Personally, I've been on the internet long enough to know that the vast majority of the content on the interwebs is stuff I couldn't give two shits about or content that completely doesn't interest me at all. What do I do? I just ignore it. To me, this seems like "duh" logic, but having seen so much griping, I really think it needs to be said.
You do not OWN the internet. You are not privileged or entitled to a brand of internet that is custom tailored to fit you, your needs and your interests while completely disregarding the interests of others. The internet is, for the most part, not policed. Therefore, by going on the internet, you are basically and consentually signing an unwritten agreement that states that you will subject yourself to the biggest information advertisement in existence--the internet itself--and agree that you are entering a mostly-unpoliced library of information that has not been pre-filtered to screen for only things that you like while simultaneously filtering out everything that gets under your skin or that you don't want to see.
Get over it, honestly. Who gives a fraction of a fuck about bronies and bronyfags. I don't. By griping about it, you're giving these bronytrolls exactly what they want--a reaction to their laughably puerile and juvenile faggotry. You're giving them more of a reason to thrust bronyism in your face whenever they can. So really, stop flooding my journal with your bronytastic rants and shut the fuck up. Seriously. Need Time Off
General | Posted 14 years agoSome of those who are close to me are probably already aware of this, but very recently my mother passed away. I initially thought I had enough coping resources to deal with such a tremendous loss, but it turns out I don't. With each passing day it just gets worse and worse. There's this gaping hole of utter despair and depression in the most integral part of my soul, and it seems no matter how many drugs, bottles, razor blades or distractions I throw at it, nothing's going to change this. I will be back as soon as I can learn how to wake up in the mornings with a smile on my face once again. Sorry guys,

I'm about 2 months behind where I thought I'd be at this point, namely because of an imminent death in my close, immediate family and the associated medical bills, and also that I wont be getting my new tablet until the 2nd week in June, or so my S.O. tells me. I'll keep everyone updated. No, I'm not dead. I haven't forgot about this. Once I get my tablet back, I'll do nothing but work on this piece until it's finished or my fingers fall off first.

Stuff's taking longer than expected on all fronts because of moving, my new job, getting settled into my new apartment, bills, and life! I lost some important notes so before I start inking the characters that aren't mine, I need everyone to send me notes about anything that needs to be changed (I know there were one or two people that had something special--even if it's something I do in the color phase, I still need it re-noted to me). Much appreciated.
I'll probably get started inking sometime after this coming week when I have an internet connection again--right now I'm using cyber cafes or leeching off a neighbor's wireless (which isn't always there for some reason).
I'll also be getting a new computer next month. Yay! Also, if you haven't already, please check out the Tastyfurs group Jelli and I are putting together and please show support of the fabulous characters and artists therein. Thanks everyone! I love you all. I hope you all are having a good spring so far. <3

General | Posted 15 years agoAlright guys, so here's what I've got. I apologize for how slow I work. I know it sucks, but I just don't have the skill, patience, tenacity or speed that lots of the more talented FA artists got. Meh, maybe someday. Also, I'm really sick right now with a throat infection or something. I'm not entirely sure what it is, like, my glands are swollen and it hurts to swallow, I feel really tired and a bit warm, but other than that, nothing else seems to be problematic. I really, really hope I don't have to see a doctor. I fuxxin' hate doctors and I don't trust 'em. Not one bit. At least school is canceled on account of Nature making frosted vanilla layer cakes out of the ground virtually everywhere. Oh and guys, if you live in one of these cold, snowy areas like I do, please, please be careful when walking, driving, etc. Your life is more important than where you have to get to, even if you're in a rush. There was a story in the news a few days ago about an elderly woman who went outside three nights ago, slipped on the ice, fell down, couldn't get up, then froze to death in her driveway at night. That story made me cry for like a half hour thinking about the terror and fear and pain she must have felt before death. But I mean seriously guys, I love all of you, so please be safe and don't take risks, OK?

COMMISSIONING ASTRAL
The first thing to note is that I'm better at drawing boys, but I will draw tits/vag/herms and the like. I use a combination of SAI and PS (whichever I'm feeling most inclined to use at the moment) and an Intuos 4 Wacom tablet. There is an agreed upon set of rules which both I (the commissionee) and the commissioner will follow upon entering a commission with me. These rules and regulations are outlined below and are subject to change at any time.

I. PAYMENT
◈Under no circumstances will I ever begin work on a commission when full payment has not been received before the job begins.
◈Payment is held in Astral Escrow until the job is completed in the event that full/partial refunds must be awarded (see section VI. Refund Policy)
◈When Paying, leave only your FA name; do not make any mention regarding the commission itself, the job at hand, or the type of commission.
◈Online money transfer only; I will not accept cash or check by snail mail.

IV. COMMISSION APPLICATION PROCEDURE
◈Commission slots will be opened and closed via my journals only.
◈Only leave a comment only the commission journal; DO NOT send me a note.
◈No reservation spots. You are awarded a slot once payment has been made.
◈Once a commission is approved, we will begin a step-by-step process to undertake your commission. This process is outlined as follows:
Commission Process
A) To approve a commission, leave a comment on this journal in which you indicate you are interested in a commission. Fill out the following short form so I can see what it is you may have in mind:

Brief Description of Your Idea for the Commission:
ALL refs materials and notes:
B) If approved, I will send you a note verifying your details and data. At this point I will give you the quote/price estimate of the commission and answer any additional questions you might have.
C) You reply to me affirming the details and then you make payment to the address you are given.
D) I sketch the drawing once payment is received. Then I will note it to you. You must state ALL corrections at this stage before I proceed to detailed inks. You the commissioner are responsible for reviewing the whole drawing and making sure everything is satisfactory. I am not a mind-reader; I can't possibly know if there will be a slight little detail you will become dissatisfied with later down the line--then you will have to live with it. If i see something that I know I must fix i will note you of the correction. Once you give the okay to this NO MAJOR CORRECTIONS will be made to lineart.
E) If your commission is not a colored commission, you will be send one final version where minor edits can be made.
F) Coloring (if applicable) is commenced the second I receive word that there is no more minor addendum to be made to the lineart. Once coloring is done I will send a preview and you may point out any color tweaks you deem appropriate.
G) With the colored version OK'ed, I will send you the full version to your e-mail and to your note box. I will post it to my FA account with my personal watermark. Unless otherwise indicated, I do not mind at all if you repost it provided you link to the original submission.
V. DOES & DON'TS
◈ Like indicated above, you may repost your commission provided you link back and give credit to me, the artist.
◈ You may use it personally however you see fit in a non-commercial manner.
◈ You may not claim credit for the artwork under any circumstance.
◈ You may not sell the artwork or use it for a commercial enterprise.
◈ You may not remove my signature/watermark from the image.
VI. REFUND POLICY
◈ At anytime I reserve the right to drop your commission and I will refund your money in full.
◈ You may cancel the commission at anytime. If I have already begun the commission at the time of the cancellation, you will receive only a partial refund.
