Furry Dream - Pile of Cuteness
Posted 10 years agoI just had a dream with Robin Williams being interviewed outside. He was being hilarious and doing impressions...hiding behind a wall, with his head peeking over the top. Then a penguin came into view below him, in front of the wall. It was trying to feel the top of the wall with its little flippers, and to hop up on it. It was adorable. The camera pulled back to show the penguin, and I realized it wasn't real, but someone in a really great fursuit.
There were other fursuiters lined up along the wall next to (to the right of) the reporter. One of them made some snarky comment to the penguin, making fun of its height. The penguin glared, then turned left, walking backwards to the right while holding it's tail (I don't know why it had a huge tail). It carefully backed up to the snarky guy and bopped him in the nutz with the tail. That was funny, but as he reacted to the trauma, he fell over backwards and like dominoes, so did the rest of the animals behind him. It was awesome, cute and funny. An adorable pile of slapstick.
My reaction as I watched this was also wanting to call everyone and say turn on CBS and watch this! But of course I can't call everyone and you had already just missed it, so my alarm went off instead. And here we are.

Perspective #1
Posted 10 years agoI've been in Germany for 8 days, got two left. A fair bit of work, not the worst schedule, I'm having a blast but want to put on my fursuit and run around town, unfortunately it is at home.
While I love my country, we are fully missing the mark on taking care of people, educating our citizens, and uplifting our society to something deserving of our extreme pride. If you get a chance, look around a bit and take some ideas from other thriving nations to see what we can do better. Vote for people that support such things, and help create the world we all yearn for. The future grows from every decision made, individually and collectively

Holy hazelnuss, another 5 days still in Germany?
Posted 10 years agoI don't really get homesick, but 10 days is a long time to be gone for a single stretch with so much back n forth travel lately. I miss my routine, my fast data connections and being able to sit at a pc in a comfy chair. Mostly I'm still not sleeping well, so that makes it tough to recharge.
I've got a meeting today where I go over all of my sales leads, and a huge demo tomorrow in another town 3 hrs away. Should be fun, but looking forward to coming home and running through the park like a regular squirrel.
Time to start my day, lunchtime liter of bier awaits! #roughlife OK not going to drink that much for lunch before meeting, just bad form.

heading to GLFC
Posted 10 years agoYup, I found out about the this today (well, Thursday) and bought a plane ticket and managed to get a room in the convention hotel, even better...on points! I hope to see some friends there but have no idea who is going, so I'll have to make some new friends too. Can't stop fursuiting!

Posted 10 years agoSo, lots has happened in the past year, but seemingly more in the past month. I finally have a Chux fursuit, and it is glorious. I love my new skin, it let's me be me. It was skillfully crafted by That's Furred Up. The tail is insanely large and fluffy. I got a lot of compliments on it, but more importantly, I had a lot of fun wearing it, spending an incredible amount of time in it. I didn't log the hours, but it was a lot. I didn't expect to do much at the dance, but I just couldn't help but shake my squirrel butt!
I met a lot of great animal people and hope to spend time with them in the future. You have no idea how good it feels to spend time with you folks, except you do, and that's why we get together! I heard it said before that we are fans of each other, and that is so true.
I presented a tour of the universe at GFM. It went over very well, and I was encouraged to do this again at all the cons. I don't know about all of them, but for now I have been put on the schedule for AC, which is exciting news by itself. I like being able to contribute to the fandom with the tools and experience.
I'm going to be at AC, IFC, MFF, may find others as well, time permitting. Last year I went to 10 professional conferences, so it is time to inject some fun in the mix!

Anthrocon was pawsome!
Posted 12 years agoHad a fantabulous time at AC! It was my first big convention and I loved it! Now as I look around for ideas for my first fursuit, I see amazing art from people I didn't get to see because I was too busy selling blinky lights! Good times though, and Had a great view of the parade!
ding... I'm here.
