The End of an Era
Posted 6 years agoFor the last year, I have been the tech support for some universities. I handled server issues, user issues, user support and a bunch of stuff in between.
My contract was for Yale, Seton Hall, University of Virginia, Georgetown University, Embry Riddle Aeronautic University, and Stanford. So if you were on one of those campus' in the last year or so you probably had to deal with me at one point or another.
I learned the ins and outs of each school from the tech end of things ya know...my job to...and I kid you not "Hey! computer lady!!! Where is the nearest pizza place that is good!" My dude....you waited 25 minutes plus in a tech queue to ask me something you could google....*sigh*
Well as some of you know my medical issues tend to kick my butt sometimes and in the last few months, I have been having issues with hospital and ER visits.
As of June first, I would have had something that would have protected me with medical call outs and such. But my HR department decided that it would be easier not to pay out those benefits and cut me today.
*sigh*
To catch some people up to speed, I move out and will be living on my own for the first time in Texas. My roommates are going off their own ways to do their couply thing and as the 5th wheel, it was going to be me rolling solo in August. This....makes things difficult.
I am gonna do my best to reorganize myself and hang in there.
Hope yall have a better week then this.

Decisions Made, No Going Back.

I came to this decision thanks to some wonderful people this past weekend. I have been debating about something for years even before I started transitioning the concept scared the daylights out of me and I always was iffy on my decision.
Not Anymore...As of Monday I opened a savings account with the interest of saving for my Gender Reassignment Surgeries. I plan on getting about 6-8k saved up before I go in and I will be under 200 pounds or close to it by that point.
The reason why is even if I am blessed enough to have what could be 6 digit surgery costs and hospital bills covered by my insurance as a friend pointed out you are two scoops of useless for 1-2 weeks in the hospital then 2 months of being bleh! So I will be saving in the hopes that as long as my insurance does its job and I save up I will be able to survive the rest!
It might sound dumb or silly to some but....this has been a long long road so far and I am very proud I am making this decision. I could not have even remotely been able to get over these hesitations without the help of some amazing people I hope to have in my life for many years to come.
Hell, it is thanks to all of you I am able to smile again, I am breaking down walls I long built up and I am showing the girl that has been hidden away. Thank my lucky stars for some reason yall seem to like her.

It took a ton of work, emotional craziness but I got it done down in Austin.

Posted 7 years agoSo yeah it has been 5 ish months since I last really was active on here aside from the occasional check in or favorited picture, life has definately found a way to keep going, some very dark times and some bad things too but I am still here, I'm still fighting.
I was going to avoid going to TFF this year in a mixed attempt to take more time to recover but after ditching my own birthday thing and thanks to a truly amazing friend, a badge and room where grabbed for me and I was told I was being taken to TFF wether I agreed or not sooooo

I am tired of fighting for rights and justice and love and liberty then get attacked by friends, family, and family of friends.
This isn't one issue or one person this is a lot of people. This is a ton of negativity, nasty comments and horrible moments people just think are ok to let slide.
Do you want to attack me? Say I'm stupid, ignorant, a racist, waste of life, mentally retarded, male, fine....go for it but I'm tired of playing nice and I'm tired of trying to help. I simply am tired.
I am gonna ghost for a bit. No more facebook no more twitter or snapchat or Tumblr or any of those they are all off my phone.
If something big is going on or you need to reach out please there is a ton of ways to do so. If you are sitting there wondering if it is you. Probably not.
I want to clear my mind, if I come back to social media I will do it on my own terms.
To all of you who made it to the end. Hell for those of you who didn't. I wish you nothing but peace love and light in your life. May your days bring joy and adventure. May you learn from your struggles and become ever stronger.

All Artists Wanted!!
Posted 8 years agoOkie so first up this is not a right now thing as I am super broke but!!!!!! I wanna to get a BUNCH of artists to make Cat tokens! All kinds of cats!!!! Why? Well I play a card game called Magic the Gathering, one of my favorite decks is my Catmander deck which makes LOTS of cat tokens. I kinda wanna make a big thing of this commisioning lots of artists for my Magic tokens. Not just the basic boring ones or my stick figure doodles I have been using but turning to artists and asking for Cat Soliders! Birb Scholars!! PUPPIESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!

Sorting out thoughts [internal rant]
Posted 8 years agoIt only took a year this time...My desire, my love for another even purely platonic has managed to drive a wedge in a friendship.
A year ago at TFF 2016, I was invited to visit Texas for the first time and meet a fur that was my daddy and later sort of transitioned into a Mommy figure for me. We had been close for many years thanks to random sites and gaming and what not and we loved each other.
There had been some naughty fun in chat before and they knew of my sisters and everything was a okie. . .then he found someone. Someone amazing to him. A nice person who loved him and I was very excited for him but nervous cause TFF would be the first time I met her too.
I knew nothing could happen with my important person, that was fine but I was nervous about being in a new state, meeting new people, being around new furs. "Would they accept me as female?" "Would they accept me as a babyfur/little?" "Would they be okie with my defects even in person?"
TFF 2016 was a mixed bag, I made new friends but there was that longing for real connection the whole time. Wanting to be connected to people. I made come friends that meant a lot to me and decided that I would move to Texas. The main contributor to that was actually my friend's fiance. SHE WAS FLIPPING AWESOME! Kind, Friendly, Affectionate, she said i was adorable and cute and established herself as my Mommy very quickly. It was heaven and I was super excited to live in the same state as them, hoping I would visit them a good deal as we would be only an hour apart.
As some know the move to Texas hit a bit speed bump with the place i was moving into falling through and I was going to be living in whatever car I got down here. Come the new Mommy to the rescue. She DEMANDED I stay with them till I could find a place, saying it wasn't acceptable to live in a car or wherever. As things came to pass I wound up taking over half the house as their then roommates moved out. All amazing people under one roof, all like family. It was new it felt weird but....finally right. I was smiling...happy...even satisfied.
For the last year, I have had the undying support of a new family. Both of them taking care of me and helping me through rough patches and forging good memories along the way. It was made clear dozens of times, I never wanted to come between them. I loved them none physically. They were my family. My caretakers. My Friends.
But like all good stories, storms start brewing. Over the last, while I could see the looks I am all too familiar with. The pained look of dealing with a little when you just don't want to anymore. So...I tried to limit it...be less little around then. Let Rina take the front seat and be more grown up. Still, the tension was in the air. Suttle at times but always there. Finally, I couldn't take it anymore and asked what was the underlined thing going on fearing I knew the answer.
These people, my family, wanted to find a house together. Stay together with me. But me being little was grating on the nerves, wanting love and attention were dulling their relationship. My desire for affection was pushing them on boundaries they long since established.
I get this. They are committed to each other. Not me. That is fine and I was determined to always be their biggest supporter. So...I guess this is it. Not going to do something dramatic, not even gonna vow to leave or not talk to them....Just gonna sit with my pain....use it to shape another mask, another layer of armor against the world. I let them get very very close, more than most people I know.
It just hurts....They wish that I will find someone to be that figure I need in my life, be a support, be my love. I have never had much luck with that. My level of community down in Texas is shallow to say the least so it doesn't seem like a mate will spawn from the ground. Who knows maybe I willl look back on this post one day and laugh over how hopeless it felt then while I cuddle up with a special someone. But for now I will diligently get back to the grind of work. I will hold my ground. I stand holding my own banner and even though I can count friends among my numbers, it is no ones duty but my own to fight for me.

Posted 8 years agoSo my birthday was kinda a wash but still good I spent my day at work then came home to a homemade cake by my packmates. Life has been progressively more interesting which leads me to today!!!
Soooo after many years of working towards it today I accomplished a long time goal. I was approved for HRT!!! And I picked up my new hormones!! Super super excited. My test results all came in great being down from 400 pounds to 256 super helped. My hormones will be monitored and checked over the next few months, I can't wait to see where this leads! <3

Birthday Floof!
Posted 9 years agoYay!!! I am a bigger floof then last year!!!!! Still goofy and weird still hyper and squirmy so not much changed there but moving to texas has helped me grow into a better floof *nods sagely* I am lots happy with what i have done since i came here!
Off to New Jersey
Posted 9 years agoI leave in 7 hours to return to New Jersey for an extended weekend.
Not very excited about spending time with my bio family but I am willing to try and play civil. Happily I already have a return ticket set so if things go to heck I have a way back to those I am safe with at my true home.
I am hoping to run into some friends and hopefully with a lot of luck enjoy some holiday cheer with my friends and some biofamily in jersey.
No certainties but I will remain hopeful.

Posted 9 years agoJust found out a few of my allies have blocked me on here and a few other sites, joy. Not 100% sure why on some of them but it stings to know they can't even have the courtesy to face me themselves.
I believe I am gonna take a page out of a few smarter friends books and just leave social media for a bit. Not a cry for help, not a pity party, just avoiding toxic people and the political nightmare.
My phone will be on if you need me for something, please bear with me for a little bit as a focus my attention on rebuilding myself.
As a final note to the 4 of you whom asked for my love and trust, who said I could always come to you and then pull things like this. I still love you. I don't make it a habit to hate others. Maybe one day we will speak again.

Blizzcon / Grand Prix Dallas / World of Warcraft / Life
Posted 9 years agoThis weekend was quite the Rollercoaster! Friday was prep, new glasses and blizzcon really enjoyed the big announcements and while one of the competing metal bands preformed a mount I have worked to try and get for years finally dropped!!! Great way to end the night and start my weekend, Saturday we where up 5am to hit the road for Dallas-Fort Worth, still very out of it AriaWolfheart offered to drive unfortunately the storm got really bad and we switched up because I know my car better then her and I made the rest of the drive her keeping me going, we made it to the convention center with 2 minutes to spare.
This year the main event was modern and I retooled my legacy affinity deck to fit the bill. Over all after a series of uphill battles I ended the night 3/4/0 I was early to 3 losses against some pretty impressive decks including bant Company. Stony Silence is my bane. I made some friends and got Rina some cards for her puppers deck. I wound up getting a ton of art and signatures and we went out to Red Robin's for our cheat meal.
The hotel was huge but a heard of children and WiFi issues made it a bit sour. All in all amazing day 1
Day 2 we slept in a bit had some breakfast and got to the con in time for some side events, twisted draft and sealed team letting Aria try a few new things. More art and an alter on one of my cards, we met up with Sadie and Demi for dinner at Fuzzy's Tacos and made it home with some craziness just after midnight. Now it is back to the salt mines for work!!! Great great weekend!!

Time for an update!
Posted 9 years agoBeen a few weeks and life hasn't been easy, I won't lie. BUT I have started my new job working for Microsoft's Xbox Division and this friday is our first pay check! <3 sooo excited, have a lot to pay off and the next paycheck after it will be getting health insurance, hormones and new glasses!!! So soooo excited!!!!
In other news, today a giant box filled with my plushies arrived from my friend who was watching them in New Jersey!! Sooo happy!!! Ontop of all that fun, this week my first crinkle crate should be in. I am gonna spend this weekend cubbing out, fun games and movies and plushie photo shoot!

Texas Furs & TFF [vent]
Posted 9 years agoSo I am coming up on 5 months down in Texas and it was pointed out to me. With the exception of 2 furs I have seen no one outside of my roommates since I have been down here. I was nervious about coming down here and thanks to TFF and the TFF Cub Hub, I won't lie I was pretty excited to be a Texas Fur!
But...for the first few months I tried to reach out to a bunch of furs, be friendly, talk about meet ups and meets. I really don't wanna hit half a year down here and still not meet up with anyone. I really did enjoy meeting people at TFF but to be honest I felt...out of place. The Cub Hub was absolutely amazing and I enjoyed all the activities and such but at the same time, I couldn't shake this feeling like I was just an outsider looking in and I desperately wanted to change that. Now at least part of me feels like next year I shouldn't even bother with certain things at TFF and such.
Honestly my nerves are fried and my new job starts today. My mind is a mess and my sense of self is a bit off. In Jersey I had friends I could turn to, hug it out. Be part of the group and such. Here....I have my roommates and they are truly wonderful but I miss having a group of friends, hang outs, meet ups, I miss hearing, "Oh yeah that's Tera she is like my little sister." and just smiling bright knowing to those people I meant more then some random fur on the street.

Aria down another 4 pounds making a total loss of 13 pounds
Frost down 6.8 making his total loss 14 pounds
I am down another 6.6 pounds bring my total loss to 14.4 pounds!!!!!!!!!!
Aside from this great news
I heard back from the Gaming Company I applied to and they are interested in me starting August 8th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And best of all i finally found out who the company who runs them actually is!! *SQUEEEEE*

New Diet First Weigh In!
Posted 9 years agoOk so this diet has been rough, I am reprogramming my entire body on how to function, how to use nutrients, I got super sick and my body rejected it as hard as it could! but with a lot of perseverance and some choice songs for motivation I pushed through week one and today was the weigh in!
8 pounds down! HECK YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finding Dory / New Diet / Exercise
Posted 9 years agoWent to see Finding Dory last night wiff my roommates and our former roommates, i was told to be double padded & plastic pants just in case then Aria told me to bring a paci and gave me her plush Dory to hold <3 So much love! I love that i don't have to hide here. They all know I a baby girl. They giggle and play with me. We went out to eat after a diaper change and some phone recharging then did a ton of walking and caught pokemon too!!! Best way to start off a new diet and exercise program is with a great night and we had just that.
I love my new pack so very much <3
As of today we are clearing out the rest of the house of any food with carbs and are doing 0 carb for the first month then slowly giving ourselves a small allowance as we switch from 0 carb to low carb diet. This worked out amazing for me years ago and i am super excited tew be back on it!!! With the workouts, dancing, swimming and new job plus the diet I will finally be healthier and smaller! Mew <3
Today has already been productive i was up at 7:30 i got some pokemon catching in, then i got an oil change and went for an hour walk and caught more pokemon!!! now i am snacking a bit before getting back out there to work <3 hope you are all doing great! <3
