Posted 16 years agoIve found my muse, but I have very little time to draw! it's infuriating, so I'm going to try to spend tonight drawing, maybe Ill have new stuff up! :D who knows!
Busy Busy!
Posted 17 years agoI have a busy next couple of weeks to look forward to.
Recently (by recently I mean, around December :P) I went to Omaha to be with my boyfriend for Xmas. He proposed on Xmas day -grin- and we eloped about a week later in Texas. Yay me! Anyway, he's in the air force, and stationed in Texas, I'm in Canada (long distance!) so I've decided to start hauling butt down there to be with him!
... I Just have to say, packing and going through all my shit is frickn annoying. I have alot of stuff i didn't even realize I had XD. Art supplies I thought I lost, PC games, video games, stuffed animals etc.. yeah, Ash appears to be a pack rat XD!
I'll try to find more time to post some more stuff, but I make no promises, just bare with me faithful watchers! :D

Posted 17 years agoI'm looking over all the new art I've sketched. It's gonna be awhile until i post anything more, other than doodles and the odd blue print - before color, kinda thing. Hoping to get some work done over the weekend.

Sooo, I've come to the conclusion that I'm fat :\. Gawd. -pokes tummy, watchs it jiggly- whee!! lookit it go XD. .. -noms icecream ne way- =3 I can't help it. The Ice cream calls to me!
Work.. is interesting. I work in a daycare. I apologized to my mother the other day for being such a little terror when I was waaaay younger. She laughed at me. But seriously though. Theres this one kid that.. has this high pitched, nerve grating annoying tattle tale voice, and comes to me about EVERYTHING
"Assssh, he says cars fly but they dont..."
"Assssssshhhh.. the babies are playing with the cars and I was going to play with them but now i can't"
"Ash, he's not eating his grapes properly"
I love kids, don't get me wrong, But I'm not having them now :P

Posted 17 years agoSo last night, I'm coloring my Ashstrasza picture, with my beloved Prisma Colors when I start to notice something odd..
Every single one that i've sharpened so far, I've had to sharpen like.. a billion times because the lead has been shattered inside the pencil. This is both infuriating and alittle annoying concidering these things are worth 160$ in a set of twenty-something.
One of my delightful brothers had decided to borrow them for an art project.
What have i learned? No more art supplies for them! -hordes them all-

Ramblings
Posted 17 years agoOoo, my first journal! How exciting! I've been uploading like a crazy girl over the past several hours. This is just what I needed to get back into the art thing; I'm pleased people are actually viewing my artwork. I always seem to think what I draw is fairly crappy, but I think thats what almost every artist does. Self Critiquing, woo!
I've decided to try my prisma color's again, mostly since photoshop isn't being nice to me. I have no idea what i did to it, and it wont tell me. "If you don't know what you did wrong, I'M not going to tell you". :P oh photoshop. -sigh-.
Hopefully I can get a few more pictures up tonight before bed -crosses fingers-!
