Hello, been awhile since I made one of these. Always rather shy when it comes to this stuff, but I am trying to get out of my comfort zones. Considering this year has been my most productive year since 2016, and many years simply not having art posted at all between then, I think it it has been working out.

Still, I feel my art has not improved as much as I like, and perhaps seeking out actual feedback may help. My new comic, Doomed Coons, is making slow progress on page 3. I noticed many mistakes, some minor, some more glaring, with the first 2 pages. Somewhat due to simply over looking the smaller flaws and continuity errors, and somewhat due to rushing them a bit and giving myself more leniency due to it being a larger comic. Seeing the results though made me realize that I should take a lot more time with a project like that. It is a lot bigger undertaking than I expected and I want to treat it with care. Also, I want to make it the best it can be simply for the fact that there is very little Spiffo porn out there, and if I can make the highest quality of it's kind that would bring me a lot of joy for such an underated character.

In other news I caved and started actively posting to Twitter relatively recently. twitter.com/gipbandit before it was just an automated link dump to my InkBunny submissions, and I don't even use InkBunny anymore so I started posting my stuff directly to Twitter instead. So if you like Twitter and like my art you can go there.

I used to take commissions when I was more active before, but deadlines always scare me, and it's of course always easier to put my own imagination to canvas than the vision of somebody else. However, I think within a month or two I may try my hand at it again, if people are actually willing to pay. Pricing is always tricky, I don't want to overvalue my own art and scare potention customers away, but regardless of outcome art is still a lot of time and effort. I would love to hear your thoughts on the matter.

I'm gonna finish this journal by plugging my boyfriend's (@ninjatommy21) art, because why not. I literally would not have gotten back into art if I was not inspired by him starting his own artistic ambitions. He is relatively new but improving quickly, and he is takeing commissions now. He made the icon I am using currently, as well as a few other things I commed from him. Check him out at the very least, support for him is support for me and every engagement eventually adds

Hey, so I finally got my PC up and running after breaking in December. That doesn't excuse not uploading since the summer, and not making a journal and stuff, but I'm lazy, sue me. Hello, I recently moved to Florida, aka America's penis. Unfortunately, my PC screen broke on the ride, so I can't really draw if I can't see what I'm drawing. So yeah that sucks. I've been thinking alot on whether or not to start taking commissions or not. I wanna start getting money so I can pay for commissions of my own, but idk if my art is good enough, or if there's anybody who'd be willing to pay for it. Everybody who I feel would are close friends who that I'm already doing/ have done requests for. They wouldn't be expensive, like $15 tops. Still, idk. My schedule is kinda random, so I feel getting them done in time would be a problem, something I struggle with for requests, but not as guilty for because they aren't paying money to get it. I wondering what you guys feel about how I put my watermark i all my art. The reason I did it is so if it gets spread around the net, people will know I drew it to some extent. Various ego-surfing sessions have told me that I'm pretty much the only person spreading it. The few times that that's not the case, they give credit and have source links. Now I'm wondering if I should just stop doing it at all. So, should I?

I started taking requests when I didn't really have anything I wanted to draw. I only thought I would get a few, and it'd hold me over until I have some ideas of my own. I thought it'd be fun. Now I have plenty of ideas for drawings of my own, but also a queue of at least like 6 requests I gotta do. None of which I really have an interest in drawing. It's not fun anymore. I don't even like taking requests on stream. I don't want to say I'm cancelling the requests I've been asked to do, or even put them one hiatus. I'll do em when I feel like doing em. That maybe 2 days from now, two months from now, or never. I really don't want to be an asshole, but it's kinda making it where I don't want to draw at all. I'm sorry. Please don't hate me

I made a new alternate account for posting fullsize images, weird alt pics, and comedic photo edit stuff that I do. Wanted to separate them just in case there are people who would be annoyed getting those in their notifications when they just wanna see my art. So I've closed requests for the time being, but my friend  Kllza is looking for people to ask him for requests. He started drawing about a month ago, and wants people to ask him for requests to help him grow. I got a request from him recently , too! Check him out!

So, now that I have a mountain of requests to take on, I'm now closing requests. I'm sorry if you wanted one, but didn't get to ask for one. I made like 3 journals about it, so it's your fault actually ! I may do trades still, though. So, after some thinking, I've decided I'm gonna stop uploading my own stuff to e621. I now think that uploading my own stuff to the site kinda comes off as weird and arrogant. Not to mention some of the drama I've caused on the site in the past probably gave me a bad reputation there. I think there's a guy just waiting for my art to down vote t too. Withing the first 10-15 minutes of uploading, my art would always have a downvote, and I kinda feel it's the same person. If you wanna post my art there, go ahaed, but I'm done messing with that site.

Moving along, I'm wanna do some more stuff with Gip. My OC/fursona/whatever I've been drawing for the past few days. If you have an idea for a pic I could draw with him in it, put it in the comments. Perhaps you wanna see him do something with you OC/fursona/whatever. Keep in mind that these are suggestions, and not requests. They're for my benefit, to give me ideas for my character.

So, I think I'm gonna take a break from making art here for a little bit. I don't know how long. Maybe a week, or maybe a month. Maybe I'll get inspired, and you'll see something tomorrow, but probably not. I don't know. Just don't get upset if I don't upload for a little while. I've done like 6 pics in the last week, a 4 hour stream, on top of work and various other personal matters, and I am exhausted. Doing a stream this Friday to celebrate an entire year making art. This time I have tablet, so maybe I won't suck as much! Hopeful thinking!
