The Cons are Coming!
Posted 11 years agoIt's been forever since my last journal. But that's fine since not much has happened since August. Finished up my summer job, moved back into the dorms, fursuited with some great people, and attended Daisho Con for the first time!!
I was only able to attend for a day, but had an absolute blast. I ended up cosplaying as Poison Ivy since I was a last minute add to the trip. And at that point I still hadn't made any real progress on my fursuit (nor have I since..). But it was a pretty good decision for last minute and I actually ran into some "alternate" versions of my Poison Ivy-self. I also ran into a couple furries! They were really great and their partial-suits were beautiful. Curious to see if I'll run into them again. :)
That was last semester, before the snow hit and classes decided to really hit us hard. Winter break came and I was able to start and almost finish the main parts of a Cosplay intended for future cons. Then classes started up again and I lost all motivation to do anything but sleep. However, now with spring break and Kitsune Kon less than a week away I have begun sewing/crafting/arting again with renewed vigor. I'll be going as Poison Ivy again and I am very excited to try out my first partial suit! :D Can't wait!

Summer Vacation
Posted 12 years agoIt's been a busy summer... With hardly any time to craft or plan my fursuit! D: But finally I have started work on a clay model for my first resin cast blank!! Hooray! Wish me luck.
