So I found a fun way to put my DJing skills to the test. Handicap myself in the most adorable way with very limited vision, fluffy handpaws that are difficult to grasp small knobs with, a crappy earbud headphone cue... all while overheating withing a couple of minutes! It was really fun and I plan to do this again in the future! The end result is so worth it! x3

Soooo today is the day I turn 26 years old! Just seems like yesterday that I was turning 18.. time really flies!

So I got a little public Teamspeak server running on one of my spare PCs. It's been a fun little project to set up and I would love for it to get more use than it is! Also, with this site update. I've read a lot of people's journals about how they are going to leave and post elsewhere. I'm not going to ditch an entire fanbase or community because of a couple of minor tweaks. It really amuses me how such small things can cause such a huge ruckus in the fandom. So as of today, I am officially 25 years old. Man how time flies after you graduate from high school. I still feel like I'm 18 years old, so I guess that's a good thing hehe!
An interesting thing to think of though.. when you're 5 years old, 1 year is 1/5th of your life--when you're 25, it's 1/25th of your life..

• What is the name of your fursona?

Asher Kaleb Ninetails is his full name. You can just call him Asher. A lot of my friends call me Ash, so you can call me by that too if you like! ^^

• Where did the name of your fursona come from?

I got the idea of the name from the book "The Giver." It is a Hebrew word that means 'happiness.' I try to keep a happy and positive attitude, especially online, and it's also a Christian name. Just seems to fit me

• What species is your fursona and why did you choose that species?

He is 100% fox. I feel that I fit the personality of a fox--full of personality, witty at times, but also self-reliant and kind hearted to those whom I've really connected with. That's not to say I'm not friendly to people I haven't met yet, I just really warm up to those I've learned to trust. =)

• What color is your fursona and why?

Red all the way! Red is my favorite color, and I'm not a red fox like the.. natural orange foxes. He's actually RED! Like Clifford! It is a bit confusing, but hey, I'm what the red fox should be! Red is the color of love and passion! :D

• What is your fursona's personality and how does this compare to your RL personality?

He is pretty much me with fur and a tail in terms of personality. I find it difficult not to be myself online, hence why I only like to play as him. I've had ideas for other characters, but I look at them and say, 'That's not me' and will always remain in this form. He does smoke a hell of a lot more than I do though. xD Then again, he can't get health hazards from it.

• What is one item your fursona owns that is significant to you in RL?

Roland JP-8000. I bought it with my first ever paycheck. If you don't know music gear, it's essentially what developed the indistinguishable trance sound as we know it today. That supersaw is a legend that still is in use today! ^^

• What is one thing your fursona would say to you if you could meet?

• How has your fursona changed over the years?

It was interesting seeing the early interpretations of him. The muzzle markings pretty much developed on their own from the evolutions of using new art for reference. I didn't get a true ref-sheet until a couple years ago. Other than that, he's remained pretty much the same.

• How long have you had this fursona?

I've had him since 2007. He basically started as a Second Life account and I used my avatar for my first reference pictures for commissions. That's how the collar has made it's way as his little trademark. The collar with the male tag was one of the first accessories I purchased for the avatar and I still use it in art and SL today even though it's years old!

• Would you like to be more like your fursona?

I would love to have his body and form. Being human gets boring and I made him basically as an idealized form of myself. As stated before, he's my personality in fox form, so the only thing I'd wish for is to take his form. =)
