Hello everyone.

Things have been a huge pile of stress, but i am very happy to tell you all I will be practically busy for the next few weeks. Y'see.... I got a new job. It seems like a good job, but it'll take a while before I get into the rhythm. Gotta learn the flow of the place. I wanna thank everyone that helped with donations and well wishes while I was looking for a new profession. I don't wanna be greedy, but I ask for you to continue to keep sending those good vibes.

It is Halloween season! The time for spooks and kooks to run loose in the streets. Heck someone needs to tell the big red guy up north that he doesn't get to fly his sleigh until after Turkey Day.... and i have no idea what character list to ramble about. Darn, these silly nerves. How about you folks? Any random ideas you wanna see me blabber about? It'll help calm me while I get with the rhythm of this new job.

If anxiety was looking for an avatar, I wish to Asmodeus that it would stop trying to anoint me as a representative. I apply to 7 to 10 possible jobs a week. Recently i have been stretching my options to include remote and hybrid positions. Like Goku would say, Please grant me your energy. My family has offered to help, and I appreciate that, but I think the worst phrase I have been getting is "Dont worry. Think of it like a vacation."

Fuck that!

A vacation is fun! This is days upon days of stress. And then my doctor keeps asking "Why is your blood pressure so high?

Geez woman, let me paint you a damn picture. I explained it to you several times and it didnt sink in???? Apologies to any followers that are doctors, but whoever wears that white coat better get checked for hearing issues.

Ok ok, enough of this let me do something fun for myself.

These things need to be animated:

- The Magic Treehouse- This would be a fun anthology. In the books, the MCs were given quests at first by LeFae, and then by Merlin. A TV series could blend the stories. Making the missions from either or. Depending on the story. It could be a duel from the 2 masters of magic to see who is a better teacher/influence to the kids.

- Discworld- Yeah I know they have already have had a few movies and mini series, but that just wet the apatite. I would absolutely love to see more. Maybe make a series around a few of the more colorful members of the Watch.

- Warriors- No, not the movie from 79. I'm talking about the cats in the wild as their clans but heads.

- Wings of Fire- Its dragons litterally born into a magical world of intrigue and adventure. Whats not to love???

- Tamera Pierce: Song of the Lioness- My wife gushed about this series so much that we started reading it together. Its a cool female protagonist with a world of spies, knights, magic and cross-dressing.

- CaFAE Latte- Magical critters running a coffee shop. Add to that, cursing Karens with silence, lgbtqia positive, and none of it feels ham fisted. I would love to see how they would animate the glamours and the gender fluid dragons.

- The Mistmantle Chronicles- If they don't make the Redwall movie, this would be my fallback. Heroes and villains are not very clear cut, and things get dark at times. Still involving cute forest animals.

- My teacher is an Alien Series- This series hit me pretty hard as a kid. I think it was one of the first times little me learned that villains can come back, as well as learning that antagonists are not always evil.

- Anne Bishop's World of Others- I love alternate universes. Especially ones that give the world different outlooks from the start. The Others are shape shifting creatures that own the world, and have to learn how to share it with humans. I adore the crows. They are proud scavengers who will happily do business with humans for something extra shiny.

- Animorphs- They tried to make a series out of this, and it was good. But I think now would be a great time to revisit the series in animated form.

Remember I said that June was a bitch? YES IT WAS! It was a horror, and it waited for the end of the month for the coup de grâce. My freaking job let me go. And it was a real sitcom kinda situation too. Here I am reprograming and reseting the equipment in a building. An entire building! On my own! 15 classrooms to PRE-Covid Settings. Then they pull me into a meeting. No big, right? Wait.... why is the new HR lady here???

You are let go. You don't have to hang around..... Just leave.....

What pissed me off more is that they said "Oh this was a last minute decision." Fuck you fuck that. You dicks were talking about this for weeks! I am at the start and end of every meeting of the BOT. I was made aware of every slide in the slide shows. I knew exactly how much in debt the college was in, and the 2 previous Boards ran the school into the ground. I respect that the new head was serious about pullin the school out of the hole. So don't pull that "Oh it just happened" nonsense with me! I would be less pissed if they said it was a long debate before we decided.

I mean I knew the writing was on the wall. I was passively looking for a better job. Its just that if felt better to look while a regular paycheck was available.

Since that day, I have hit the ground running looking for work. I have been on unemployment and have a few positive responses. But all in all its "Hurry up, and wait." Its a stress headache and I have been in and out of anxiety for the last month. As such I have had a hard time picking up my pencil. Any time i try, i get stuck staring at paper. My mind screaming that " I should be looking for work, not drawing"

I bet a lot of us have been there. I know I am not the only one. I have talked with family and friends and my anxiety has calmed down. Actually enough that i can work on drawings.

I apologize for being so quiet, but I promise to try and get back to my usual silliness.

Hello, Everyone.

Feels like its been a while since we chatted. I am glad FA is back up and running its been a welcomed distraction. Earlier this month, or more specifically at the ass end of last month, my family had the misfortune of losing my step-dad, Delfin. He will be missed, and I give all my respect to my sister who took charge and set everything up for him to be laid to rest comfortably. We miss you, dad.

Ok so as a way to get me busy and to perk up my mood, this month i will do a shipping challenge. This will allow OC x Cannon ships, but your OC will have to follow the rules of the cannon characters. (ex: No chimeras in Goofy's Spoonerville, but Peg is a dog and Pete is a cat who have kids.) Hello, hello. Sorry for being gone for so long. March was very busy and full of a few emotional shocks so I kinda found myself trying to tuck away and keep myself distracted. It wasnt fun, but i am feeling a scads better. I wanted to knock off the dust and get back on this list silliness. Since its April, i am back on the bird/avian/flying kick. This is another list of characters that live rent free in my wiggly grey matter. Only rules are that they have to have wings, or be based on flying creatures. Rule 2, no show duplicates. Only one character per title. This way I cant make a list of the entire cast of Gargoyles or Dragontales. Even if i might want to later. Here we go, and in no particular order.

Take to the Air-pril!

1- JoAnne Follett (Omaha the Catdancer)- This is absolutely a character who could have had her own spin off story in the series. Jo gets written off by most info sites as “just a prostitute”. Far from it. She is a secretary that moonlights as a prostitute. She is part of the cause of the troubles in the main story, and tries to correct her mistakes with dire consequences. How does that not rank more than “just a prostitute” ?

2- Chicken Joe (Surf's Up)- In a mockumentary of semiaquatic oddballs, the chicken is king of the surf. And that’s saying something , considering the lake was pretty placid most of the year. Fun fact, you can surf on Lake Michigan in the winter seasons. Joe is a bro of the highest order. When protag goes missing, he’s the one that tries to “rescue” him.

3- Adorabat (Mao Mao)- She be crazy, and I love it. She has a very blurred idea of what makes a hero. Like a kid who was raised on Violence Jack and DevilMan, only to discover Superman is a thing. Not many cartoons are willing to give a character a peg leg and not make that the main focus. More than once, I got too into an episode and forgot it was there.

4- Howard the Duck (Marvel)- The first Marvel Movie! This mad mallard was a burn out that suddenly appeared on Earth thanks to 80s science. In the comics he is a 4th wall shattering smart ass who tries to find his reason for being in the world. Many writers have no idea what to do with him and his sexy girl Friday, Bev, so he winds up doing a little bit of everything. Last I read he was a P.I. The fact he always spoke directly to the reader and poked fun at the tropes of the time was always a favorite of mine. I would have liked to see that in the movie a little more.

5- Agatha and Emily Vulture (Looney Toons)- They are adorable, and the bookends to one of my favorite looney toons cartoons. There is a reason that my Tiny Toons fan character is the resulting daughter of them, and Count Bludcount. They are a scavenger/predator, but unlike most cartoons, is first and foremost a kind creature. Absolute respect to Julie Bennett.

6- José Carioca (Three Caballeros)- The best way to describe him is “Donald Duck’s exact opposite.” Suave and extroverted, he is the chaddest of Brazilian chad. Even reality could be played with to some degree by him. Like a Disney character with regular Looney Toons abilities. They don’t play with that enough in his current interpretations if you ask me.

7- Perri Grey (Archie TMNT)- Bet you never heard of this character. Truthfully I could have used April. Dang girl has had her genes messed with so much she could be classified as a fish, reptile, insect, and feline, and the only constant is her rack keeps trying to escape that yellow jumpsuit. But I wanted to give a little affection to a very underused species/character. Perri is a lab tech that got mutated along with a captured April. While April became the first female turtle, Perri became a flying squirrel. She helped defeat the villain of the month, but rather than change back she opted to enthusiastically remain a mutant. If I could have a fluffy tail and long range gliding, I would totally do the same.

8- Sphinxy Sphinx (TTA)- She is a sphinx tied to the rules of Wackyland. They never specified what kind of sphinx she was, but she does have traits of both. Her appearance looks Egyptian, but her gag of riddles is very much Greek. I think the fanon is she is a child of both. That would be interesting, and very part of Wackyland shenanigans.

9- Aurora ( Adventures from the Book of Virtues.)- Can you tell I am a Kath Soucie fan boy? Yeah, I make it pretty obvious. If the show gets a reboot, I would have loved to see her bring cartoons of Jane Austen, Alice Walker, Karen Moning, and maybe Alice Bishop. Someone with some flash and spice up the kids’ experience with coming out respecting the sexes. I think she was the drive that made me take Women’s Lit in college. She made me wanna read more female made works. Get a taste for the new.


10- Fufu, the Lucky Bat (Sagwa)- I ended the last April list with a bat, and I’m doing it again, baby. Fufu is fantastic. He is Sagwa’s literal wing man and like a second older brother. I like to imagine his trademarked busted glasses were not just a visual cue that bats have sketchy eyesight. No other bat wore glasses. I like to imagine that the glasses were to help him see because he was hard of hearing. That’s why he was such a clumsy flyer. He compensates a lot. I know he is a generic design, but I wonder what species he could be. By the episodes, he needs to be strong enough to lift a long-hair Siamese cat. Must do research.

And that will do ya for April. Again, sorry I missed March. Hopefully I can keep better track of this. As to may…. I will leave that literally to you. May can be for OCs. You give me a list of your characters, or a character you really like and tell me about them. I choose the ones I like, and make silly headcannon theories with them. One part to show appreciation, to one part yay new things to look at. Feel free to add link in the comments.

Let’s admit it… Who doesn’t love beavers? Big, plush fluffy beavers…. Nooooo, wait not that. Although I aint gonna say no to that as a last meal if held hostage. No I am actually talking about the adorable builders of the animal kingdom whose industrious natures endeared into our cultures and ruined acres of forest without any human help. They can be both helpful and harmful, and I am sure fandoms exist with them as both victims and villains. This February I am going to say hello and Tiiiiimberrrrr to our paddle butted pals of the wild and give them a branch of friendship.

Yes, I give a damn

1. Mr. Busy (Lady and the Tramp)- Bet you didn’t know he had a name. He is the beaver that got the muzzle off Lady’s face after she escaped that bitchy aunt. They use him more than once in the backgrounds of the Xerox era of Disney. Its his model that eventually be modified into Gopher from the Pooh series.

2. Beaver (Franklin)- She is a sweet, if bossy, character from the Franklin series. But I always wondered why, in the world of Franklin, some folks had names while others just went by their species. They even have pets. And there really is no distinction between them. That was mind blowing. I do like that not only is she Franklin’s friend, but she is actually considered an antagonist.

3. Daggett Beaver (Angry Beavers)- Like I wasn’t going to bring up this show. He’s Zim in beaver skin. What’s not to love? You can not even look up the phrase “cartoon beaver characters” without getting swarmed with this show.

4. Beaver Wife (Cree Mythology)- Dang straight I love me some folklore. This is one of the many beaver themed stories that the people shared. It gives the feel of a Tales from the Crypt/ Darkside story. Imagine a beaver seducing you into having kids and a life of comfort. Then having your fam pulling you away and slaughtering your beaver fam and forcing you to eat the remains. It has a generally happy ending, but geeze is it dark.

5. Bill Der Beaver (Zoobilee Zoo)- Little me was all about this show, and Bill was a fav. He was a tinkerer and loved coming up with new inventions to help his friends and the plot. Imagine little me with a bucket of Legos, and you can see why he was a hero.

6. Beverly the Beaver Cheerleader (Gravity Falls)- Now this is kind of a stretch. Mostly because her personality is the result of a homicidal AI possessing an animatronic. That being said there was a drought of cute/interesting beaver designs in my media so I take what I can get.

7. Sawtooth (Wacky Races)- You ever wonder if Muttly starts a “moron’s animal sidekicks” support group for all the abused animals in these shows. Sawtooth is a cute hard working critter that helps his jerk of a partner keep their lumbering buzz wheel drive car going. I would say it was cool to hear Don Messick playing the voice, but seriously, I think Don and Mel Blanc were in competition to see who can voice the most of my childhood.

8. Anahita (Old Persian Mythology)- a virgin goddess of war, love, healing and fertility. Much like the beaver lurking in the water and trudging along the land, this goddess seems to takes different individual aspects and somehow makes them work together. Lots of more research needs to be done, but color me curious.

9. Handy (Happy Tree Friends)- Of all the Tree Friends, this guy is my fave. He doesn’t let his handicap stop him, and unlike Mole using his in the same vein as Mister Magoo, his is a lot more funny. He legitimately knows he is disabled but still tries to be “normal”. It doesn’t make fun of disability so much as his stubbornness. Which is a lot more respectful in my eyes.

10. Beaver (Marvel 616)- I just found out about this character. She is a one shot Canadian bever theme’d Squirrel Girl from a Deadpool centered hero team. It would be so cool to see her pop up as a one-sided rival to the Unbeatable one. Give her her own Bucky Beaver to be her Tippy and let shenanigans happen! Call me, Marvel! I’ll give you ideas!

And there we go. Now I know there has to be more beaver characters in media. Beavers are found all over North America and Europe. There has to be more. So I leave it to you. Do you know any more tree chomping forest munchers? Who in the fandom do you know is the biggest beaver simp? Toss these ideas at me in the comments below. I am very curious.

Today I celebrate my birthday, and I just wanna say thanks for being a wonderful audience and set of cheerful friends.

Anyone else glad to see this year getting swept under the rug with all the rest.  It has had more than enough stressors that I could gladly do without.  It literally robbed me of a lot of my art mojo and i wanna take this moment to say thanks to all my amazing commissioners who stand  with me through it all.  I appreciate your faith in my silliness.  I hope you all have great enjoyments tossed your way.  I hope the deities of fortune give you all a nod.  And with that I start with a whole new top Ten list to encourage discussion and fangasms among my readers.  Break out the honey and hide the picnic baskets, because I am tossing 10 cool bear characters that live rent free in my imagination. 

 Bear Necessities of Fans!

10- Bad Idea Bears (Avenue Q)-  They are so deliciously out of place, that they fit perfectly in the perversion of Sesame Street.  These two magical bears pop in to give you the most horrible advice in the cutest way possible.  After getting you drunk and laid, they'll cheerfully lead you to an early end.  Its amazing how dark they actually are in the play.  Hell, they join Scientology in the end. 

9- Teddy Ruxbin (Teddy Ruxbin)-  I admit.  I only enjoy the character from the toy.  i enjoy the other characters in the show, but you play RunDMC, the Fat Boys, or Ozzy in the tape player and you will never stop laughing. 

8- Rebecca Cunningham (Tailspin)-  Tied with Peg for the MILF of Disney Afternoon.  Anyone else got misty eyed when she was getting woo'd by the Ghost sailor?  It was so romantic.  I literally cried when she put him down with a spellbook.  Actually she never got rid of the book.  And I doubt that not just anyone can use grimoires.

7- Glam Rock Freddy (Five Nights)-  He is only low on the list because it took until the Pizzaplex to give him his daddy/himbo personality.  Scott Cawthorn mentioned that Pizzaplex and the Movie was more of an AU from the main game, but that seemed like a cop out.  Back on track, having Freddy trying to help the protagonist (with mysteries that even Freddy isn’t aware of) really brought new life to the story.

6- Mother Bear (The Berenstain Bears)-  Can we get some love for the glue that held the family together.  She puts up with a lot of silliness with her family and to my knowledge never resorted to a spanking.  Even though Papa certainly deserved it more than once.  If I had any one curiosity, it would be what is her actual name?  Were her folks particularly cruel and named her “Mama.”

5- Little Bear (Little Bear)-  When i got sick, this was one of my favorite show to watch.  It is so damn wholesome. It’s a world of talking animals and humans.  Kinda makes me question the meat markets in that world, but luckily it more focuses on the little cub and his navigating his forest neighborhood.  So much cuteness that it fills me with fuzzies.

4- Grammi Bear (Gummi Bears)-  Is it wrong that I always assumed Grammi was baron?  She was the only breedable female at the time and considering how friendly she was to Zummi and "yeah he's my ex" she was with Gruffi.  You'd think they would have at least tried to keep the Gummi warren populated.  If it wasn't for the barbics, they would have had a pretty shallow gene pool.  Grammi was an adopted mom to the 3 youngsters, but it’s one of those pieces of lore that just got stuck in my craw.

3- Fozzie Bear (Muppet Shows)-  An accidental genius of comedy.  Fozzie isn’t one for verbal jokes, but shines in situational and slapstick gags.  My all-time favorite kind of comedy.

2- Cindy Bear (Yogi)-  Although I miss her thirsty southern belle demeanor, I do love her new Barbie genius aesthetic in the Jellystone series.  It gives her more to play with as a character and opens her up to more stories than just flirting with Yogi.

1-Grumpy Bear (Care Bears)-  No matter the incarnation of the greeting card ursine,  I will always look for Mr. Cranky.  Its important to regulate your emotions, both good and uncomfortable.  Sometimes you just need a good cry.  That’s what Grumpy is all about.  Moving past those downer days to reach warmer tomorrows.  He was the spice that made Care-a-lot worth visiting.

 
I’ll end my rambling here.  These are some of the bears that always come to mind when I wanna think about bears in fandoms.  I have loads more, but how about I hear from you.  What bears do you enjoy seeing in these days of hibernation?  Feel free to comment down below and maybe you might show me something new.

Holy heck have these past few months been a rollercoaster. But instead of lingering on the hellscape of current events, I wanna send some love and cheers to my two little sisters who decided to add some new, much needed kindness to the world. I am now uncle to Raven and Reagan. One month after the other. so much birthday cake to buy! That being said, I am very happy that everyone got through without too much issue.

Now on to the silly. I decided to revisit the monthly themes, and so lets start things off with adorable if not zany mice. This will be another top 10 of cartoon mice that helped inspire my muse from time to time.

Return of Mouse-mber's top 10:

10- Funky Jan (Devil and Daniel Mouse)- I love musical cartoons, and Nelvana hit it out of the park with this cute little number. I agree with B.L. that she deserved to go to hell. He gave her everything she asked for, and when she was trying to wiggle out, he started to take it all back. It wasn't his fault that she was terrible with reading contracts. That being said, I loved her songs and the many styles they played with in this movie. She doesn't have her name in the title, but she is literally the star. We follow her story. Dan is just there.

9- Death of Rats (Disc World)- He popped into existence when DEATH needed a break to find himself. He shows up in many of the Pratchett books either by DEATH's side, or reaping actual rodents or people with "dirty rat" personalities. He is still young, but you can tell he, much like DEATH, is developing a personality. He is impatient, playful, but never really cruel. I know he rides on a talking crow, but I wonder if he gets to command Binky when the need arises.

8- Ebichu (Oruchuban Ebichu)- Ever wanted to hear Kotono Mitsuishi (VA of Sailor Moon) scream about sex and dildos? Watch this show. Every episode, this adorable anthro hamster will be more crass than your cool lesbian aunt after the third glass of sangria. The art style is a bizarre blend of Hamtaro and Shin-chan. I am rather shocked that Adult Swim didnt seem to pick it up.

7- Mighty Mouse (Terry Toons)- I adored the Ralph Bakshi run on this character. Seriously, look it up. Many big names had a run on this super mouse spoof. I also liked that they gave him his own Clark Kent-esque disguise. I also loved that they never took the hero side seriously. Lots of squash/stretch with a few subtle adult gags sprinkled throughout.

6- White-tooth (Belozubka)- Youtube keeps pulling down the links, but the story of a shrew helping a human who is dying of frost is really sweet.

5- Mushika (Hindu Folklore)- I know he starts off as a demon before Ganesha sets him on the right path, but I say he deserved a little rage out. He was a talented musician that accidentally stepped on a sage's foot. He even apologized and the sage still made him go rodent. I say that grants him at least a year of anger. And the sage that started it all should get turned into a frog for throwing curses around. Being made into the big guy's mount might seem ok, but i like to hope he was still able to find a way to play music if he wants to.

4- Tanya Mousekewitz (An American Tail)- Hard to say which of the three AUs I like more. Original Tanya is classically adorable, Saloon Tanya (from FgW and series) had more personality, and Sequels Tanya was charmingly awkward. If I had to take a stab at a gripe, I would ask why did the writers not make it a gag that folks outside family kept calling her Tilly and not Tanya. Her name was legally changed when they got off the boat. I think it would be funny if she would occasionally have to correct someone. Maybe use it like a pen name when she is doing the reporter thing in the sequels.

3- Lusta Dick (Cat City)- Ok his name was also Lazy Dick, but did you see the hell this guy went through? He deserves way more respect. Starting off as a literal finger to the Mouse Overlords of animation, the fandom thankfully took them under their questionable wings. Its not like the actuall show did much with this duo. They were supposed to be Buster and Babs' evil opposites. I wanna see how Looniversity handles them in future episodes. If the disney lawyers don't lower the boom..

Well this Mother's day was full of surprises. I had a wonderful time surprising my mom with an un announced visit to New York. She absolutely freaked out when I just arrived at her front door. Seeing her smile was great. Then I took a closer look at my sister and noticed her belly was huge! Thats right , another new minion is on the way! The joke is that each time she had a child, I ate oysters. Or as my sister put it once, "You and those damn oysters!" No name for the little one yet, but odds are good it will be another girl.

I am so happy/worried for her. As any good brother should be.

Well hello hello one and all.

I hope everything is going well and you are all enjoying a bit of rest and fun as the day marches on. I have been having a lot of my weekends loaded with school events, but as soon as they are done, I hope to get back on my art train. That said, welcome to the next silly list. This time with dogs in headcannon relationships. Its all in good fun, and these are just thoughts that live rent free in my head. As with all the other ship lists here are the rules: 1- Characters must be from the same universe. No crossing the streams. 2- Each pairing needs to have at least 1 canine in the couple. 3- come up with a believable reason they may hook up. 4- No OCs. Anyone can make a matching ship, but where is the fun in that?

With that said, here we go,

Quick list of Doggo Dates

- Goofy x Peg (Goof Troop)- Seriously, the writers did not know who she was supposed to be into. The way she was displayed, it felt like she was on the verge of divorcing Pete and just needed that extra push. And then Goofy shows up. It kinda felt like they were an old couple, and then Peg started dating Pete. So this ship was a rekindling of passions, that gave Peg the emotional charge to move forward away from Pete. Ever wonder why you never see her in the Goofy Movie?

- Shaggy Rogers x Ruby Doo (Scooby Doo series)- Ok, I did a very long rant on how Scooby and his family are tied to the monster, Grendel. So lets talk about Shaggy. With very few exceptions, Shaggy really isn't into women. The very few he is drawn to turn out to be aliens or monsters. Just saying the man has a type. So who's met Scrappy? The pup is pretty bipedal even for a Doo. When you see the episode of his birth, there is no father, or lover waiting in the hospital for news of Ruby. Only Scooby and Shaggy. Let that sink in.

- Tech E. Coyote x Rev Runner x "Mastermind" (Loonatics Unleashed)- I like to think Tech is attracted to genius. Anyone who can think on his level, or at least can understand without constantly repeating with definitely get his affection. The villainess, Mastermind was his ex. Rev is one of the few characters that not only understands him, but also translates his technobabble for the others. This flying V of attraction is one of the few things that keep Tech hidden in his lab than try to sort those awkward feelings.

- Rolly x Cadpig (101 Dalmation)- But Ludu, I hear you say, they are related! And to that I say “So was Wanda and Pietro, but that didn’t stop Marvel Ultimates.” Oh, and also of the original 101, only 15 are blood related. The rest were bought/stolen from pet shops. My headcannon is that Cadpig is from one of said petshops, that just gravitated towards Rolly while being held by Cruella’s goons. If you did read the original book, then yeah we are going the Marvel route.

- Frances x Bill (Rupert)- Here we have a girl that is bored out of her mind and longing for adventure. Here we have a boy that trips over adventure every five minutes. Bill is an accidental danger magnet, and if these two ever met in Rocky Bay, I can guarantee the poor beach side town would be laid to waste in their awkward shenanigans.

- Lupe x Antoine (SatAM)- There is always one ship that I can just feel will bring out the haters. Ok, before Bunnie and Ant tied the knot, Ant was awkwardly confusing love and loyalty to Princess Sally. When Lupe arrived in the show, I was gobsmacked by how awesome the wolf pack was. I also noticed that rather than be annoyed by Ant’s cowardice, Lupe took the time to explain her people’s tricks to the shaky coyote. Young me thought that if the show went on longer, there would be an episode where Ant would go back to the wolf pack to toughen himself up a bit. It also works that the wolves had a native theme and Coyote is prominent in many native stories.

- Cherry x Cookie (Animal Crossing)- Nothing too difficult here. My wife and I made it a point to randomly ship characters in the games for the heck of it. Cherry is a punk fashionista who needs models for her designs. Cookie is a peppy villager that really loves to help. Even if it involves walking a catwalk in questionable attire. They both share a love for fashion, but Cookie is the one who likes to be stared at.

- Reflex x Brighteyes (Pound Puppies: Big Paw)- Brighteyes loves to share affection and attention. Reflex was conditioned by a scientist to give exactly that every time he hears a bell. With extreme gusto.

- Sam Sheepdog x Ralph Wolf (Looney Tunes)- They are the bestest of friends, and neighbors. The sheep have a running bet to see when they are going to confess to each other.

- Cosmo the Spacedog x Lockjaw of Attilan (Marvel MCU)- Have they ever let Goose and Cosmo into the Pet Avengers? Well, they should. Cosmo’s deal is that she wound up on Nowhere after getting the FF-treatment. But how did she get there? I like to think that Lockjaw went and poofed her there on whatever whims his precognition drove him. Even the Inhuman royals know that you just can’t control Lockjaw. When not by Blackbolt or Crystal’s side, he is distracting Cosmo from her duties.

This is only a taste. I am sure my head is swimming with other crack ships. But now is the time to pick your brains. What canine crack ships do you have sailing in seas of your imagination? Hello, hello, Colleagues and Nemeses.

I truly hope you are having a wonderful day and it continues well on past the horizon’s stretch. I wanna apologize for giving a long afk to everyone. Things have been pretty crazy since my job decided to switch healthcare plans. The company that was supposed to be handling the math for it dropped the ball so hard. Then the company that pimps the doctors forgot to look for the checks and were hounding my wife and I for collections. I had my bubble up pretty thick, and it was tough to just chat as much as I like to. Issues have since improved. Add to that, my job is decommissioning a lot of good tech. Its still in excellent condition, so as soon as they get placed in the gaylord boxes, I am going to pounce and sell what I can on Ebay. Seriously some of those touch screen units look awesome.

Now where was I? Oh yeah …. I’m gonna make another list. Now in the collection last year I didn’t have dogs, although I may have had a few canine reps in the othe lists. This time I am going to focus only on some of fandom’s best canines that live rent free in the pound of my noggin. Let us begin!

-Wishbone (Wishbone)- I would rush home with the quickness to watch this cute little doggy get dressed up as a storybook character and give a little taste of what the story had to offer. Can you imagine if this show continued and they added more contemporary novels. Just saying, I wanna see Wishbone as either Team Edward or Team Jacob. It would probably be the only way I could pay attention to those books. Oh, or maybe put him in different animal costumes and he could be an Animorph. That would have been so cute.

-Ma Beagle (Ducktales)- Can we please show respect for the power of this woman's ovaries. The only hobby she had in prison was banging guards and birthing babies. Well with the exception of the "6th Avenue Friendlies." (They were probably adopted) I loved that the big reveal of Ma and her boys was a homage to the Warriors movie in the DT17 series. With Ma taking the role of Lynne Thigpen's D.J. A fun nod would have been a reintroduction of the Beagle Babes. Maybe having Ma showing them the ropes.

- Bluey (Bluey)- This is new, but i absolutely adore this show. The parents are the right blend of sweet and goofy. You know they are trying their best, and you can see the subtle cues that show they are going through their own stresses. Bluey is adorable, and one of those rare times that a child is written as a child. And I don't know if its confirmed or not, but I think she is a little on the ADHD spectrum. I love this because my niece is on there as well, and she can have representation that she can look at and say "Hey, me too."

- Mr. Peabody (Peabody and Sherman)- Oh, the historic puns. He was one of my favorite parts of the Rocky&Bullwinkle show. I must be one of the few people that enjoyed the Dreamworks movie. Getting a closer look at his life after adopting Sherman, and seeing that it had its ups/downs it was really endearing and i loved the added depth.

- Nosemarie (Pound Puppies)- Hello, cartoon crush. I preferred her season 1 sass more than her season 2 mom-mode, but that said she is a really sweet character. You want a good combo of the two designs, check out the Legend of BigPaw movie. The music is enjoyable as heck.

-Mebh Óg MacTíre (Wolfwalkers)- Watch. This. Movie! It’s a wonderful take on werewolves, and the animation is sooooo enchanting. Mebh is a spitfire who is the very definition of a kind, wild child.

-Balto (Balto)- I’m the sucker that preferred the first sequel to the original, but ya gotta give respect to one of the rescue dogs that saves so many. When it first came out, I thought that statue in the movie was fake. And then I found it while wondering Central Park.

- Rosie O'Gravy (Dog City)- Love a lady that is in charge. In the actual movie, her counter part was the protag’s fri. When it went animated, she was still the fri, but now the source of inspiration for the police chief. I always wondered if they kept more of her backstory. Maybe Rosie worked VICE before promoting to chief detective. Maybe an updated Colleen Barker had an OnlyPaws as a nod to her “doing tricks on the corner” from the original movie. My mind is a terrible maze sometimes.

- Scooby Doo (Where are you)- I have gone on a huge rant about how this great dane is actually blood related to an ancient demon from the tales of Beowulf. That said, I love watching the bulk of this dog’s adventures with teen draft dodgers. I have only found 2 that does my dog dirty. The Scooby movies will even add a paranormal spin, and show that it can work in a world of costumes and insurance fraud.

- Snoopy (Peanuts)- The king of claustrophobic good doggos! This boy has so much charisma he woos Peppermint Patty, Eudora, Lucy… seriously it’s a list. He always comes out on top in the end and that is a fun silver lining that little me really enjoyed seeing. The pup has a permanent float in parades. You cant get more epic than that.

Yeah my rotation around the sun is coming upon me, and I am feeling that winter blah. If even the smallest sunlight slips through those clouds, go out there and soak up that delicious UV. Supposedly, just a 10 minute walk is all you need to boost mood and testosterone levels. So screw it and walk to your favorite comic \book shop and give them some business. Boost everything and enjoy some dead tree art. Dang it, New England! I wanna enjoy a walk, so stop freezing my tits!

Speaking of New England, my wife and I have discovered a furry con nearby. Anyone ever been to Anthro New England? I have never been, and I am curious about what to expect.

-Trapper Stilton x Connie (Geronimo Stilton)- Ok I admit Trapper is very much one of those characters I wanna drop kick, but I am not above him finding a little affection. Connie is the member of the “evil Thea harem”, and for all intense and purpose loves a good prank. Trapper (in the series) owns a joke shop. I like to think Connie is a regular, and that is where she likes to let her hair down. Sure she gives an occasional flirt to him to see if she can get a sale on a new gag. But both agree it is all in good fun.

-Felicity Fieldmouse x Mortimer Mouse (Disney)- Fun fact: Mickey has a sister. She has 2 sons. One is named Morty. Now every, and I mean every female in the Mickey-verse hates Mortimer. He is a jerky womanizer. So much so that even Pete has no problem kicking his ass. So where did that start? Minnie? Nooo he is a touch older. So my mad mind likes to think that he charmed Felicity, and is just enough of a dead beat dad to name his kid after himself.

-Stuart Little x Margalo (Sony Pictures)- Michael J. Mouse meets adorable bird girl. Its so sweet.

-Vedrfolnir (and bro) x Nidhogg x Ratatoskr (Norse)- Here’s an odd threesome that you don’t hear about often. And yeah I am stretching a little. The Tree quad as I like to call them is a falcon (more often than not accompanied by an eagle at the top), a squirrel, and a dragon (at the bottom). Ratatoskr is the mail man between the two of the other ends . Who is to say the little trickster didn’t pass the odd love note between them and wind up sparking a bit of romance. And while Ved and Nid try to decide what they wanna wear on their date, Rata takes the big bulky bird to the mead hall.

-Roderick Rat x Giselle Swan (TTA)- Margot and Danforth were not above using partners to seduce Plucky, so It’s a pretty safe bet that if it’s a greedy, underhanded, and all around self-serving Perfecto students will do whatever or whoever to get ahead. Plus this is a ship I never see around the fandom. So here we go. Giselle wants revenge on Shirley and Babs, and is looking to the school’s top mouse to get some help. He has their back, and he’ll get to watch them practice Agon the ballet. Win Win, right?

-Columbine Thatchling x Sophia Ryemaid (Redwall: The Scout)- A little one sided Fall/Spring romance never hurt no body. After Sophia rescues her, I like to think the baker would hope to convey her feelings with all manner of delicious delights where words tend to fail her. Even when Liam and Sophia tie the knot, her feelings trickle down to their young dibbuns. Making her a very devout godmother.

-Tanya Mousekewitz x Cat R. Waul (An American Tail)- I blame Fievel. Its been retconned that AAT2 was just a fantasy for Fievel. Why is he thinking about his sister being romantically stalked by a cat? Lets not shame Fievel for his size play kink. To each their own. I mean it is adorable, that she was the only one he wanted to spare. But did he think she would continue to sing while her mom and dad were being served to him on a platter?

-Sailor Iron Mouse x Sailor Tin Nyanko (Sailor Moon)-  KaeMantis is absolutely to blame for this permanent headcannon. I cannot undo it.

- Bernard x Bianca (Rescuers)- My wife demanded that these two be put on the list, and let me tell you that I cant blame her. The agent and the janitor, although I do feel a bit cheated. They were part of a whole book series, and all we got was the smallest taste.

-Justin x Brisby (NIMH)- See this. This would have been a better part two. Show him being the awkward leader of the rats, and having Brisby as a girl friday, so to speak. Helping him find his stride, and helping her get her groove back.

Sweet Baby Ray’s honey mustard on whole wheat what is with these holidays. Sorry to have stalled out on the scribbles, but I swear I have a great excuse. This thanksgiving, I had the joy of spending the holidays with my little nieces. Both have more energy than me and 3 cups of dark roast. While sitting and watching tanktolman and roto_raptor (yes I am mentioning by name because they are awesome, and my minions’ fav for the moment) my littlest minion decided to go to the top of the staircase and after screaming “Uncle Joey!” LEAPED from said stair into my non existent out stretched arms. Faster than any muay thai class I had, my arms shot out to catch her. She is safe, but her full weight went on my thumb. My left thumb. I am left handed.

Nothing broke, and she was so sorry she kissed my thumb and gave me all the apology huggies. Her exact word “Huggies make you feel better, uncle Joey. I’ll give you another if you need it.” I hyper extended my thumb, it was screaming in pain and I could not be angry. They will rule the world one day. Just saying. There is no escape. They are adorable overlords in training. You have been warned!

12- Capybarian Alien (Space Dandy)- Why the hell did they make her barely dressed and irresponsibly thicc? That’s two C’s, spellcheck! Don’t even try to correct me! And she was so mellow about telling Dandy about the time anomaly that surrounds her planet. But all I can think is “Why the thicc????”

11- Rhubella Rat (TTA)- Ok I know they wanted her to be Babs’ rival/antithesis (the Mickey/Bugs gender bent refs were not lost on me) but they really didn’t do anything with her except make her a spoiled rich bitch. A cute spoiled rich bitch, but still just a bitch. Hey Looniversity get off your asses and step up. I want quality villains!

10- Hubie and Bertie (WB)- The second gay couple of the Looney Toons gang. Right next to/ probably in the same polycule with Mac and Tosh. They fill the antagonist role with Claude and Sylvester and in my opinion do it way better than Tweety ever could. If I had to give them one con, it’s that there wasn’t enough with them.

09- Splinter (TMNT)- The OG turtle dad, 2003TMNT and 2013TMNT we don’t talk about Rise in this house. But seeing many talk about it as a study in psychological divergence has made me wanna give it a try. Just not the first 10 episodes.

08- Ms. Bianca (The Rescuers)- Seriously, Disney could fuse this with Rescue Rangers and make her the new head of the Rescue Aid Society.

07- Vinnie (Biker Mice)- I love the fact that he was so in love with himself, that species meant nothing. A horrible facial scar, screw that I have a stylish mask. And considering his voice actor, don’t you wanna see him pimp slap a shark with a chainsaw? I wanna see it happen.

06- Ninkilim (Sumerian Myth)- Thank you Sumeria for giving me a gender fluid diety that acts as the lord of vermin/swarms. Although drawn as a “she”, they are mentioned and spoken of as a “masculine.” I wonder what can be done with them.

05- Simon (Chipmunks)- My favorite munk. Especially in the “At the movies” season where he was Batmunk as well as Sherlock. I found it funny that he was either shipped with Jeanette, or Britney. He was flexible with his romances and that’s why I liked him. As the regular straight to the zany, he is given more chances to explore as a character.

04- Peepers (Rock-A-Doodle)- This mouse has a level of sass almost as big as her….. rear. Gotta respect a shrimp of a mouse that can fly a huge helicopter.

03- RatTrap (Beast Wars)- He is the jerk you gotta love. He keeps the team level by being the rogue to Optimus’ paladin. The wisdom to Cheetor’s childishness. The everyman to Rhinox’s genius. And Dinobot’s living conscience. He was a sneak, but you knew he was a sneak and he never wavered from that. Even when his gold heart was shining through.

02- Violet (Thea Sisters/ Geronimo Stilton)- Thea has her harem, but if I had to choose one to simp for it would be the tea drinking, folklore loving nerd. She is a Jill-of-all-trades, and seems to be a font of random knowledge given whatever event they may be experiencing.

01- Justin (NIMH)- With all due respect, screw Brisby’s whiney crotch spawn, this ws the guy we should have been following in part 2. A captain of the Rose Bush Rat Guard, he falls for the protagonist mom, and has to leave after being thrusted into leadership as the rats move to Thorn Valley. Why was that not the sequel. We could see him struggle with leadership. See him leading the mice while dodging NIMH hunters.

Oh my whiskers so many rodents to sit back and enjoy. And its been a year, so I know you all can think of more mousey maniacs to fill another list. So how about it? So is made the second list of the month. As like all the others, its time for themed ships that run free in my mind from time to time. There are a few rules. The first and foremost is that each ship must involve at least one member of the hoofed variety. The second rule is that even with crack ships they have to remain in universe. No crossing over to other shows/fandoms. It makes things harder, but really helps you be clever with the combinations. From friendships to kinky freaks, all ships can set sail in this navy.

With that said, here we go.

10 pairs of clopping hoof couples.

- On Stage x Raspberry Beret (MLP)- I really really deserve an award for not flooding this list with ponies. If we switch up the months next time I will insist on one list being ponies. Back on track, here is a crack ship I hardly see. These two are part of the troupe that was tasked with teaching Celestia stage acting. They focus on method acting. So when they both managed to get the part of a soon-to-be-married couple in a Manehattan play, they tried dating to get into character. Nopony knew the wedding at the third act was real until she threw the bouquet into the audience.

- True Heart Bear and Noble Heart Horse (Care Bears)- Yeah they are a couple, and I gotta wonder what catastrophe occurred involving Dark Heart that forces them to take a ship of babies into hiding? We are totally missing out on some interesting lore.

- Pinky x Phar Fignewton (Animaniacs)- Boy likes his ladies big. Much respect.

- Vinnie the Deer x Fifi Le Fume (TTA)- This one took a little creativity. In Looniversity, Fifi likes to mention her exs. Rather than being boy thirsty like her original design. Then I saw the new Vinnie design and thought… yeah he’s an ex. Personally, I prefer Vinnie’s original design.

- Officer Clawhauser x Chief Bogo (Zootopia)- You’ve seen the movie, and the short where Bogo comes rushing in to be his dance partner. Its so cute and awkwardly wholesome.

- Heqet x Khnum (Egyptian Myth)- Heqet is the frog diety that controls the Nile’s floods. Khnum is the ram headed deity that is the true source of the nile. She decides how high he rises and how fertile the nile will be. If you cant see the innuendos here, I have failed as a perverted bad influence.

- Sophia Bolgereli x Pepe Rubbanosa (Animalympics)- This was cute. These two were a part of the big marathon race. My headcannoning brain had them hooking up while everyone was glued to Rene and Kit’s running romance. They actually hook up before the start of the Games, and Pepe can’t help but tease her at the starting line even though they promised to keep things professional.

- Dhahabu x Bunga (Lion Guard)- I am honestly not a fan of the little honey badger. In truth, my urge to kick him on the same level as “start of Boo” Gotenks. But I did think his crush on the zebra queen was adorable. Shows that honey badgers want what they want and care not for much else. If Timon and Pumba could make it work, I don’t see why they couldn’t.

- Ryoga Hibiki x Ukyo Kuonji (Ranma ½)- Ok this one is a stretch, but Ryoga does turn into a pig. In the manga Ryoga eventually hooks up with a sweet girl that raises sumo pigs, but I didn’t start on the manga. I watched the anime. In the anime it was often implied that the directionless downer would have some kind of relationship with the bi- queen of cuisine. In the large group of oddballs, she seemed the most sensible. In Akane’s harem, Ryoga seemed to have some what of a level head. It often seemed to be that they would gravitate to each other in spite of all their shenanigans.

- Asgore Dreamur x Snowdin Shopkeeper (Undertale/ Deltarune)- Lets be honest about Asgore, he doesn’t get a lot of love. Even in Deltarune, he is a helpless sad sack who is hung up on his ex. Occassionally the big bear of a ram might get a few bones tossed his way, but its rare. So in steps my crack shipping brain with a thought… how about the Shop keeper from Snowdin? See when the wall is shattered and the monsters head above ground, Asgore pretty much abdicates the throne and gets a job/hobby as a gardener. When you shop keeper is spoken with in the epilogue, she says that she and her sister wanted to open a shop/inn above ground. Well every good hotel needs a competent groundskeeper. This is where Asgore fits in. Eventually she starts to fall for his dorky awkward charms. Unlike Toriel, the ShopKeeper doesn’t blame Asgore for his actions. She does feel bad, but sees it as a terrible necessity to free their people. If anything she felt pity for the big lug. Seeing him bond with her kids softened her heart to him more and they start an awkward relationship.

Good lord and butter these past two months were full of hype. These past three weekends have me working multiple shifts. I got stuff I wanna draw, dang it! I cant draw in the office! Still gotta find a quiet spot to spend my lunch hour. That being said my mind is still running a mile a minute with these theme'd months. Here we go with month eleven,  theaubri and I decided that this month could be dedicated to creatures of the hooved variety. Even or odd we are saying hello to the horses, cattle, rhino and even tapir (who knew) of the fandoms.

- Lady Amalthea (The Last Unicorn) - Hard to decide if I prefer the book or the movie unicorn, but lets go with the cartoon movie for fun. Amalthea has that aged/although naive air about her. Practically immortal, but knowing very little about the world outside her forest. I would love to see a remake of this with a little less of the dry singing. Maybe a cyber/steam punk series.

- Thirty/Thirty (Bravestarr) - From fantasy to wild west.... in space, Thirty/Thirty is a badass cyber bronco (and part time steed) of Marshal Bravestarr. This cyber equine goes from quad to biped thanks to ancient alien tech and its always a show to see him transform. That, and he has a huge Fuck You gun. I loved his brash manners. Its so freaking 80s.

- Pinkie Pie (MLP Gen4) - Well let's see, I've gushed about Gen1's Shady, and swooned about Gen 4's Applejack so who should I gush about now..... I swear you have no idea how hard it was to not turn this into a total ponies list. Soooo difficult. As the 4th wall breaking mad pony of the group, Pinkie was nothing if not random. And officially the first of the Mane cast to be an official mom. Though looking back on it, she had the most scenes interacting with kids. If the writers had intended this from the start, I would not have been surprised.

- Ferdinand (Ferdinand) - Yeah the new movie was good (Angus is voiced by David Tennant, so much to love), but if I had to choose it would be the original short. The hand colored animation, the familiar narration. Also Ferdinand's mom lands in the very short list of Disney moms that actually lives through the child's life.

- Annabelle (Annabelle’s Wish) - Ok here is my obligatory X-mas add on for the month, Annabelle. A sweet little calf that wishes to be a deer and pull Santa's sleigh. This little sunny bun has lots of misadventures as she grows, and seeing her experience such events is a joy to watch. Its a wonderful story of many x-mas miracles.

- Sleipnir (Norse Myth) - Seriously, everyone is freaking sleeping on this character. Ok I get that he is not exceedingly prominent, but that leads to a lot of fun. One of the children of Loki, he was made the steed of Odin. But considering his mom was a master shape shifter, who is to say that he didn't trot around in many disguises when not being dragged by his uncle into random battles. The other children of the back biter were cast out of Asgard. How do they feel that he was spared. Was he spared, or was he the key to an even deeper plot? I'm saying that the boy has possibilities.

- Grace (Home on the Range) - I'm a sucker for Jennifer Tilly. She is an awesome character actress. Grace is a dear heffer, who's tin ear plays a big roll in her film. And that is hilarious because Jennifer Tilly can really sing amazingly. Fun thing is that in a few wikis, Grace is said to have a huge crush on Buck, but took the bull, Barry as a mate. Now I don’t recall her interest in Buck going anywhere past infatuated, but let’s put on the old feed bag and chew this cud of an idea for later.

- Starlite (Rainbow Brite) – The equine has an ego and the skills to match it. Starlight is one of those “full of themselves” characters that you legitimately grow to like. To me he came off as the type that stood on a pedestal and knew you could make it too. After all, the view is fantastic. And who wouldn’t want to share.

- Clarabelle Cow (The Three Musketeers) - Ok she was the fun gossip in House of Mouse, but when they made her the dread assassin, Lady de Winter, I just swooned. Probably more than Goofy did in the film. Fun fact, she is typically passed between Horace and Goofy in shipping lanes. I say why not both? Let her be the meat in Disney’s first Throuple sandwich. She had enough sass for two savants.

- Tony Tony Chopper (One Piece) – The cutest doctor in the history of doctors. Respect to the little guy who used mad science to beef up his devil fruit to crazier forms. And considering his string of admirers, you could say he has excellent taste, if he noticed any of them.

The spooky month is in full swing with many towns around holding pumpkin festivals. Some looking awful romantic to every witch and ghoul in the neighborhood. Good a time as any to add the next shippers list from  theaubri and I. Rules are simple, one or both members in the ship has to be of the unliving persuasion. Crack ships are fine, but they have to be possible in series cannon. No crossing universes.

Here we go:

13 Hauntingly romantic couples

-Charlie x Sasha (ADGtH series)- Ok I give the series this, it gave a really nice premise. Charlie returns to life as a guardian angel for the living. It figures well that he would find heaven boring. Sasha as his no nonsense fri was cute too. Someone who can see past his bull and keep him on the good side.

-Casper x Wendy (HarvyToons Comics)- Funny enough, this is relatively new as far as the characters go. It was shown that they were best of friends in the comics, but it wasn’t until the 1998 “Casper and Wendy” movie that it started getting cemented that Wendy’s tastes were pulse optional.

-Napstablook and Mettaton (Undertale)- This was sooo cute! They lived together, and when Mettaton went to get a physical form, they drifted apart. It wasn’t until Frisk came along that they started to get back together. I was always curious if they would team up again.

-Allister x Hitomi Ghost Girl (Pokemon)- Ok this took a bit of headcannoning, but hear me out. The Hitomi ghost is a ghost players meet early in the Kalos region. Supposedly a human ghost that did not pass on and is haunting the city of Luminose. Allister is a shy ghost leader who loves to travel and hang out in haunted areas. Luminose’s ghost would be right up his alley of curiosity. In the anime, Allister has his ghastly line as well as his Cursola. In the manga and game, he also has a “yamask”. So here is the headcannon, Allister spends his time ghost hunting, and stumbles onto the lost ghost girl. She haunts as only a dead hex girl can, and instead of being afraid, he enjoys her company. When she finally decides to pass on, she is amazed to have become a yamask. She acts as Allister’s ace bodyguard and when not training with him she plays with his masks. Her hope is that he will become a yamask one day and they can float along cemeteries together.

- Chernabog x Maleficent (House of Mouse)- Watch House of Mouse’s villain episode. She is totally crushing on him, and he is a big fan of “her work.” Not all villains do the “romance thing,” but I can absolutely see them going on romantic flights to spread terror. Even a few of her orc soldiers look like the monsters he creates on Bald Mountain.

- Ghost Freak x Lydia (Danny Phantom)- This was a curious combo. Ghost Freak is a ringmaster of a ghost circus who used his cursed items to control ghosts, but even without such items Lydia stays by his side. Maybe he is that charismatic, or maybe she has bad taste. Or an even bigger story is hidden before the audience meets that pomp jerk. Only Lydia knows, and she aint saying.

- Iris x Misery (Ruby Gloom)- Two ace gal pals being a bit more. You really don’t see them fawning over anyone in the show. Iris loves excitement, and Misery loves her disastrous bad luck. I like to think Iris would get into a relationship with Misery not only because they are good friends, but she’d be hard pressed to find a lover who is even half exciting.

- Webbie x Lena (Ducktales)- Its cannon. You know it, I know it, the world knows it.

- Deadman x Orchid (DC)- This was a particularly cute nod in Justice League Dark. It was the reimagining of a classic DC heroine into being the living consciousness of the House of Mystery. One of the first things she did after taking a physical form is look at Deadman and going “Momma wants.” Much to Deadman’s embarrassment.

- Atem x Tea (Yugioh)- He treats her dreams with respect and rescued her from a kidnapping. I can absolutely see the attraction. My only concern is that to get to him, she’d have to use Yugi’s body as a conduit. Can’t tell if that would be considered a awkward threesome, or if Rebecca would approve. Still an interesting story to tell.

- Elsa x Grunt (ghoul school)- I gush a lot about Phantasma, but here is my next favorite of the girls. Elsa is a flesh golem and tech head of the Grimwood group. It was cute to see her getting along with the Muscle of Calloway called “Grunt.” Not sure if that’s his real name (and if so his parents must have hated him). I like to imagine if asked why she liked him, she’d point to a random body part and say “A part of me liked him.” Flesh golems are interesting because a writer can point if a skill or interest is literally their own, or a muscle memory from a donated organ.

-Wizardmon x Gatamon (Digimon)- In the anime he looks like a haunted ragdoll. That totally counts. Even after his death, Gatamon still held him close to the heart, and that was just too sweet for me. They needed more stories together.

- Sayo Aisaka x Asakura Kazumi (Negima)- Nice little background characters in one of my favorite animes. Sayo is the spirit of a dead student that in the beginning was only seen by the wizard Negami. With a lot of help fron the class, she is seen by everyone. She is even given dolls to possess, to interact with others. At the end of the story, it is said these two team up as investigative reporters. I can absolutely imagine them chatting with vampires and demons to get the bigger scoop.
