Things have changed!
Posted 4 years agoAs in, things are pretty different in my life. New art program, new brushes, new tablet. So while I'll do my best to keep to my style and overall tone of past adopts, I can't guarantee things will be a 1 : 1 ! Which isn't too different since this account has been pretty much on the experimental side of things, but be assured my effort to make customers happy is always being going to stay true!*Flails from Inactivity*

How often should I release egg batches?

I don't really have much of a schedule as so much as a " when eggs are bought up I supply a new batch"
But do you guys want more of a fresh flow of whenever inspiration hits?
I tend to make them all a bunch at a time ( like 3 or 4 of them) and then like I mention I just release them when the egg count gets low on the account. But Send me feedback! :DNew Egg Base/Batch!

Posted 10 years agoI changed up how ordering an adopt works. Hopefully everyone will be happy with it. I'm still fiddling.
It looks like I actually have like 3 egg batches I previously did and I just haven't released them so I might in the near-ish future! update?

I'm really busy with finishing up my film so I haven't had much time to devote to commissions, much less this account.
I'm not abandoning this account though, so please don't fret about that!
I'm still thinking of ways to help please both myself and the customer. I'm thinking of providing different options in style when someone commissions to help.
While almost all the work in my gallery is outdated, the three categories I"m thinking of having are
Toony | Anthro | Realistic
Along with choosing Feral or Anthro you could choose between a different style. I know my range can be a bit wide so it's a bit nerve wracking as to which you might desire. Of course I'd be happy to just wing it and go with whatever happens.

There may be new changes to this account, there may not. It really depends on how I'm feeling. As fun as these are they're not exactly paying much compared to my actual commissions.
I may also dabble in some pre-made adoptables as well.

I'm a little unsure what to do.
if anyone wishes to claim an egg. I may let them do so but they will have to wait until summer break in order for me to draw and fill out their order. Not very useful for anyone in my opinion.
So just a notice.

Future changes to come

This probably won't happen for a while, but I figure it's good to give a warning of sorts.
Firstly, I notice most of my eggs are being snatched up super quick by one or two people in general. I'm not complaining in the slightest as I'm so very grateful when anyone buys an egg, but I also think I should probably help other people get a chance too. :D
So to combat this, I'm putting a few more eggs per batch! So instead of 4 eggs, there's now 6. So now there's more variety per batch!
Secondly, the way eggs are bought is going to be a little different now! When you buy an egg, now the default option is a complete surprise. Though adding a few more dollars ( about +$2) you can tell me details of what animal, gender, or what have you!
I think that's all for now on changes, but if there is anything else I'll be sure to let you guys know. :D
For now don't worry about the changes too much, as they won't take into effect until the new batches of 6 eggs start up.
Also I will try to play around with options for people who can't afford the new prices of eggs. ( Which will be around $7.25 and $9.25 respectively) With maybe pre-made options or simply more raffles.

So, while I love my egg accounts and commissions I find myself in a little bind for money. I won't give you a sob story or anything, but I'm sort of wanting to raise my prices.
How much you might be asking? I'm not so sure really. Ideally I would love to charge about $12.50 an egg but I don't want to destroy what user base I have.
I thought about raising the "quailty" of sorts but if I were it would loose that great sketchy quality that I think the adopt charm brings.
So I thought about maybe having the egg batches as auctions instead, starting price at either $5 dollars or the usual price of $6.25 with maybe an autobuy of somewhere in the $12.50 or $15 mark
The only problem with that is I have such little luck with auctions. Them tending to last a lot longer than I want them too and if I'm lucky getting two bidders.
Since you guys are the ones who will buy, what are your thoughts on the matter?
What do you guys prefer? I do want to raise prices, and they probably will in the future either way but what do you think is the way to do it?
