Folks, haha, it took me all day to get logged back into all of my accounts. What have we become? I just spent five days in the wilderness eating nuts and berries and watching a den of foxes, it felt way more right. :D
I love tech, don't get me wrong, I get bored in too much nature, but holy shit so many screens. :D

I've been out of the country for months, sorry for the sudden vanish. Work stuff. I couldn't say much just had to go go go.

I was thinking about putting this brown bunny I've been working on, on there for sale to see if I can reach a new audience. But I see a lot of stuff selling for peanuts, and also, I see a LOT of AI art on there which is against their rules. Thoughts? Experiences?

Did any of you play 'quarters' as a kid? I was always oddly good at that game, although I've not played it in like 25 years now, haha.

So, I've been gone a while, partly because I needed to do a job, but also because when i got home i found a close friend of mine, from childhood, was BRUTALLY murdered. It was in national news it was so bad. She got married a few months ago to someone none of us knew, but he seemed fine at the wedding. Not that we could tell her what to do with her life anyway. But I guess he was a psycho and he slaughtered her and according to the police 'did things to the body'

I've seen a lot of death in my life, but it's never been someone I've known for 30 years, it was always 'them' or at best/worst someone I just didn't know. Knife fights, gunshots, etc, I've seen it all and felt warm blood that wasn't mine. But I keep replaying what she must have gone through, such an innocent and harmless and KIND person. If I could get my hands on that mother fucker. I can't even say. I feel sick every day thinking about how she must have felt, how confused she must have been by his actions. She loved everyone she made, I don't want to use the word gullible, but ever since we were 13 years old she just fell in love with everyone she met. FUCK.

At her funeral, they buried an empty casket under gravel, to give her family closure. The police kept her... remains. I think as evidence. He was keeping what was left of her in a cooler in his trunk I believe. He was captured in another state, and the state she was murdered in is fighting with the state that has him in custody. They both want him. Both states have a death penalty too.

I'm very sad right now, and very angry. But, there is literally nothing I can do about it. Just have to process and move on. I've never had a killing bother me as much as this, and I didn't even see it. Head is bit of a soup sandwich.

Otherwise, I'm healthy. I'm probably going to get back to work. Thanks to everyone, Pulling chocks.

EDIT REPLY TO EVERYONE: I don't want it to seem like I'm trying to get sympathy for something that happened to her and HER family. Thank you all of course. I've had close friends and brothers die in horrible ways before, but we/they knew what we were into. She was just a kind-hearted innocent musician who trusted everyone she met, and she died in her own home where she should have been safe with a person I know she loved even though they were a monster. I'm furious.

I'm going to take a break from commissions for a little bit, and focus on a Powderburn comic for a while. I'll probably try to set up a Patreon to fund it if people seem to like it, time will tell of course. Last time I tried to make a video game it crashed and burned pretty hard. Hopefully this will have more luck, haha :P More news soon!!

I loved how unapologetic is was for it's inspirations. So many people talked smack about it, but I all I heard was a whole lot of crits from people who ain't made shit before. I enjoyed a lot of it, and would like to see it edited and refined a bit more. The second episode was a lot better than the first, the first felt like it needed episodes like The Mandolorian, the second didn't feel like it needed that treatment. Dude liked some stuff, and made a thing with that stuff in it, felt like Metal Hurlant or Heavy Metal to me.

I play this little minigame with myself, where I want every image I upload to get a certain number of 'favorites' it's really all I care about, haha. BUT, I gotta say, I often don't meet my goals. A lot of variables seem to play as well, such as WHEN I do an upload, I'm guessing that has to do with if people are at work, or eating breakfast and browsing, or if they see it randomly on the front page. when i first started doing art, the front page 10 seconds was the ONLY way people found me.

I used to work for the government, so being super quiet about myself, my life, and what I do is sort of engrained in me, I've never been super personable but i've actively been working on that. Hopefully some of you have noticed how much more I try to interact and communicate with people than i used to. To 'socialize' if you will :P

ALSO, Starfield, I've been playing it. Some things have been better than I expected, and few things obviously weren't ready for launch, and of course the usual Bethesda bugs but man, like, really mostly been having a real good time with it. I'm surprised at how many types of guns there are, and the mods gon' be cray cray - I'm sayin'. Looking forward to it!!

And whoa - Prices on stuff here is getting insane. I'll be eating bark soon and using a bicycle to generate power for my home. :P Like a rescue ranger or something :D

I've been playing the heck out of Rimworld and really enjoying it, I loved the kind of apocalyptic future of space travel it paints. Do any of you play this game?

Also I bought a twin turbo porsche, now, this thing is pretty beat up and used, don't go thinking I'm rich, haha, but I'm tearing it down and going to turn it into an offroad baja desert racer. Madmax porsche is the plan. So that's a fun project I'm working on to reward myself for the insane job I finished last month.
