This semester dragged on a whoooole lot longer than I thought it was going to. Thank you to everyone who has kindly watched me during my absence, I really appreciate it.

I'll be asking those who contacted me in regards to commissions way back if they are still interested, but I don't think I'll have much time to open commissions again, considering how slow I work.

I would really like to try and do a few YCH auction sort of things if anyone would be interested? I have an idea for a really cute one, but not sure what I could offer naughty-wise. I'm open to your suggestions!

It's a shame to say this seeing as I haven't been too visibly productive, but I need to pause to get some outside things done and refuel. At this point I'm certain I've finished all commissions I've been paid for, but if I have forgotten you by chance please let me know. To those awaiting me, I have all your details saved and will notify you immediately upon return.

I am afraid I won't be able to take Halloween commissions, but I still want to doodle at least something for it. If you could see Kuki (nsfw) doing or wearing anything, what would it be?

I am alive...sort of.

As predicted, school has been taking up a lot of time and energy. I apologize for the inactivity.

Augh, I was really hoping to do Halloween themed stuff, but at this rate I'm no longer sure if I'll be able to. But knows, right?

On a random note, I wanted to confess that a major art pet peeve of mine? Is when a character design involves copious amounts of royal blue or red, and so help me if any of those two are combined with black. I find nothing more uncomfortable to color. Sorry to anyone out there who has any characters like this, it's nothing personal.

Are there any colors you can't stand?

Hello everyone,

If you haven't checked them out, I've made some {Shark Adoptables} that could use a good home. Price is $12 for each, and includes free additions and adjustments.

In other news, I'll begin fall semester tomorrow, which will mean my activity around here will slow down (and hopefully not to a complete halt). Not like I was the most active artist out there though lol.

I also regret to inform you that my full-body commissions will increase in price by $5, meaning they will now start at $15 USD. I really do pour the best of my time and effort into these images, so I do hope this price change will not deter you from commissioning me in the future. Despite all this, I do plan and hope to have a Halloween-themed sale in the future, so please look forward to it <3

Oh, and one question: Would anyone ever like me to offer character design commissions? Meaning I would Livestream while working on your character concept and have your input in actual time. I've done this for a few close friends and it has gone rather well to be honest. I would probably offer these very sparsely, however, since there is a lot of trial and error.

I figure I should write that I'm back home safe and sound from the camping trip. Back to arting as usual!

Let me tell you, camping out in the everglades in the middle of the summer is probably not the brightest idea. Like on a scale from 1 to Invading Russia in the Winter of bad idea-ness, that's like, well...just so you know, it's literally free this time of year for anyone who's crazy enough to do it.

However, we're probably the luckiest SOBs to have ever camped because there was a lovely breeze that kept the temperature cool and the mosquitoes away and it was like heaven on earth (ღ˘⌣˘ღ) ♫･*:.｡. .｡.:*･ 11/10 would do again (with the breeze).

Not to mention I actually saw stars and constellations, and meteors! °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°
I'm not sure why I love it so much, but dang is the night sky just gorgeous. Totally worth driving 40 miles into the wilderness for it.

The next morning the breeze was gone though, and we probably broke some record for fastest disassembling of a campsite lol.

Next goal is camping in the Mojave oh yeah :U

Hello~

Just writing to notify I'll be busy the next few days camping with a friend. I've been really trying to catch a glimpse of the annual Perseid meteor shower, but living in a city really diminishes any opportunity of doing so. So off to the wilderness for a few days to watch some shooting stars (hopefully)!

The second peak for the meteor shower is tonight from midnight 'til right before dawn EST, actually. So if you live in the northern hemisphere and can find a relatively dark place to watch it from, I suggest you give it a try if you have the chance. (^^)b

Oh! Friendly reminder that, yes, I am still offering full body commissions for just $10.

Working on a shark girl character design commission for  plu while listening to old Disney movie soundtracks.

Speaking of sharks, since it is shark week and all I'd love to create some unique shark adoptables. You know, different species and body types and whatnot that aren't recolors. I'd also will send buyers the original PSD files so they can alter colors on their own afterwards and whatnot.

Let me know what you think of the idea? Have no set idea for prices yet, but I like keeping things affordable.

This makes me happy, because she's really fun to draw,
except for her hair...which is a pain,
but I feel there's a lot I can do with her now that I have updated her design.

That and femboys! Which is another of my favorite things to draw lol

Finals have been eating me alive, but I have defeated most of them. I just have one more this next Tuesday and will have more free time to do stuff, which means hopefully more art and being active around here a little more.

There's just so much I want to improve on in my art. I need tons of practice.

I'm just sitting here and thinking...Feel free to ignore my ramblings.

I always find it pretty disheartening when an artist doesn't reply to comments. It kind of discourages me from leaving further comments on their work if they don't the time to read feedback. Is that just me who feels that way?

I mean, I don't mind this on a really popular artists' stuff though. They get a ton of comments so I can understand that they can't get back to every single person. Or if they're just really stupid comments like "Sexy~ *purr*" (no offense to anyone), but I mean, what about comments people honestly take the time out to put on their work? Not saying I always make insightful comments; it's more of just a casual observation.

Personally I love it when people leave comments on my work. Even the simple ones, although the more insightful they are the more insightful my response is too. I think it just feels nice to see someone took the time out to tell me what they feel. Favorites are appreciated too, but I don't always thank people for those personally. To me a favorite is akin to a poke on Facebook.

I know someone is going to say something like "What if we don't have the time to respond back?" To which I'll say well, you sure had enough time to put several hours of work into your art. I just think it's part of the whole experience of a website like this. You make art and people leave feedback. Even if it's not always something to help you improve, it's just nice to talk to people with the same interests, right?

I don't know, really. It just bothers me when it looks like an artist doesn't even skim the comments on their work and doesn't respond to at least a few things. It just looks bad. :/

I'm just going to end this here before I say anything else that could possibly offend people even though it was not my intention.

Now, the answer to the question is: Yes and no.

As I sit back and take a look at everything that happened since, I figured my art block was largely a result of many things changing in my life. Despite how much I personally didn't think too hard about all these things, they all took their toll on me. I won't go into too much detail, but my motivation to keep drawing was pretty much sucked right out of me.

Right now I'm trying to get myself out of this rut, so that's why I've been uploaded mainly sketches and unfinished art 'cause I'm still falling a bit short when it comes to being motivated to finish things. So yes, I am back in the sense I'll be posting here again and trying my best to comment on other's artwork and such, but I don't exactly have as much time as I used to. I'll try my best to avoid another absence like that again.

Thank you so much to my dear friends who keep supporting me to this day. I hope someday I can make you proud. (^^)

However, as I'm sure you've observed, I haven't uploaded anything in a year. This is because I've lost interest in drawing as of late, in other words I'm in the biggest art block I've ever experienced in my life. It's not pleasant at all.
