Hey guys just letting you all know my page will get a bit quieter for the next few weeks. I'm having eye surgery on my dominant eye today, so I'll need some time to recover before I can get back to commissions. Hope to be back at it and better than ever soon!

I came through surgery perfectly and am recovering. To put it simply; the lens had to be removed from my dominant right eye. The eye itself is too weak to handle an artificial lens replacement. On an interesting note; that I can now see ultraviolet light with my right eye, much like famed artist Claude Monet, who painted white water lilies in shades of pale violet when he had the cataract lens removed from his left eye at age 82. Thankfully, a simple eyeglass lens corrects 99% of this effect for me, so white-furred patrons needn't fear turning purple. ^,~

I am healing perfectly so far, but it will be three to four weeks before I can update my prescription and get back to drawing at my current level of detail. Thank you all for your support, patience, and kind thoughts. I'm trying to remain upbeat and patient, but kind thoughts and prayers help keep my spirits up. Here's hoping I'll be kicking artist butt again very soon!

Hey guys

Not much to say for now. School's just keeping me very busy and I generally haven't felt inspired to draw much of anything since my last submission almost 3 months ago.

But hey--at least school is almost over! YAY!

But I still have a ton of schoolwork left still to do. BOO!

At this point, I'm really just kinda struggling to give a crap about 2 or 3 classes that honestly aren't really that interesting...but I'm almost done, so I can slug it out for a little while longer.

Hopefully the summer will see me doing more arts now that I'll have the time.

So where have I been? Busy selling what's left of my soul to the school, apparently. It's amazing how I'm not even halfway through the semester and I'm already feeling a little burned... But then, Sophomore year is supposed to be more challenging than the Freshman one.

What's sad is that I have some ideas for a few funny pieces bouncing around in my head, but lately I've been too brain-fried to really muster the urge to draw...

I wish I could produce stuff on a semi-regular basis like all the other great artists on here like Duo, Farelle, Bowrl, IntroducingEmmy and the like, but I guess I just can't. I'd also like to network more on FA here, since I know that's how you manage to get a bigger fanbase and a few more commissions, but keeping up with everyone's submissions on a day-to-day basis is just as hard as keeping up with my untouched Facebook profile. x.x

I'm really sorry these posts are so negative and depressing all the time. It just seems like I have to justify my absence somehow.

*hugs you all* I've realized there's something of a trend going with these journals - that the only time you guyes ever seem to hear from me is when I'm overworked and stressed out and for that I'm sorry. In real life, I am a very laid back sort of person. School is going fine even if it's been busy as heck these last few weeks but that's part of getting an education too. I -do- relax - mostly by chatting with friends on various MUCKs and hanging with my Bible Study group - so don't worry too much about me. n.n

I'm sure a lot of this also has to do with the cold weather we've had in Muncie, IN lately and that I have Reynald's(sp) Syndrome - which means the circulation is poor in my hands and they get cold very very easily.

And now I'm blabbering so I'll shut up. =^.^;= Hope you all have a good week - and yay October is here (almost!) which means only a month before I get to dress up like the Joker again and -not- be looked at like I'm a weirdo! <3

So, as some of you have probably noticed, I haven't submitted much in the past few months - or really kept up with many of the oh-so-talented artists I watch. I blame summer school (which, while interesting some of the time, is a buttload of work that more often than not leaves me emotionally and physically drained.) Ugh...

Anyway, just got on here briefly to tell you all that my toughest class (History 487: History of the Soviet Union) will be ending on Wednesday so I'll have a little more free time to draw (and maybe start writing again). My creative tank's a little on the low side, so if anyone has any ideas for stuff for me to draw, feel free to gimme a shout.

Oh, also, I'll be going to Memphis Fur Meet in Memphis, TENN come Labor Day weekend, so if anyone's interested in a badge or something, PM me and I'll see what I can do. I think it'd be fun to do badges, after seeing everyone else take a stab at it.

Dear Friends,

As some of you have no doubt noticed, I've been absent from here in terms of comments and submissions for a while now. To put it quite simply, college has taken over my life; over the past two weeks, I've had little time for relaxation and any art that I've done is always class-related (and takes so long that, by the time I'm finished, I no longer want to draw anymore).

At one point (before spring break, I'm sure) I was planning on trying to start some rudimentary form of a comic, but this dream was squashed (like so many others) as soon as I returned to campus, whereupon all my professors apparently found it prudent to dump a truckload of work on all our shoulders. To say that it's been a struggle to keep everything balanced (including my diet, exercise and sleep schedules) would be putting it kindly, but hey, that's what college is all about.

Besides, I only have 4 more weeks before I'm free (for a little while, anyway) and this week shouldn't be too bad. Just wanted to let you all know what I've been up to and that you can look forward to seeing more art more frequently in the future.

Also, a classmate of mine, Garrison Ringenberg died this past Saturday and it came as kind of a shock. The cause of death hasn't been released yet, but from those who saw him, it was apparently a suicide. I didn't know him from Adam, but from what I hear, he was a really lively and care-free guy and one of my friends is taking it rather hard. It's sad to see someone leave in the prime of life, but I know he's where God wants him to be so all I ask is that you keep him and those who knew and loved him in your prayers.

Hey guys,

I know some of you are probably wondering what happened to me considering I haven't uploaded any new art since before Christmas. In all honesty, I guess I do have some stuff I could show you, but it's all for drawing class - and they're all pictures of everyday objects... So, they're kinda boring. ^^;

It's times like this when I miss high school. Sure I have more free time here, but so much of that is taken up by homework and studying. x.x By the time I can actually draw, I'm too zonked out to try...Bleh!

*sigh* Oh well...maybe I'll have something to show you guys this week - maybe do a cheesecake to celebrate 600 userpage hits (seeing as I missed the 500 mark.)

Also, I guess the cold has a lot to do with it too...my dorm room's always freezing. x.x But at least spring's coming soon!

Hey guys.

Sorry I haven't been very active for a while in terms of posting any new art or commenting on any pieces lately... I've just got a lot on my plate.

College has its jaws locked around my neck like a vampire with a beartrap for a mouth (wow, now THERE's a in image I'll have to try to conjure up on paper sometime.) I working my butt off preparing everything and trying to keep my grades good - and the cold isn't helping things either.

Also, if you could, please pray for my family, as we were just informed that my Great Grandfather - who served as an army chaplain with General Patton in his battles against Irwin Rommel 'the Desert Fox' in North Africa during World War II - passed away a few days ago, just a few months after his 100th birthday. It hasn't hit me al that hard (I mean, he WAS 100 after all, so it didn't come as a huge surprise) but it's still a death in the family.

Add to all this the fact that my roommate is being something of a dork and it's getting to that time of year where even if you love the person you live with, they start to get on your nerves. And I DON'T love mine. -.- Just hoping I'll be able to come out of all this maddness with my sanity intact.

Yes, for those of you who may be wondering, I am still alive - I'm just extremely busy with college work at the moment... which is a shame because I haven't had the opportunity to go through and comment on all the art that's been submitted by the talented artists I watch. Nor have I had the time to go through their journals - much as I want to...

I guess school is just sapping me dry... x.x

There is one good bit of news, though; I recently got my camera working again, and I should have some free time this weekend to upload a few new sketches (even though some of them are by now a few months old... Oh well. Anything to keep my account alive, I guess.)

Maybe I'll get a chance to color some of them this weekend too... I really need some me time. (Though I'm sure the sudden, abrupt drop in temperature and the fact that my dorm has no heat hasn't been helping matters, I'm sure.) Frankly, I'm amazed I haven't caught the cold that everyone else on campus seems to be sporting - though I should count myself lucky in that regard, I guess. =^.^=;

Anyway, I think I'll sign off for now - I need to go eat something before I head off to Psych 100. Then it's back to the dorm for homework and speech-practice - I have to give a speech on George Carlin (one of my favorite comedians) tomorrow in my Comm 210D class, so wish me luck!

Meh, crappy/corny/cliche title, I know but I'm a wolf, darn it! >.<;

So... what's new with me so far this week. Well, I've taken up a martial arts class that's been pretty awesome so far (I have my second lesson tonight - hopefully it won't be too strenuous; I'm still very sore from Monday's.) Life has been going all right - college is stressing me out a little, but that's to be expected, seeing as I'm a freshman still learning the ropes.

At the moment, in between classes as I am, I'm feeling a little washed out and just wondering how I'll get done all that I need to today, but I suppose that will take care of itself if I just let it. It's a hard thing to do, but I know I have to try. I guess what I'm feeling is a sort of mild depression, but that might just be the typical 'Ugh, classes' type-feeling I get sometimes combined with thoughts of my sister and my general feeling of tiredness.

Hopefully, I'll do well on my short speech this afternoon and be able to relax after dinner, homework and kung fu.

Despite my bleh sort of mindset, I'm feeling artsy as well, so I may go ahead and draw something else to post tonight as well. I realize that this has been a rather pointless journal and some of you are probably scratching your heads and wondering why you bothered to read this, but it was just a way for me to try to empty my over-stuffed headbox. x.x

Yes, for those of you who may be wondering, no, I haven't shuffled of the face of the earth quite yet. ^^;

I've just been a very, very busy puppy for the last few months - and I've now found myself at college without a means to scan or upload any of the new art I've done since coming here. ;.; Oh well, I'm sure the library or some other place has a scanner I can use - I just need to find the time to go looking for it.

Life in general for me has gotten a little rough as of late. I'm finding it harder than I thought it would be to distance myself from the problems still going on at home. Also, my sister, who has been having side-cramps for the better part of two years, recently went to see a doctor about it and they ran some tests on her. The results came back saying that her problems were being caused by a swollen gallbladder, so she'll have to get that removed very soon.

Other than that, things have been going all right for me; college is proving to be a handful, it's true, but it's an enjoyable handful overall. I'm planning on trying my hand at kung fu via the local Martial Arts club, so that should be a fun way to get away from it all for a while. n.n

I do have some new art to show you guys, I just need to find a scanner or a camera around her to upload it with. Rest assured, you'll get something from me soon enough!

Sorry I've not gotten the promised pictures up yet guys, but it seems I still have a great deal of work to do even though I'm now done with high school. Last week was all preparations for graduation and such. Now it looks as though this week will be used primarily to prepare my place of residence for my open house...which means it's time for my mom to go crazy with worry about everything being neat and tiddy, like always.

I promise I'll throw something out here to keep you guys sated very soon though, so don't count me out yet! I have one piece that's very near completion, it's now just a matter of finding the time to finish it. ^^;

Okay, I realize it's been a rather long time since I've uploaded anything of any real worth (or commented on any of the art posted by all the talented furs on my watch list) but, like the rest of you, I have RL to deal with. And this past week, RL decided it was time to turn into a big bad slobbery beast (as it so often does nowadays...) so I've been trying to fend it off.

Today's been better though, and this weekend's promising more of the same, so I might be able to get 'round to posting something and catching up on all my missed comments and (most importantly) all the wonderful art that's been posted on here. ^.^

Hey guys, just wanted to share my good news with you all! I've been feeling really crappy today - finals have been draining me dry of my natural happy - and today was the worst day yet. I'd never felt so low...I just wanted to give up on everything.

Jamaris suggested that I go take a nap, and I decided to follow her advice. When I came back to the world of the living...I found my aceptance letter to Ballstate University had arrived!

Yup - I'm officially a college wuff now peoples! Wish me luck! =^.^=

Hey guys. Sorry I haven't been throwing out more artwork lately, but I've been very busy lately. While 'tis the season for joy and thanksgiving, tis also the season for an unparalleled stress-load for this wolf, who's had to deal with being a senior page editor his high school newspaper, taking a truckload of semester final exams...and of course, finding time to do the Christmas shopping (which I just got to tonight...)

Needless to say, as of right now, I'm a little pooped out (I'm surprised I have the energy to write this. What's wrong with me..? 0.o) I know I shouldn't be complaining - and really, I'm not - as I know some of you have it worse than I right now and I could be worse off. Rest assured, there WILL be some new art (and soon, by God) but exactly how soon I can't say.

I do have a few scraps I've previously felt were too mediocre to post here so what the heck? You all might expect to see a few of them popping up in the next few days, if only to keep my account alive for now! ^^;

To all those who might be interested in a comission/trade/gift or something, by all means feel free to gimme what you've got - just know that it won't be posted as speedily as they have been in the past for right now.

Yay - no skool for the rest of the week! n.n Now I've got more time for artings! I seem to be getting better by the month - did some avian sketches this week that came out looking pretty good!

In other news...It's time for Thanksgiving! - so make sure you all do something to show how thankful you are for those you lurve so much! n.n TURKEY TIME too!

Well, still no art to show - had a bit of a rough week what with my being on the school newspaper staff and all, but at least I did get two good things out of it yesterday.

Firstly, I got straight A's on my report card - which has NEVER happened to me before (I usually got shafted by math or something and ended up with all A's and one B)

Secondly, I also tied with another for the position of Senior class nominee for King at my school's Fall Dance this week. This, as some of you might imagine, left me rather surprised...as I would've been the last to have told you that I would be picked!

Heh...just hope it goes well tonight at the dance. Either way, I'll have fun! - besides, next week's only got THREE DAYS then freeeeeedom! n.n

Gah...no new arts in weeks.... x.x

Seems like my injuries are healing up well - my road rash is all but gone. Though I'm still plagued by a bad left knee that continues to give me trouble, so pray for my speedy recovery - I need to run so I can feel good! (Endorphines = HIGH ON LIFE)

this week has been rather bleh overall - mostly due to my lack of running and whatnot. I've felt rather lonely and depressed this week, but it's probably just a phase, as I feel pretty good right now. I should have a new piece or two up very soon, so be on the lookout! n.n Other than that, I've been doing pretty good.

Hey everyone - just wanted to stop by and give you all an update.

It seems fate has both frowned and smiled upon me at the same time...for I was struck by a car on Thursday, Sept 6th while I was out running for XC practice. Thanks to my concusion, I can't remember much - which is a blessing in some ways.

Now, before you all start freaking out, let me assure you, I'm just fine - well, I've got some rather nasty road rash on both shoulders and knees and I had a minor concusion when my head hit the curb, but other than that, I'm fine. In all actuality, I was really a lot luckier than a lot of people have been and I'm damned lucky that I recieved only the injuries I did. I'm just really REALLY sore right now, but I should be perfectly fine within a few weeks. ^^ I'm just glad that I wasn't more seriously injured - and that my hands have remained largely unaffected by all of this.

Anyway, just continue to pray for my speedy recovery - as this is keeping me from running and that's the one sport I'm actually good at! Also, pray that this whole mess doesn't come back on either me or my coach, who's a really great guy and I'd feel really bad if I somehow got him in trouble.

Well, school is upon me again, which means busy, busy, busy. *le sigh* Oh well...I've still got enough free time to get on here and tell you all what's up.

Not much to say actually...heh. *^^* I've been running Cross Country all summer and now that our season's started, I've got to focus on that (if you factor in school as well, I'm sure you can understand the delays in posting between artings, heh). Bottom line is I'll try to keep updating on a somewhat regular basis (as there is still stuff I owe to people, gah!) but I can't promise it.

I just want to take a second to say thanks to all of you who've been watching and faving me - I had no idea I would be so accepted! You guys really make all the effort I put into my projects really worthwhile and for this I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

As to how I've been lately...hmm, well, the truth is, I'm feeling a bit daring, so I might just throw out a few suggestive pics here and there - and maybe some violence as well, but I sorta doubt it.

*shrugs* Who knows? You guys could always gimme a suggestion or two and I'll see what comes of it. I'm always open and willing to listen. n.n

In other, sadder news, my friend RocRolDis's cat Kat died last week, so I know she'd really appreciate it if you could all pray for her as losing anything you love so much, especially a pet you've had for so long, is very hard. Also, she and her mate Jamaris are out at MFM right now, so pray that they have a good time and get back safely too.
