Today, I said goodbye to a great love in my life: My pet rat Desu.

A albino with a little brown tip on his nose and curious eyes full of innocence, he was three years old and lived a life of being spoiled with treats, exploration, and lots and lots of love. I didn't get to say goodbye, which hurts me, but I am comforted knowing he's now resting in peace. He was starting to succumb to hind leg paralysis this last month, and had lost a lot of weight, so it was for the best that he was put to sleep.

I still will miss him with all my heart, as I have my other two passed-on rats Oreo and Blackjack. Now I just need to take it day by day for a little bit till I can't remember anything but the fond memories.
