It’s been a while since I’ve made an update so I’ll give a quick summary of some things going on.

I’ll be committing to the new Amazon Effect comic throughout April, so commission openings will be delayed until May.

I’m working on a new YCH animation based off of the Space Jam Bugs growth scene. If you want a preview here’s the base so far.

I’ll be opening some slots for this YCH in limited capacity later this year (maybe 5 slots to start) and since this animation has a lot more moving parts and frames compared to the last flexing animation, it’ll cost more. I was thinking $120 for base with flats, more with shading since there’s going to be a lot of frames with shading. I won’t be taking characters with wings, complex tattoos or body patterns, or something that will be difficult to add to the animation without taking a lot of extra time.

I’ll post up a new journal when commissions are opening again. In the meantime, please message my commission manager and roommate  pyrohawk for questions.

Hi everyone, just giving a life update. I just want to say that after living in an apartment with  pyrohawk my roommate and commission manager, we are now glad to announce that we are going to be moving to a house he bought. I’ll be moving on the 11th and hopefully be back up and running early 13th or 14th if the internet is migrating as well in time.

Okay here's the story we are about to move out in 11 days and should be starting to pack our stuff but here's the big issue after we got the place to move my roommate had a job for income but after the black plague of death came out he was let go from his job and the place we was going to move wont let us move in unless he has a full time job so this might going to happen A he can fine a job before the dead line came that was are force to move out of this place and move to an other house or fine a house that would let us in at the 11th hour but don't know where to. Edger way if thinking of mailing me anything just don't for now.

It has come to my attention that many of you are asking for commissions and when the form shall be open again. Unfortunately, I have underestimated how long it would take to finish the projects I’ve dedicated myself to such as the AE comic, animations, and large batch commissions. Going forward, in the fairness of all those who want to commission me, there will be no more large batch commissions meaning there will be no more than 2 commissions per person until the next list is cycled in which they may sign up for 2 more again.

I am effectively ending the offering of comic commissions due to the large time sink into them as well as due to the lack of proper preparation on most commissioner’s parts (i.e. I’ve been simply instructed “I want a comic of X” but the commissioner has never prepped a script. I am simply left to guess how to layout page panels, what the dialogues are, and how to pose the characters).

As for animation commissions, due to the complexity of those as well as receiving requests similar to such as stated above regarding comics, I am effectively ending the offering of animations. These are a greater time sink than the comics and without proper planning much redrawing will be spent. Perhaps, in the future after an undetermined amount of time (possibly in the year 2022), I shall perhaps offer a single animation commission slot with the following prerequisites: 1. All negotiation for this must be done through my commission manager and roommate  pyrohawk 2. A properly written script must be made and reviewed with me and my manager. 3. A price tag of no less than $2,000 will be the starting price and it must be paid up front.

NOTE: Those who are on this list here https://docs.google.com/document/d/.....it?usp=sharing are exempt from the following above as I will follow through with what was originally promised. It will take time, but I will finish these commissions.

Commissions may open again near the middle or end of March 2020. I have not set a solid date yet and this may be subject to change depending on where my progress is after I finish these current commissions. This new opening will be limited and I will announce the opening for 20 slots (with a maximum of 2 entries per person, if someone submits 2 it will only count as 1 on the list) when the time comes. This will also be the final opening I will do before I introduce price changes.

In May, my lease at the current apartment I am staying in will be up. Due to the rising costs of rent, I will be seeking new residence potentially in a home as the rate of rent we are paying now actually surpasses that of a monthly home mortgage. I will announce when I am moving and when I can be set back up to continue after.

Hi everyone. It's been a while since I've posted a journal update. I'm still plucking through commissions that are left on the list. I've closed my commission form and all those that have filled out before the list has closed will eventually be reached. Please be patient as I am working my way through some large orders now and committing myself to the Amazon Effect comic project.

Going forward there will be some changes in 2020. I've taken a bit more than I could handle this year and I'll be adjusting the way I take comms and what comms I will take. I've experimented with animation commissions and comic commissions and these are very large time sinks. In the future, I may open up a special single animation commission or a comic commission slot. Please note this will have some requirements such as a prepared script and will come with a high price tag. Also note that there is no set price for these commissions as the price will vary based on complexity, hence the need for a script. Please ask my commission manager  pyrohawk if you have questions.

A few months ago I opened up a GoFundMe to secure funds to get a root canals/crowns done. Thanks to everyone that has chipped in for it. My teeth are fine now and I'm moving toward the next big step in my life: moving to an actual house. Rent has been spiking at a ridiculous rate where I live due to the suburban expansion and the apartment I've lived in now for almost 4 years is getting too costly to stay at. I'm working with my roommate to move to a home where we can have more room and a mortgage payment that's cheaper than the cost of rent.

As a result, I'll be reworking commission prices the next time I open up in 2020. It may not be January immediately. It may be February or March. Fear not, the prices are not going to rocket up to an astronomical amount. You may see small changes such as a $60 1-character shaded picture go to $70 instead.

So far we still had not gotten any news on my dental insurance seeing the folks at the office are slacking and way behind so I have no clue if I have any dental insurance at all so I still had to expect to pay full price of each my root canal and crowns and whats worst instead of two teeth is now THREE after my last clean up they found a hair friction on my back tooth seem I been grinding my teeth in sleep and no one told me to ware a mouth guard>:(

I need to put together a fundraiser for me to get major dental work done. I need to have a root canal and crowns put in and even with dental insurance, it's going beyond the scope of what I can hope to afford. Root canal on two teeth ($1,400 each for $2,800 total) and crowns ($700 per tooth for $1,400 total).

I will also need reconstruction on a chipped tooth and if it is beyond repairing, I will need to get an entire replacement tooth. None of which is covered by my dental insurance since this is considered cosmetic. This will come later, but for now I'm focused on only getting the root canal and crowns done. If I go over the goal, the extra will help pay toward this.

The target date for this is June 30th. I am hoping to get this dental work done, at the very least the root canal and crowns put in before the situation worsens and I end up in the hospital.

Some of you may remember I was originally scheduled to get weight loss surgery back in February but that was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. That time my insurance actually covered the whole thing, so I didn’t need to worry about costs for that. Now I’m on a tight diet program and I’ve lost 20 lbs since March.

What's angers me, depressed me, saddens me, annoyed me and confuse me to no end is that the video game industry is the only media companies in the world that could remove any of there physical media forever where in the books, tv, movie and the music industry you can both download and stream there medium on the any computer but also you can still get there physical medium. They are still making hard cover books with pages, you can still buy CD and some case real vinyl records, you can still buy DVD/ Blu-ray movies but for some ungodly reason the video gaming industry are just saying we don't care about video games as physical media just treat them as fast food items like a cheese burger and just eat them once and it's gone forever.

Just wanted to give an update to everyone about commissions. I been behind due to large projects and as a result I apologize for the lengthy wait that some of you are on the waitlist. As a result, I will no longer be taking comic or animation commissions due to time constraints. I may reopen for them later down the road, but for now it has been too much of a burden of time to do this. I will still be working on the Amazon Effect comic in the meantime.

Just a life update for everyone since I hadn't been posting these in a while. I'm going to get bariatric surgery to help with weight loss tomorrow morning.
