So over the past year and a half I've drawn a lot from a range of "Too cute!" to "Wow... I didn't know that was a kink" This never bothered me because kinky art has been my main focus. But recently my focus has been swaying.

Not too long ago, I was commissioned to draw some cute Twitch emotes and it was the most fun and satisfying time I've ever had drawing! I really want to draw more stuff like this as well as Telegram stickers, but I would need to advertise myself. That however leads back to my kinky art.

What I imagine happening, is that someone interested in commissioning me for cute stickers finds me on FA. But then sees all the weird-ass kinky art I have and *nopes* out.

On the other paw I can continue taking kinky art commissions and nobody will bat an eye at the cute stuff I draw. But in that scenario, the stuff I'm most passionate about, the cute stuff, goes mostly unnoticed and unappreciated.

I dont want these two worlds to collide because I don't see myself succeeding in either if they do. But I dont see a way to continue drawing both without that happening. I feel so torn right now.

I can see a future for myself as an artist drawing either of these things, but not one where I draw both. Is it possible? I know I've seen successful artists and writers do both sfw and nsfw and not hide it, but is my kinky stuff just too weird to do both?

TLDR: Can I make it as an artist that draws both "Cute" and "Kinky"?

I could ramble on and on about this (and likely will in my head) but if anyone has any words of wisdom or opinions, I'd love to hear them.

So I've never been to a furcon but I've really wanted to go to one for a while now. It just so happens I'll be visiting family in California in January and Further Confusion will be happening that same time and is only a 2 hr drive away!

My issue is I don't want to go alone, and I don't have any friends that I know of that will be attending. Are any of y'all going?

Heya! Before anyone I've accepted a commission from freaks out, I still plan on finishing them. But I am not taking on any new comms for a while. I've recently taken on a lit more hours at my job, and coming home from my job to work on commissions at night leaves VERY little free time for me. Once I finish the comms I currently have I'm not gonna stop drawing entirely. I am just not going to be drawing as frequently.

I don't exactly have people knocking down my door asking for commissions. But I wanted to make this journal so I don't have to decline anyone that might want to ask. Everyone in this community is so nice that I feel bad turning people down.

Just a quick update. Wanted to say I'm not done with drawing, or in some kind of art slump, quite the opposite actually. I really wanna draw more but have simply been unable to.

Recently, I got an unexpected roommate for the month. They are almost constantly home, and have a clear view of my screen if they looked. Because of that I don't wanna draw anything NSFW because that's an awkward conversation Id rather avoid.

I could draw some sfw work I suppose but that's not nearly as fun. Plus I already have an nsfw WIP, but I have not once in the past week even gotten the chance to pull it up.

Anyways just wanted to say this because I keep seeing my watcher count go up, but I'm unable to give yall the porn you want and deserve. As soon as next month rolls around I'll be back in action drawing.

Surprisingly only took me 2 trips to Verizon to get a new phone.

I only went without a phone for 24 hours but it was a very difficult 24 hrs. I never realized how much I rely on this thing. I feel like such a fucking zoomer lmao

I dropped by phone yesterday and the screen completely came off.

But the reason I'm announcing this is I don't have access to Telegram currently, so if you tried to contact me I can't see it.

So I never really understood why so many furries use Telegram and didn't really wanna join another messenger app, but I finally decided "what the hell" and made a Telegram.

So this has been something I've been pondering for a long time, "What is my art worth?"

I've done a lot of comparing with other artists and their prices and just thought mine isn't worth even half as much as theirs, so I've been charging pretty cheap. And I'm totally fine with that! I have a well paying job, and art is very much just a hobby.

But I want to know what you guys think. How much would you pay to commission an art piece from me?

Just to be clear, I'm NOT asking for commissions! I know many of y'all, unlike myself, are responsible with your money and don't spend it all on furry porn. Theoretically though, if you had to put a price tag on my art, what would it be?

My feelings don't hurt easily, so even if you think my art worthless, I want to hear it anyways.

Today marks exactly one year since I made my first piece of furry art! My art has come a long way since then, so thank you everyone that supported me and motivated me along the way to improve!

Let me preface this by saying, I understand who this FA policy is targeting, and I support FA taking action against them. I also understand the frustration for the people being affected that don't belong to this targeted group. The following isn't a rant it's a question.

So after reading the clarified FA rules it sounds like pre evolved pokemon are getting nuked from the site. They said no to "baby" pokemon, which I kinda get, but they also listed a few that are just pre evos "...Pokémon such as Cubchoo, Cubone, Torchic, Ralts, Eevee, and Gothita..." .

Seeing Eevee on that list surprised me. I thought Eevee was similarly proportioned to its evolutions but turns out, it's legs are slightly shorter. So does that mean if I draw Eevee with slightly longer legs, I can whip out the D? Or if I draw a lewd Jolteon with slightly shorter legs I have to delete my art? From my understanding yes to both.

From their explanation they are not explicitly targeting the pokemon themselves, they are targeting how much their body resembles their young animal counterparts. So if I literally just draw just the head of an Eevee, with it's body hidden, deepthroating a Lucario it should be fine.

My question is, are these two options going to be the only way I'm gonna see pre evos drawn from now on? Is my understanding of this policy change all wrong? I don't want to argue I just want clarification.

Just to clarify I don't think my gallery is going to be affected, but there's some great artists on here that I'd really rather not see go.

Wanted to try something a little different. Instead of asking for suggestions to draw, send me some of your favorite smut stories and I'll try to illustrate my favorite scene/scenes in it. Out of courtesy I'll ask the author for permission before drawing it and of course will credit their story in the post.

I'm mainly just trying to get the gears turning for new ideas and thought this was a fun way to do it.

I don't kink shame, so even if it's weird send it to me. I might actually even turn out to be into it too X3

Was extremely busy, but now I've finally found the time to draw again!

I still can't seem to keep a consistent art style but I've kinda stopped caring about that. I've decided to just draw whatever I think looks good in whatever style I feel like.

Lots of things I wanna draw now that I'm back, so I hope life doesn't get suddenly super busy again.

So I've been kinda slumming it as far the drawing software and tablet I use. I use Krita and a Huion Inspiroy H640P tablet.

I've been thinking about trying out different drawing software, but I'm not sure how much that would effect my art. Like is Photoshop or Clip Studio worth the price?

I also do want to upgrade from my budget drawing tablet for something with a screen preferably. I don't want to spend too much on a new tablet but also don't want to buy a trashy tablet that doesn't work/has lots of issues.

So I'm looking for any suggestions on both of these things. If you're an artist, know an artist, or have even just heard something about this topic, please let me know. Thanks!

First of all I just wanted to say, I really appreciate all the faves and watches. I would like to ask though, is there anything in particular that you like about my drawings? I don't want to seem like I'm fishing for complements, I just want to know what I might want to include in future drawings.

I also want to know if there's anything you dislike about my art. The last time I asked for criticism it really helped me out to get my art where it is now. However I feel like there are things I could improve on, so I'm looking for criticism once again to see where I can improve. I will take both positive or negative criticism but please just target my art, not me.

I don't really have any furry friends and don't share my art with any of my friends or family so I don't really get to hear feedback too often. So I really appreciate feedback whenever I receive any. Thanks!
