Posted 8 years agoHey guys! Moving's gone fine, and is over with (except a small incident with the stupid previous landlord), and now i'm sitting here just WAITING for my internet.
Originally it was supposed to be done and over with LAST wednesday, but SOMEWHERE, something went wrong, and there's no net in my wall. Or at least in the router. I dunno, i'm good at software, but not hardware. Except metaphorically. Snrk snrk.
Either way, sunday the ISP said they'd have the problem fixed within 3 days, and alas, wednesday is upon me tomorrow, the last day within their own timeframe, SOOOO, provided everything goes right, even though with my luck so far that's unlikely to happen. BUT, you don't get anywhere by not staying negative.
So here's to hoping! I might be back for good tomorrow, not using my phone to satisfy my furry yiffy needs.
Got a handful of YCHs in the making now, aside from the already existing waiting list. So look forward to that~!

I'll have my phone data, but i'll be sparse, as i don't have A LOT of data.

I've been living in a lonely basement corner by myself for a few years or so now, something that i personally think has taxed my mental state quite a lot. You can only be alone for so long, am i right?
So since the start of 2017 a couple of my friends and i have been looking around for a 3-man apartment, and by the luck of our timing did we not only find, but also got the most central, reasonably cheap apartment possible!
It's pretty big all things considered, 3 separated rooms for privacy, and, again, i cannot stress how central it is. Literally a minute of walking away from a mall, and anything else we could ever need.
I'm incredibly excited!
However it's going to take a looooot of money out of me in the first few months. And if my soon to be flatmates weren't great people who are willing to help me with food and stuff, it'd probably be impossible. But alas!
It just means i probably can't afford to set aside any money for new art. And i like my art, trust me, it's already been crushing to see all these offers pass me by. x3
Also probably means i'll be without internet for a small while until we can get all of that set up. THAT'S the real challenge.
So yeah! Much hype!

Personally it stood between a normal panda, fox, and a deer, way back in ye olde times.

I've gotten an awfully draining cold, so all my plans to do stuff tonight are ruined x3
My god do i feel awful.
Perfect way to end the year 2016, i suppose. So tragic to have lost so many of our childhood stars.
But! We can only hope 2017 will be merciful in comparison.

I've been contemplating for a reeeally long time now whether or not to hold some kinda raffle for some two-character artwork with me and a lucky winner, and i might still!
But if i do decide to do so it will probably have to be done then put on hold for a while, since dentistry work is sucking my wallet dry x3

I've just turned 21. If i was in the US, i could drink now! But i'm not, so i've been able to drink since i was 18. Good times.

I just lost some personal favorites which i gadda put back where they belong >:O
Also the amount of people raging at FA, blaming it for everything when they haven't been reading about what's been happening.
In case someone don't know (and correct me if i'm wrong, please), some website gave some guy the ability to download the source code of the website, which he then saved onto USB sticks and gave them out at a con, so now someone/several people attacked the site to cause wreckage, which is why they shut the site down to prevent further damage.
Sure, a week between backups is sub-optimal, and there's a lot of sub-optimal things around, but if you're blaming 'Neer and the lot for this issue, just stahp.
Anyways, good to be back! My IV drip of furry content is connected well and nice again.

• What is the name of your fursona?
Arylon Lovire, or Ary for short
• Where did the name of your Fursona come from?
Arylon Lovire was the online persona name i came up with while getting into roleplaying on Gaia Online way back when. That was before i was a furry, however, and it just started out as a name i eventually grew really attached to.
As for how i came up with it, while choosing a name for SOME random roleplay, i browsed through the Final Fantasy wiki, and found a small NPC from the first game named Arylon the Dancer. I liked the ring of it, so bam!
I have genuinely no idea what made me decide for "Lovire" however.
• What species is your fursona and why did you choose that species?
Raccoon!
There wasn't honestly that much thought behind it other than listing a number of animals i liked that i could be happy with while choosing. Though, raccoon was kinda high on the list from the very beginning. I didn't really want to just be gray and black, however! When i found out that raccoons COULD legitimately be brown and beige, i immediately settled for it. (I'm a sucker for more realistic colors instead of extravagant things).
• What color is your fursona and why? Hair/fur/eye/ect
Dark gray, brown and beige for the fur! 
valery91thunder did an absolutely amazing job picking and matching the colors for me when she visualized my sona for the first time.
Hair is a darker brown, originally made to look the way my hair did back when my sona was designed!
His eyes are green, and that's mainly because i'm a sucker for green eyes, and it looked better than blue (which is my real eye color).
• What is your fursona's personality and how does this compare to your RL personality?
I don't consider my sona a "character", i consider him, well.. Me! His personality is just an extension of my own.
And that personality is a completely messed up mix of shyness, teasiness, show-off...-iness, and blahblah. Jokesy, generally always happy seeming, and i am bad about talking about myself.
• What is one item your fursona owns that is significant to you in RL?
Uhm. There's a lot of symbolism in some of his piercings, as they represent various things.
The four studs going down his left ear stands for important people i've met, mostly past relationships that mattered greatly to me.
The thick steel ring in his other ear is a representation of how i've "hardened" and beaten some of my depression to become the generally happy person i am today.
The ones on his face don't symbolize anything, however. They are just the same ones i have in real life.
• What is one thing you think you would say to your fursona if you could meet?
"What the fuck, a walking animal!?"
I dunno. Probably maybe perhaps the same stuff they say now?
• What is one thing your fursona would say to you if you could meet?
"Do you think it would be considered masturbation?"
• How has your fursona changed over the years?
My very first fursona was a Margay with longer brown hair (similar to my hairlength now actually), and the same generally boring clothing. A t-shirt, a hoodie, and jeans. I never did anything at all with that, however. I was never really happy with it.
Which is why i hopped over to my current! And the only real change he's gone through is getting more piercings and more white fur on his butt.
• How long have you had this fursona?
Since April of 2014! I'm a newbie, i know.
• Would you like to be more like your fursona?
Like i said above, my sona's personality, and thereby in extension, really all of him, is just an online reflection of me. As i like to say, you see me if you look at my sona or my IRL self, they both count as the same person.
Other than that i mean, it'd be cool to be anthro in real life x3

Good *Fill in your own current time of day here*, people of FA! I want to hear more of your thoughts!
(Definitely not so i can figure out how you work and think and use it to my advantage as an evil king, once i step up from "Gay Raccoon Prince" to "Gay Raccoon King of EVERYTHING")
This time i don't really have much of a prologue, other than.. Well, i was thinking about how people utilize other people's artwork for personal things, obviously, like roleplay.
I personally don't mind when commissioned artwork i've gotten is spread around on other websites like e621 or.. Hell, 4chan or whatever (as long as the artist also doesn't mind). It's publicity for the artist, and maybe possibly me.
I get uncomfortable when i see other people roleplaying under a character built around my art however. I imagine the scenarios where someone comes to talk to me as if they know me because they had interracted with a personification of someone else, yunno.
And let's not forget the artists of course. I know there's generally less worry around just the artwork, as generally you seek publicity as an artist, but i know a small number who are very put off by the idea.
