My parents bought (well down payment) the house I was raised in back in 1963. Built that year, roughly same style as others on the block with minor variations here and there. Remodeled and expanded in 1980. We, as does anyone, grew up, grew older, and moved out. My mother was the last to say goodbye last Friday; signed papers and handed over keys to the real estate agent to prepare to put it on the market. Our home, 1963-2025.
I feel a weird sense of disconnect, of loss, even though I haven’t lived there for nearly 30 years and have a home of my own now. It’s not the physical and legal separation in that I can no longer go back there without trespassing but that I no longer have a physical grounding to the home base of my childhood and teenage memories.
And it really makes me feel…old.

Went to my doctor to complain about a mystery cyst, swelling, and some loss of flexibility in my knee. At first I thought it was a bruise or a ganglion cyst, nothing seemed anything like any infection I had before but no, it didn’t improve over the weekend, it developed differently. Turned out to be septic bursitis. Now I’m doing an overnight with an IV of a medley of antibiotics and surgery scheduled tomorrow(flush and drain).
I’ve photos but I think that goes against FA’s AUP.

To reiterate (aka copypaste) from what I posted in forums

volunteers below I will need them to select a number 1-10 then a number 1-48. First four responders will be chosen!

That corresponds to an image on my FA page. I have my own non-sequitur method so previewing images won't help, but to let you know the majority are cats or dogs.

After we see which one it is (I will have you reselect if we land on an image that is neither a photo nor a ref sheet) if you accept it we can discuss making an anthro version, ---or feral if you wish--. I keep NSFW art off of my page but other than that anything goes. ie two dogs chasing eachother could be lovers romping at the beach, or an Edwardian era bobby and a cliched thief. A cat in a shoebox could be someone in a homemeade circa 1950s bomb shelter or maybe the box will be remade as a car and they're draped seductively over it to get young toms to want that car.

If you don't like or don't feel inspired by the picture you get, you get one more reselect at random. You can take it, take the older choice, or we can defer the whole shebang to another artist.

I will then give you $40 (or less if you don't need that much.) for you to make the image in the medium and style you desire.

And $40 is my limit so if the photo you get would make an amazing $41 image in a style of yours ~shrug~
