soooo get this, yesterday I was doing laundry and couldn't for the life of me find my cellphone at all, (it's a ver.2 LG Chocolate from Verizon, the maroon one) so the day goes by and I still cant find it and of course the battery had died the night before so I couldn't even call it to find it so I could charge the battery. so I backtrack a bit to the pants I was wearing yesterday...which just happened to be in the washing machine at the time. so after the cycle finishes I find my cellphone in the pocket of the wet and just washed pants. so knowing that it's an incredibly remote possibility that it would even function again, especially after going through the whole wash and rinse and spin cycles on top of being battered around in there. I left it out overnight and plugged it in this morning the battery charged! on top of that the phone works even better than it did before which honestly makes me laugh, the keys don't stick and the only thing that seems wrong right now is there are dark patches on my screen. other than that it made a full recovery!! not only am I lucky but goddamn LG makes some serious hearty hardware!

words have been flying back and forth across the internets today about the death of Michael Jackson, and as necro stated in her journal I have to admit at how disappointed I am at the bigotry and ignorance that has been the spur and the basis of many arguments and statements today...

Let's take a look at the supporting evidence and the life of Michael Jackson as a whole

when he was young and was with the Jackson 5 his father pushed and pushed him to perform and that he'd never amount to anything to get him to keep singing and try to prove him wrong, thus over time the entertainer was born

however in light of this, having to act on adult matters, and please millions upon millions of people forced him out of his childhood to be an adult before the age of 12, completely missing out on the most important years in a child's life, all the while with an abusive father beating him down over and over again telling him that he was good for nothing, and here in lies the absolute distaste for his father

older now Michael is out on his own, never having been given the acknowledgment that every child needs as they grow up, he's on his own, making records and donating more money to charity than any other human being on earth, at least it says so in the Guinness book of records.

and we get into the surgery, the changing of attitude the ranch and the whole debacle that his life turned into. now before I begin let me say that I'm a supporter of Michael and have never turned my back on him. not only did the families whose children say he molested them come forward and say there were in it for the money, but the room full of children toys and the like? well if you never had a childhood and had to be an adult all the time, wouldn't you want a sanctuary in where you could feel safe? and live out your dream in your own home safe from prying eyes? need I remind you that not one scrap of child pornography was found in his home, nor were there any allegations, other than money driven families to say that he had sex with the kids like it was claimed.

however the damage was done, he was labeled and yet he still performed and tried to work his way out of what had happened and still produced music even after the world had turned it's back on him.

I can understand the surgery he went through, with how much he hated his father, as he grew older he began to look more and more like him, and in order to stop that he went under the knife, and because he never got the attention as a child he went further and tried to get attention whether good or bad from people he met. he hid his face from adults because they judged him, he welcomed children because they were what he so desperately wanted to be again, what he never had a chance to have, the innocence and joy that only a child can know.

Honestly I cant blame him for that, but there are a lot of people out there who disagree with me. I'm not trying to shove this down your throats nor am I standing on a soapbox to preach the word out. I'm just saying my piece and I'm sad that one of the most influential people in my lifetime has come to such a short end. it cant be ignored that between his music, the charities, and his life itself, not a soul on this earth hasn't been touched by him in some way. so I say rest in piece mike, we're gonna miss you. and I hope you find what you're looking for

in the year I've been with  Necrodrone13 and  Kadath062 i haven't written a single thing about my relationship at all about either of them or how things have been going! I'm going back and actually looking at my past journals and I'm seeing just the tremendous journey I've been on in the past year, I know I still have a long way to go, but I'm realizing just how much of a whiny asshole I used to be. and honestly all the progress I've made is entirely thanks to my mates. I love them both dearly and couldn't be without them ever!

I'm not trying to blow my horn, I'm just eternally thankful for having them in my life, I can honestly say that they complete me in ways I never even thought or imagined. and they've really helped me "grow up" in a sense from who I used to be. My change from tiger to a Clydesdale horse wasn't just because I was bored of the character, more like the tiger represented all the hurt and the shell of defenses I used to wear, brash, arrogant, tried to act like he knew everything, things like that. and I look back on it and don't even recognize the person from the photos a year ago. It's really a good thing in my opinion, no scratch that, the best thing, that armor was HEAVY and I cant stress that enough, Necro and Kad have freed my chains on more than one occasion, and lord knows they'll keep helping me break these shackles in my mind. normally I'd protest in being released form chains and the like *chuckles* but you get the picture you know? those aren't the fun chains, they hurt, and I mean a lot. It's been like a dream most days, and I'm scared I might wake up one day, but it's been entirely their help that's pushed me as far as I've been able to go so far, and they keep pushing me which I'm so very very thankful for. it's like having a single candle in the middle of a vast field, you can barely see it sometimes, but it's always guiding you to it, and that's the best analogy I can give on this *smiles* it's simple yet it says everything I think.

my main point in this whole thing, (sorry if I'm rambling a bit. it's just a lot of words in my head that spill out, and I just hope they make sense sometimes) is that I couldn't be happier with the 2 loves of my life  Necrodrone13 and  Kadath062 I've never felt more joy and focus in my life and I feel like I'm actually becoming someone that people might look up to, not look down on. and I gotta tell you, that feeling is indescribable!

on a secondary note, I'm sure you've read from their necro and kad's journals that we're moving soon. Back to my hometown of Boise, Idaho. I'm excited about it, and yet not at the same time. It's been a long time since I've been back there and with the state of things between my parents right now it can get stressful for me, but I have my 2 rocks to hold me up and keep me upright. it's a weird feeling, to look forward to going there and yet at the same time, not. I'm not sure if that makes sense, I just don't know how to explain it any other way than that. things'll be incredibly easier for us there, hell we're looking at HOUSES for less than half of what we're paying now a month, and they're 200 to 400 sq. ft. bigger than the townhouse we're in now. so there's a huge pro for that, also jobs are a bit easier there. I've already been talking with my manager here at Chile's and we're trying to get me hired (since I cant transfer to a non corporate store) there so kad and necro can work on their art and writings fulltime. another huge bonus there. Necro can have her dogs that she's always wanted, I mean seriously the list goes on! So I guess you can see how we're all looking forward to this huge opportunity that life has given us and we're taking it by the horns and hanging on with all we've got here. so that's a huge looking forward to here in the next 2 weeks, our move out date is may 15th so we'll be on blackout status till I can get our computers hooked up at my mom's house while we look for a place of our own. so that'll be really good too.
