Moving (on FA)
Posted 13 years agoI've decided at the beginning of the year to switch accounts. After new years, the babyfur stuff people are used to seeing will be found at:
https://www.furaffinity.net/user/on.....iaperedbunneh/
My vanilla stuff, which is currently not much and just amounts to a little Pink Floyd cover, can be found at:
http://www.furaffinity.net/user/stonerabbit123/
I will be finishing stories and other things I've been working on, I've just decided to organize tihngs differently and switch out of this old account. Peace!

Updates/new things
Posted 13 years agoWell, seems I've got the itch to draw again. Dunno how long that'll last, but II'll see what comes of it :)
I'm using Gimp, which is quite handy, and Poser Debut for references, which is a dogsend. I hope, overtime, this'll improve my innate ability to draw bodies in different positions/angles with vanishing points, but I dunno. I know of a few people who've learned in similar ways. Part of the reason my backgrounds are coming out a lil better is because using Poser Debut enables marking of the vanishing points. It's easy to set up an entire scene with props and use it as a reference afterwards, much like drawing mannequins (only on steroids) -- I mark where the features go, have a rough outline and it's just adding details at that point. I feel my shading and lines need improvement... vast, vast improvement... but one step at a time. I might end up taking an art class as an elective, since I'm planning on going back to school soon. Depends on what I have time for/desire to do :)
I'll post more of the story again soon enough. I feel the need to fine-tune it first.

Sto Protect IP
Posted 14 years agoThere's talk of a Protect IP bill being passed this week.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t74BzyM7iis
For those that don't know, this is very serious stuff concerning censoring of the Internet. It's unconstitutional and very scary to think about potentially being passed. Anything with copyrighted material (fair use or not, apparently) would be removed and the website potentially shut down. This could mean the death of things that generate a lot of user-based content like LJ, youtube, FA, DA, ThatGUYwithTHEglasses, Zero Punctuation, torrents, ect.
This link provided explains it, as well as gives a few links that could help our voices get heard so that everyone can keep this bill from being passed.
If passed, granted, it would take years for it to be taken into effect and during that time it could be rescinded, however those who care are better made aware now when its just starting and its easier to do something about it.
Please look into it. Thank you!

Grand Theft Mario
Posted 15 years agoSection for browsing...
Posted 15 years agoRead something to this effect on someone else's journal...
Just a show of hands, how many people would like a separate "Diaperfur" selection in the browse menu? I think it would be cool. Just a thought I'm trying to pass around. Get enough people interested and go from there :)
Diapers aren't to everyone's taste, however there is a noticeable difference between Diaperfur and Babyfur: Diaperfur being furry art that centers around just diapers and Babyfur centering around more of the baby aspects. I can appreciate both but write/draw more Diaperfur than Babyfur.
Most probably won't care about the difference, but there is a difference between the two and its prominent enough to possibly warrant requesting a separate section if enough furs show interest. Just a thought :)

New Post
Posted 15 years agoNew post... seeing how it's nine months from fall and the last one was me talking about how much I love fall. Epic neglect of journal there
Anywho, the story I've been working on for like five years is coming to an end. Another 1-2 (maybe 3) parts then it's done. Just have to get off my tail and start writing some more.
Trying my paw at occasionally drawing. It takes years (and talent) to get a good as what most admire, but I'm going to keep at it. Having trouble with drawing the female body (looks like a guy's body with milk sacks) but I guess that comes with time.
I'm impressed to watch a lot of artists grow over time. It's neat and fun -- there are people I'm watching who started out pretty decent and have developed their skills over time. Drawing isn't the skill I'm most developing right now (nor is writing), but I know what it's like to be able to do something that was previously very hard or impossible with ease, and it's pretty neat. That's why I don't give up, though drawing isn't highest on the stuff I'm learning for fun right now :-P

October notes
Posted 16 years agoAutumn is here!
October is probably one of my favorite times of year. Not too cold, but far enough away from Summer that it's not too hot either... which is a good thing, because it'd suck to wear an elaborate Halloween Costume in the heat. Halloween is an awesome Holiday, too, and just around the corner... Can't beat the cool weather. I love October :)

Arts
Posted 16 years agoI realize certain people have a natural talent for art and others just... don't.
What I'm hoping for is to get good at drawing over time. I'm planning to start drawing a bit more -- if people wish to give me critique, I welcome it, however if it's the type of critique that could have one rocking in a fetal position sucking his thumb then... well, I'm gunna have to deal with that ^^
So, I'm hoping to have something new once a week... maybe two weeks. I have ideas for pictures fairly often, I just don't have the talent to draw them out. I find drawing pretty relaxing and fun, and by doing it repetitively, I can only get better.

Posted 18 years agoNot really too much to say for a first. I'm just figuring out how to use this thing ^^
Anywho, some of my friends have FA pages and I figured getting one would probably be the easiest way to keep tabs on their art. I'm probably going to redo things (needs a batter name) and make a more serious page. This one's just kinda so I can watch my friends draw.
I may post some of my stuff once I get this down. I really need more practice when it comes to drawing, but I liked to. Been described as "I'm more of a dialog kinda guy"
