Posted 14 years agoI've split up with my boyfriend.
All of my fiddler crabs are dead (4 total.)
I've decided not to purchase anymore. Obviously I am doing something horribly wrong.
Also I have not been drawing much lately at all.
Been playing a lot of WoW.
Still haven't found the place I'll be moving into in June, because my mom thinks that the apartment I CHOSE, and like, is too inferior.
So yeah.

Posted 14 years agoSo my fiddler crabs are dieing. :\
Kingler and Krabby are both dead now and all that's left is the little girl.
It was the strangest thing, all their legs started falling off and were scattered all over the tank.
I don't know exactly why that was happening, I don't think it was from them fighting with eachother. It didn't seem like they ever fought, just waved their claws around until someone scurried away.
I looked up on it and it said it could be doing that from stress, probably from the move.
I'm not sure though.
I've tried cleaning out the tank entirely, replacing the sand with fresh sand, brackish water, a bowl for fresh (de-chlorinated water), etc.
But, I don't really want to get any more crabs unless I'm sure of what the reason is.

I haven't talked to my Landlord since he verbally attacked us in the driveway on my way to work a few days ago.
This past week has been spent moving into my temporary place of living, a small bedroom in my mom's boyfriend's house.
I'll be living here till June, where I will hopefully be moving out to Madison and getting my own place. That's the plan, and I want to stick to it.
I am very stressed out right now, my gastritis is acting up, my sleep schedule is out of whack, and I have migraines constantly.
There's a plant growing in my closet. ;___;

So as I was leaving for work today, the landlord approached us, yelling and chewing us out of course.
Demanding that we pay rent AND the 300$+ for utilities (because apparently, we owe him 300$ in utilities now.)
My mom started getting defensive, telling him that not once did he bother to tell us that we were running up a big utility bill. (because we never actually see the utility bills.)
His response to that was "I am not a fucking babysitter". Seriously, guy?
You are a -LANDLORD- meaning it is your fucking -JOB- to tell your tenants if they are doing something wrong.
So now apparently he wants to take us to court, because we're not going to pay rent.
AND, we are moving -THIS WEEKEND-, which means I have to start packing shit tomorrow.
So, things are going to be extremely hectic and disorganized for me for a while.

Posted 14 years agoJust a quick update.
A few days ago we left a note for our landlord giving him our 30 day notice, that we would be moving out by May 1st.
Tonight, he gave us a note (or what looks more like a form) saying that we have to pay the 650$ rent, and be moved out by April 13th.
And that it is apparently illegal to skip out on rent.
But if I'm not mistaken, it's also illegal to violate a contract (that all three of us signed.)
We are moving out BECAUSE he violated that contract.
It clearly stated on that contract (and in the ad we responded to), that heating/water/electric was included in our rent. And we pay 650$/mo (for a 1 bedroom upstairs of a house.)
But April 1st, he gave us a notice stating that he was going to tack and extra 200$ onto our rent, because of the heating/water/electric bill.
Instead of just TELLING us that we use too much, he is just going to try and force us to pay extra.
He goes on to say that we are not allowed to park in the parking lot (even though it was agreed when we signed the contract that we would always have a one car parking space.)
And that we have to park in the street.
He then mentions in that same note, that the road is being torn up and worked on during the summer, starting every day at 7am.
So basically, we can't park in the driveway, we can't park in the street.
He is just TRYING to chase us off.
For no reason.
We are awesome tenants. We always pay our full rent on time every month, we barely make any noise. We never bother him for anything, ever.
We keep the house tidy and clean. (Though, since I work nights, I am usually up until 3am every night. Sometimes I don't get off of work till Midnight on some nights.)
So HERE'S THE PLAN:
-Move out ASAP. Not paying rent.
-Going to go stay at my mom's boyfriend, Perry's, place for a month. Gonna save my money up.
-Going to move out of Perry's by June 1st, moving from Oconomowoc to Madison.
-Going to find a place to stay with my little brother (18 years) and maybe his girlfriend (also 18 years), because they'll be going to college in that town.
This could be a very hard, long, and draining process for me.
So please forgive me if I cannot find the time to work on commissions.Commencing Gallery Clean Out

The Wacom Intuos3 Tablet that 
lucidillusion gave to me, is fried.
My cat knocked over my fiddler crab's little 1/2 gallon tank and spilt water all over it.
It wont turn on anymore when I plug it into the computer.
So I'll be using my old bamboo tablet, it might take me a little while for me to get used to using again.

I'm being forced to move, again.
We've only lived here for like.. what, 3-4 months?
Our landlord, the guy who lives in the downstairs of this house, is pissed because apparently we use too much electricity. (even though we signed a contract saying that utilities were included in our rent, and we would also -always- have our own parking spot in the driveway.)
But now suddenly he wants to tack another 200$ on our rent because of the electricity. And has disallowed my mom from parking in the driveway.
He also goes on to say that during the summer, there will be construction on the road starting every day at 7am. Which means she wont be able to park in the street, either.
He is pretty much trying to chase us off.
So we're going to try to find another place to live. But the pickings are scarce, and we're deciding not to pay our rent this month, and hopefully find a new place by the end of April.
I hope this works out. This guy really kind of scares me, and I've had so much trouble with invading landlords in the past. (the kind that think they can just waltz into your place whenever they want to just because they have the key.)Updated Refunds

Posted 14 years agoI deleted the previous journal I made.
(Only because I've made my decision, and I'm not changing my mind. Please understand this.)
I am going on a possibly long-term hiatus from FurAffinity, as most of you should know. And I will not be offering commissions.
And I will also be removing everything that I currently have posted in my gallery.
I am offering refunds to most of my old commissions, as you can read here:
