Explanation on Sudden Streaming Hiatus and What's Going O...
General | Posted 2 years agoThe following video provides an explanation on what's happening, why, and what I'm going to do going forward:
TL;DW:
My roommate angrily and threateningly confronted me about injuring one of his cats (the loud one you've heard in recordings) and put me in a panic about kicking me out immediately and branding me an animal abuser on Wednesday night. I emphatically deny harming his cat on purpose. I don't physically abuse animals or people for any reason.
But I am responsible.
I had to separate his cats as they were in an intense fight, but I was too careless and at some point during the separation, I slammed him against a hard surface, either my roommate's metal gaming rig or the hardwood armrest of the futon I deposited him on. Thankfully, after a trip to the vet ER, he only has soft tissue bruising that will heal on its own. And thankfully he isn't so traumatized that he fears me. In fact, the cat still enjoys and seeks my company, something I'm eternally grateful for.
In regards to my roommate, after we spent two days from each other, we managed to have a calm and understanding discussion.
I'm no longer in threat of losing a home or getting into legal trouble. We've apologized to each other and have resolved to be better to and for each other.
Big thanks to everyone who's reached out, offering help and support. It helped a lot, especially on the night itself. I'm going to stay where I am for now.
As far as streaming is concerned, I'm going to take the rest of March off and come back in April.

General | Posted 3 years agoSuper early to be postin' this now, but unfortunately, I have to work a gross-ass production shift today n' tomorrow--BUT YEAH IT'S THIS CUTEBOLD'S 29th BIRTHDAY TODAY WOOOOOOOOOOOO
The official celebration will be done over the next couple of days instead! On Sunday, November 13 (aka tommorow), I will be playin' n' streamin' the The Jackbox Party Packs! Open to the public for the games (with some light but necessary moderation, o'course) at the usual starting time of 4:00 PM MST! Voice chat will be limited, though. So hey, come hang out and play some sweet party games and even, possibly, design the winning Tee-K.O. shirt that I will buy at the end of the stream!
I'll also be playin', on Monday, November 14 at 4:00 PM MST, Mummy: Tomb of the Pharaoh, a super old n' super cheesy point-and-click game that is my absolute childhood-nostalgia favorite. This one is singleplayer, so its more of a bonus belated birthday treat. Still, I hope y'all will come out n' hang out for that one, too!
So yeah, while the official birthday day of today is gonna be spent workin' n' sleepin', I have belated fun for the official celebration planned out. 29 years on this Earth, LET'S FUCKIN' GOOOOOOOOOOO

General | Posted 5 years agoAs some of you have been made aware, either directly or through watching my streams at certain points, my life has taken a sharp downturn recently. It has been a few days since the event, as I have spent time collecting myself as well as taking many actions to course correct, but I will now put it all out for y'all to know:
On Tuesday, December 15, my car started overheating near the coolant tank to the point of smoke. After taking it to the mechanic after work, they informed me on Wednesday, December 16 that I would need to pay $8500 for a new engine. The head gaskets blew, but the entire engine is in horrible shape. Everything else is basically on the edge of falling apart and collapsing.
I obviously don't have this money.
Unable to pay for it, as not only is it too expensive but worth waaaaaay more than the used vehicle it was attached to, I had no choice but to get rid of it. And in the process, I've lost both my jobs as a delivery driver of newspapers and sandwiches. I won't lie: Both jobs barely kept me afloat to pay bills and little else. In less than 11 months, I beat that car to hell by putting a cumulative 50k+ miles on it. I can go on and on about many factors that contributed to that in addition, but at the end of the day the harsh reality is that it is unrecoverable and at least a portion of my fault to bear.
I have already made moves in searching for new job(s) as well as a replacement vehicle. However, undeniably so, I still need assistance in one key area: money. Money to pay for a new vehicle, and money to cover this month's upcoming expenses. I know I've already asked several times this year from all of you. I also know that this year has been hard on just about everyone, for similar situations to mine and due to the pandemic. Yet, I cannot do this alone, and pretending or acting like I can is not going to cut it. I am in dire straits and need whatever help any of you can provide.
everyone I am looking to raise $6000, which is to cover the cost of the car, the related taxes and fees, and bills for the month.
If you can help monetarily, you can donate whatever amount of money you can give directly to my PayPal, which I will link below. I considered doing a GoFundMe like with my car crash last year, but I'd rather cut out the middlesite (plus the fees are less in the end) for this one. The other way to help is to spread the word: I will post an journal on FurAffinity, a twitlonger on Twitter, as well as elsewhere soon. You can of course retweet and link to this and any of those posts to help spread awareness. Thank you.

27th Birthday Today

Considering Opening for Erotica Literature Commissions

zerocharisma) tell me n' encourage me that I could easily transition into n' get the groove of this, so: Would anyone be interested in commissionin' yers truly for erotic literature? It's a rather simply phrased question for a rather big leap, n' m'hesitant to make the jump without at least puttin' some feelers forth, test the waters as it were.

+I'd take around 2/3 commissions to start; don't want to be overwhelmed
+Commission process would be something like: acceptance-->discussion of ideas-->rough draft for approval-->payment-->final edited story
+Keep it to fetishes I know and prefer to start for the comfort of familiarity

I Quit My Job

It's official, too, as a few hours ago I dropped off the keys to the place back to the owners.
It's tough to fully explain in text, but long story short:
A large party's constant day-off changin' of plans at my restaurant resulted in me bein' scapegoated as the person who caused a problem I had nothin' to do with. My employer fired a new trainee out of the blue just to feel better about herself. N' then an argument between myself n' her lead to me n' the last remainin' kitchen worker walkin' out.
It's funny because my plan was to give a month's noticed n' be done on January 31, 2020. So I was out the door anyway. But man the fact it's over, especially so soon, is still emotionally numbin' n' bizarre. I put my heart n' soul into that place. I wasn't perfect, but I cared.
Job searchin' right now, obviously, but m'gonna take a few days to myself to collect my thoughts n' relax for a bit.

26th Birthday Today
General | Posted 6 years agoWOOT! WOOT! That's right, bay-bay! I have turned 26 years old today officially! Man it has been a crazy year's worth of time between this n' my last birthday.
2019 in particular has been one of my roughest years. I had the car accident that destroyed my car, which in turn spiralled into several additional problems: had to scrape together n' borrow a lot of money to buy a used car, which then put me in a real tight budgetary situation. That car, by the way, is now misfirin' in one of its cylinders--n' I don't have the available cash to go get it diagnosed n' then fixed. On top of that, on the upcomin' Thursday, I have the court date for the accident that led to all this in the first place--don't have the money to pay for that fine either, hooray! To compound upon everythin', work has been at its most MISERABLE than it ever has been, from toxic attitudes from coworkers n' owners alike, plus we went through so many employees, so many hours of wasted trainin'. Oh, n' let's not forget the threat of eviction scare was this year, too. Callin' this year rough is as understated as I can get, really.
But there's been good with the bad. I've been more social than I have in years, actually forgin' new friendships with excellent folks n', slowly but surely, reignitin' and tendin' to friendships I don't want to lose. My highspeed, high-powered streamin' computer is finally built and runs amazingly. Speakin' of which, m'finally investin' more time n' energy into my streamin'--m'no breakthrough Twitch star, but m'startin' to see better numbers as I drag myself out of stagnation. Plus, I even have a nice corner for streamin' in a better part of the apartment that virtually eliminates the worry of bein' a noise complaint. That's all definitely kept me sane.
This year is gonna end roughly, especially where money is concerned. But I definitely fought it all the way, n' made it to my birthday intact! Adds to the suck that I gotta work on this, my birthday, but eh... m'determined to stay positive n' happy throughout it, no matter what! After all, it is a celebration, n' m'gonna have fun n' celebrate... even if the more official aspects have to be delayed another day, haha!

Massive Changes To My Twitch Streaming

First off, let me be clear: I am okay. Despite all the stresses, problems, and just general things that have happened in my life, especially quite recently, I am still living, physically well, relatively healthy, and happy! A lot has happened that I will detail later in a massive update journal: I'll likely save that for a big, 2019-in-review journal near or at the end of this year. As far as immediate causes for concerns go, you can help me with my lack of a working vehicle problem I've recently obtained. That all being said, the reason this journal is titled as such is because all of the stuff I've had to deal with in the past 4 months, both major and minor, have forced me to restructure my stream and streaming habits. Not only that, a good portion of these changes are due to certain things going stale or becoming uninteresting, as well as having to make some sensible business decisions as my Twitch channel, as mostly for fun that it is, does have the ability to generate revenue for me. I've grouped together all the changes into itemized categories below. Some of these changes have already taken effect--ALL changes will take effect starting the stream on Wednesday, October 2, 2019. If there is something you know about my stream that you don't see listed here, that means that something is not changing.
1) The streaming days remain Wednesday and Thursday of every week, but the streaming time is now from 4:00 PM MDT to 9:00 PM MDT. This change is due to repeated noise complaints my late night streaming would result in. While I understand that many of us are night owls, myself included, and that many have gotten used to my more late night streaming, I can't risk being evicted from my home, nor risk my innocent roommate being guilt-by-associated with my own actions.
2) Permanent weekly streaming days are Wednesday and Thursday, but any additional days of streaming will be the result of serendipity. I've tried to add more days to stream, but the fluid and chaotic nature of working at a restaurant coupled with my obligations has made that practically impossible. If I stream more, it'll be because I could that day and not because that day is not a permanent part of the streaming schedule.
3) Rather than at the beginning of the stream, announcements will instead be read aloud during the break in the middle.
1) My custom built gaming computer will finally be completed, for certain, by the end of September. This custom PC is exclusively for the stream, so games will run smoother, crisper, and more efficiently for recording. The first stream of October will be the maiden use of this new PC
2) The following equipment will be purchased and added to the stream over time, starting in October: a new microphone, a new gaming chair, a new recording camera, a CRT console gaming setup, a LCD console gaming setup, soundproofing floormat and an Elgato StreamDeck.
3) My streaming setup will be moved from my room out into the living room area in its own custom-built, cubby-like area. This will help localize my noise away from windows and from adjacent bedrooms in other apartments, as well as give me a larger, more comfortable space to stream at and in.
1) Singleplayer blocs will consist of two games: one is a permanent, curated rotation of very popular games that I like but also draw in views (the "business" game); the other is a game of my own personal choosing or one I became interested in from suggestions in my Discord (the "for fun" or "cuz I wanna" game)
2) The business game will always be streamed on Wednesdays. It currently consists of these three games: _Minecraft_, _Pokemon Trading Card Game Online_ and _Super Mario Maker 2_. The games rotate amongst themselves per singleplayer bloc: for example, in one singleplayer bloc it'll be just _Minecraft_, but in the next singleplayer bloc it'll be _Pokemon TCGO_, etc.
3) The for fun/cuz I wanna game will always be streamed on Thursdays. These games can either be a collection of short games (like how in the upcoming October singleplayer bloc the Thursday streams will be different short horror games) or one long game.
4) A new Discord server role exclusive to the singleplayer bloc will be created: Guest of the Game. If the game I play on Thursdays is one I picked from game suggestions, then the person who initially made the suggestion will be made Guest of the Game. With this role, that person is allowed to join in the in-stream voice chats on days where I play the suggested game. This role does not apply if the suggestor is already an official Lil' Bastard, and lasts for as long as it takes to complete the game in stream.
1) Multiplayer blocs are now a 'permanent' list of five games, each given a week of streaming (or two total streaming days) to play. Those five games are: _Golf With Your Friends_, _Armello_, _Garry's Mod_, _Skribbl.io_ and _The Jackbox Party Packs_
2) An additional sixth week in the multiplayer bloc will be a "Bro Bro Vs." week where myself and
bodyoftemptation will go 1v1 in a game or series of games. These weeks can be multistreams between our two channels, as well. Where this week falls in the multiplayer bloc depends on when BodyOfTemptation's days off line up, as his work schedule changes weekly versus my more permanent work schedule.
3) Polls will no longer be conducted to vote on what games should fill a multiplayer bloc, nor will new/potential games for the multiplayer bloc be tested in stream. Polls may be conducted on what games can/should be played for the Bro Bro Vs., however.
3) While this list is 'permanent', games can be swapped out if one becomes too boring and/or a much more interesting multiplayer game comes along that everyone would like to play.
1) Break segments are being shelved for now due to lack of participation and, frankly, becoming boring. Breaks will now just be quick 15-30 min. moments of announcements and recuperative downtime.
2) Between each gaming bloc will be a transitional week where I will stream more creative, non-gaming content.
3) On one of the creative week stream days CAN be a Terrible Paint.net Shop Marathon, which will be a multistream between myself and bodyoftemptation. On his stream he will do TPnS head commissions, while on my stream I will do bad shops of group photo images using said heads. The TPnS Marathon stream is also where the former TMI Q&A and Dramatic Reading break segments will go to make it livelier and more fun. Whether or not one of the stream days is a TPnS Marathon depends on if BodyOfTemptation's work schedule allows for that.
4) The other creative stream day (or both days, if applicable), I will bring back the Worldbuilding & Loremaking stream from the old Skully After Dark Days. It will feature me developing my D&D4e world of Testria, and opens the homebrewing up to immediate feedback and critique from you, the viewer. This also forces me to finally finish all that up so I can finally get the D&D4e game I've promised my players for far too long now.

I Need Help

On Sunday, August 18, 2019, I was in a car accident that turned my old 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport into a total wrecked loss. I am okay physically (no injuries of any kind), but that vehicle was my only car. To put it bluntly, the financial situation I find myself makes it extremely difficult to afford or finance a new car of any kind, used or off-the-factory-floor. Even the surprisingly good total loss reimbursement I will get from my auto insurance won't be completely enough. If anyone reading this is willing, I need help to fund enough money to buy a "new" used car.

I will, of course, be completely honest about the accident: occurring at approximately 10:35 AM in the intersection of 23rd and Uintah, it was my fault. I went to grab a pen I had dropped between my legs and, in the split second I had my eyes off the road, closed the gap between myself and another vehicle too tightly to brake or swerve on time. Luckily, no one was injured by the experience, and the physical vehicular damage was far worse to my car than to theirs. The police were indeed called, with whom I was completely honest with and served a ticket for my actions. I want to be completely open and transparent about the accident: no excuses, no falsities.
Thankfully, the reimbursement for the total loss of my vehicle is incredibly good for my old car (a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport). In fact, it is so good that I will use this sentence to recommend USAA to anyone in the United States looking to obtain or switch to for auto insurance. However, it is unfortunately not enough to completely cover the costs of purchasing a "new" used vehicle. I have actually never used a credit card my entire life, thus my credit score is too low for any major dealerships to accept for financing or any banks to accept for loaning, and I cannot be naive or desperate enough to turn to the legal loan sharks that are quick cash/quick loan businesses. And quite frankly, I am too poor to try to buy or begin a payment plan for a new, factory-default vehicle, either.

Honestly n' truly? It means a lot to me that the stuff I commissioned, the personality/attitude I've presented on this site, my streaming, the tiny fraction of posts I've actually created myself, or any combination of those is attractive enough that 1000 of ya wanna stick around n' see what I upload n'/or do next. 1) Apparently we're finally gettin' somewhere with the second restaurant after months of cockblockin' by beauacracy! While I don't believe it'll be open this soon, the owners plan to open the second restaurant by eithert June or July 1st of this year. Which means I will hopefully actually become an executive chef and sign for my salary sometime this year. Excitin'!

General | Posted 8 years agoAlmost forgot, but I remembered! I remembered!!!
1) The toenail itself is takin' a while to grow back in proper, but overall my right toe has healed up really well! No longer bleedin', n' I can wear normal, closed-toe shoes n' socks again.
2) Got a really good plea deal on the speeding ticket that I had to go to court over from the last update journal. Points were reduced to 1, fine reduced to $285. Was in n' out in an hour. Just wish I didn't have to show up so goddamn early in the day, uuuuuuugh
3) Had someone from the restaurant I work at quit right before Valentine's Day, one of the biggest days of the year in terms of traffic n' profit. Suffice to say it made V-Day exponentially more difficult to manage. So that was fun, n' by 'fun' I mean 'hot fuckin' garbage n' I hope that person rots in hell for abandonin' his co-workers at the worst time for a paper-thin reason'.

1) Due to recent troubles with delays n' audio glitches from the capture software, I have moved back to the original Open Broadcaster Studio from Streamlabs OBS as my capture software. Streamlabs OBS has some neat concepts and handy dandy fusion elements, but it is in beta n' needs to work out all its issues n' bugs before I ever go back to it again.
2) Alongside point 1), I have also made minor changes to the Discord server. Due to bein' taxin' on the capture software, my internet connection, n' the server on Discord's end, I have reduced the max limit on the Multiplayer Extravaganza! channel from 15 to 10. Town of Salem is the only multiplayer game we'll play that even reaches 15 anyway, so the reduction is justified n' will not affect yer ability to jump in n' play with us when we do multiplayer games. I have even givin' Town of Salem its own voice channel maxed at 15 to compensate, as well.
3) Points 1) n' 2) are preventative steps to prevent what m'about to talk about from happenin' in the future: the most recent Skully Redemption Arc as well as last week's The Jackbox Party Pack stream have horrible delay n' audio quality, due likely to the problems mentioned above in 1) n' 2). As such, they will not be reuploaded to the Youtube. Sorry in advance!
4) Rebrandin' will be happenin' soon, as m'workin' closely with stream artist bodyoftemptation to make it happen! We're talkin' stream overlay, logo, channel banner, n' channel icon all in-house in one style! There is even talk of merch on the table!!! ... But that won't happen for a while yet.
5) Voted on by followers like you, our gamin' blocs are now expandin'! Singleplayer blocs will now feature 3 games instead of 2, whereas multiplayer blocs will feature 4 games instead of 3. What an amazin' deal!!!

Skully Update Journal: January 2018
General | Posted 8 years agoHey look, I didn't forget this time!
1) So I've been dealin' with weird wound issues after stubbin' my right big toe back in August 2017 where it was just healin' slow n' wrong. Boss finally convinces me to go look at it (she was my ride n' she covered the costs in full), n' it turns out it was a MAJOR in-grown toenail problem. Doctor is able to cut and pull the in-grown nail on the right side with ease, but the left side comes out in chunks n' is buried so deep that he has to go diggin'. Sufficed to say, my toe looks like a gross, bloody cavern buuuuut at least it is now healin' for real. Once it heals fully m'gonna go back n' have them check out n' take care of the left big toe before it too becomes a problem.
2) Pretty sure I was singled out here, but near the end of the month I was drivin' down a road that has a speed limit of 35 MPH. Other drivers are also maintainin' this speed alongside me. A cop then turns a street corner n' immediately pulls me over. Says I was speedin' in a School Zone. I see neither that flashin' sign dictatin' an active school zone, nor see other drivers slowin' down. On top of that, the ticket states I have a mandatory court date on 02/20/2018. I plan to go back to where I was pulled over (at the exact time I was pulled over) n' take photos n' videos to see if I missed a clear indicator, but overall it is frustratin' that this has happened. So dumb.

Scraps is where all of my archival promo images for my streams will go, in case people like n' wanna favorite those goofy, silly things. All I do is terribly paint.net shop them, though--all the head art is done by bodyoftemptation, so make sure ya give him yer love as well~

(a) Overall - Because they're done so late, keep Skully After Dark to half the length of the usual, scheduled stream--so 2 to 2.5 hours. When possible, move 'em to an earlier time slot. Limit them to 1 per week, only do 2 in a week for a special occassion.
(b) Game Testin' Marathons - Keep the test games to 1-2 each
© Worldbuildin' & Loremakin' - Consider gettin' a speech-to-text program. Get audience more involved in givin' feedback n' input.
3) The Youtube channel is live! Currently it is only for reuploads of the streams n' their segments, as Twitch doesn't have a permanent or spacious archive. Skully Update Journal: End of 2017
General | Posted 8 years agoI say m'gonna make this a regular thing n' then I go n' skip a month, go figure. Well m'not missin' out on this, the final day of 2017 n' thus the final update journal of 2017! So there's that.
1) Another work schedule change, who would've thought!? We're enterin' the slow season over at my restaurant, so we're closin' for lunch on Mondays thru Thursdays. As always, times are in MST (Mountain Standard Time), n "Close" refers to any time after 9 PM MST that I have to stay for cleanup.
Sunday - 9 AM to close
Monday - 5 PM to close
Tuesday - 4 PM to close
Wednesday - day off (laundry day)
Thursday - day off (streaming day)

1) Work schedule has changed since last time! Here's my new work schedule so you can have an idea of when m'available. Remember, all times are listed in MST (Mountain Standard Time), so make sure you convert 'em to yer timezone for accuracy! "Close" refers to any time after 9 PM MST that I may have to stay to finish up cleanin'.

General | Posted 8 years agoSo other than the weekly stream promos n' the three new pics I just uploaded to my gallery, I realize I haven't really been keepin' people pretty much in the dark on where I've been n' such. So, for those who care n' are interested, here's a big, massive megajournal with all the updates so far:
1) Moved out my one-bedroom apartment n' into a two-bedroom apartment with a roommate. While not a furry, he's a coworker at the restaurant m'workin' at whom I've known pretty much since I started workin' there. He's pretty chill n' we're livin' amicably together! He also has two cats who are adorable n' annoyin' at the same time.
2) Currently livin' check to check. While m'doin' so within limits n' comfortably, I basically have no real cash to spare on luxury n' hobbies outside of my Twitch channel.
3) As a result of 2), had to drop my Patreon support of both immelmann n' quetzadrake in order to stay afloat financially. This is temporary, n' I hope to be back to supportin' them as early as November.
4) Currently in line to be promoted to executive chef with a guaranteed, contracted salary of $40K/yr. On top of that, I've even been secured a pension plan through the restaruant due to my 7 years of service.
5) Electrical engineerin' has been shelved for now as my career path, due largely to both my financial situation n' the lack of opportunity where I live now.
6) As of this journal, my current work schedule is listed below. All times are listed in MST, n' "CLOSE" stands for any extra time after 9 PM I have to spend at the restaurant cleanin' n' closin' up.

So if you want a head of yer fursona/faceclaim/real life head/etc for me to terribly paint.net shop, hit bodyoftemptation up for a sweet commission! He also occasionally offers them for free in stream, so keep an eye out for those chances as well.
5) Speakin' of my bro bro Nick (BodyofTemptation), he was recently affected by hurricane Irma with damage to his home, loss of car, n' loss of laptop. There are plans in the work to do a donation drive for him durin' the streams. Stay tuned for more information on that.
