So I missed the Anniversery of an event that was a catalist in my life. Ironic I was late to this as I only found out about the inccident years after it happened.

What I'm referring to was October 6-12th, 1998 when Matthew Shepard was beaten, burned, and tied to a fence in freezing weather barely alive in a crucifix pose. He was found the next morning and he Died on October 12th.

Matt was the target of a robbery, one in which he was chosen because he was gay. He was tricked into thinking his attackers were also gay and interested in him.

When I found out about it in 2004, And I did the research behind it, I was devastated that a person was killed for being different. I was already struggling with my faith, I was Roman Catholic at the time, and seeing the hate from so many religious people and churches towards Matt for being gay, was one of the major factors that spurred me to denounce my faith. It also taught me that what my mothers parents were saying wasn't just religious dogma, they believed it and they were hateful people, something my mom refuses to see to this day.

Not to mention this brought my attention to how bad us minorities are treated in the usa. Matts Death was so horrific, I don't think there has been a death this bad and polarizing in America Since Emmet Till.

And people who see folk like Trump, and all those horrible bigots as holy and Jesus like. There was a literally example of a modern day Jesus, This kid was beaten, tortured and the crucified for being different and supporting loving all.

So recently after Hamilton I got on a musical kick. I found Heathers, and then Six. Six is a bit different, because its about Henry the 8ths Six wives competing to see who is the best. As a history nerd i was intrigued. This is one time and area of history I haven't really studied. So i listened and did some research, and it got me interested more. The damn Tudors were more interesting and twisted full of sex and betrayal then the Game of thrones. It mad me also visit a series I ignored growing up, the Tudors. Because I thought it would be boring and mostly sex. Its not.. its Very good, really interesting. There are a handful of historical inaccuracy, like Henry's weight, and the fact no attempt was ever mad on Anne Bolyens life.But all in all its a good watch so far.

So recently after the closing of Furnation, another site started by a few members of Furnation popped up galled Furgather. Most people did not know about it till the old owner of Furnation heavily pushed people to join it on closing Furnation down. Turns out the site is run by a group of people who share a common fetish, while that in itself is harmless, certain things about the site are not.

The owner and admins are all big into baby fur stuff, they made a separate site just for baby furs, but put a huge disclaimer saying baby furs were encouraged and allowed to use the normal one and do all the baby fur stuff and post all the art they like. Any negative comments steered at them will not be tolerated.

First of its unfair to make a second site dedicated to just your fetish of baby fur stuff, but allow the other site you made for normal talk, allowed to host baby fur content.

Second, no one should force a fetish onto people. And having a site where you say baby fur stuff is ok and if you disagree its essentially you being a bigot or asshole.

Personally i have the "You do you I do me" belief. But I don't agree in forcing fetishes into the public eye and when people react negatively throwing a hissy fit.

Its sad a good pg furry site was closed down so a new forced fetish site can get more attention.

One of the oldest furry sites, older then Fa by alot, is shutting down tonight after more then twenty years of running. It hosted a lot of good furs and furries who are no longer with us. It brought together friends and lovers and will always fondly be remembered. Goodnight Furnation.

So well fuck..I am being kicked out of my house sometime tomorrow because my shitty family situation. Does not help that I have mental disabilities but yet the government thinks im ok enough to not get SSI. I try and find work, no place hires me or wants to hire me. I have no local friends to turn to, no money. And the local shelters here have been closed down. I literally have no where to go and no way of leaving. I just don't know what to do.

I truly hate this fake holiday more then any other. A day when hallmark rubs it in your face that you have to have a loved one and if you do you have to make a big deal about it. First off, you should not spend one day of the year doting on your loved one and telling them how much you care, that should be every day of the relationship. Two, there is so much pressure on us single folk to find a person today even if we don't want one, or can't seem to find one. I hate all the people who spread the lovey dovey art work and all that shit, which basically just rubs it in everyone elses faces. Quite frankly i just think this holiday needs to go away.
