So it's been a while since I've posted ANYTHING over here, but I've got cool news... I'll be going to the EUROFURENCE con for the very first time! Only sucky part is that I can probably only go one day since all rooms have been booked already T__T unless someone here feels like sharing a room with a pink bunny?

X-men: Days of Future Past
Posted 11 years agoHeya everyone who reads this crap xD Yesterday I went to see the new X-men and it was great! No worries, I'll give some fair warnings before unleashing the spoiler goodness :P Superhero movies just keep on getting better and better, I have to say. They used to be entertaining movies already, but now the plot actually catches up with the hype. Can't say I've been disappointed by any of the marvel movies that came out the past year. The casting was simply MARVELous (get it? ) and then I'm talking about Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian Mckellen, Michael Fassbender especially!
Soooo, I might get into spoiler terrain from now on, everyone be warned!!
Seriously, scam, before you start crying ^__^
I love how they gave depth to all of the previous movies without just doing a blunt reset. By making this movie and this storyline happen, we get to enjoy all the characters from the previous X-men movies without having to do the dreadful exposition of every damn character we already know. So glad that everyone's alive and kicking again, and that there's actually a school in the future now, with Prof. X and also Jean Grey (and I couldn't give a damn about Cyclops really).
I liked the sentinels too, although I can imagine people are going to bitch that they look too different from the "real" sentinels. They did kind of resemble that one monster from the first Thor movie, but hey. They were pretty cool. Admit it! I also hope we'll get to see more of Blink, she's a supercool character with a supercool power.
As for the little snippet at the end, how cool is it that we're getting Apocalypse?! He is such a badass and also a very intriguing character. I'm already looking forward to it. I do really wish we could get an all-stars teamup with the Avengers, X-men, spider-man, FF... Man, that would be AWESOME!

Weekly recap!
Posted 11 years agoI'm thinking of doing this weekly journal thingy. I'm so not going to keep up with it. I just KNOW IT! But for Pete's sake, let's all pretend I am doing this on a regular basis, mkay? ^_^ So last week was pretty uneventful, to be perfectly honest. For those of you who don't know yet, I'm still in university, I'm supposed to be graduating this year. That means I also have to write a thesis, which I have worked on for quite some time already. You meet your appointed professor from time to time, he gives you some hints to push you in the right direction, you end up wrtiting more and more and more. Then you're 10.000 characters shy of your max. Crap. And still work is not done.
In other menial news, I've ended up taking my grandparents around shopping last friday. Woohoo! Only, not really. Spent a full work day driving around 'n shit, but I do it for them because they're awesome people. And truth be told, it's not all THAT bad! When you poke em the right way, they can be entertaining conversationalists. Just don't get 'em started on politics, oh boy! xD

Posted 11 years agoSooooo... I'm a slacker. I admit it! I am... A slacker! If I didn't have my good friend the BigFriendlyGiant ... My life would be a mess. So, I uploaded some new pictures and while I can't promise to upload new pictures every week or even every month, I'll try and write some journals to keep anyone who cares informed about ~moi~.
Anyway, time for cheery Elle again. FA, let bygones be bygones
On a sidenote, on this shoot I pulled a muscle in my neck, Bunbuns is becoming an old hag >_> Pulling a muscle apparently doesn't have to hurt, but this one has a weird side-effect: every time I stress that little muscle now I get dizzy and my balance gets completely thrown off. Kinda like being drunk, only less fun. Although I CAN say I made 3 loops today and didn't throw up like I would on a real rollercoaster. ACHIEVEMENT!!! *parties*
Okay, and that's it for today! *flops into bed*

Pictures removed!!
Posted 13 years agoSheesh! Some of my pictures were removed because they included "Illicit content" that was "Mature"... I suspect it was too much pink for FA to handle? What a shame, since there was nothing really wrong with the pictures in my opinion... So what do you guys think? Was I stepping out of bounds, showing of skin, errrrr, fur?
