The Videocassette Recorder, a piece of technology already so obsolete you would be forgiven for not realizing it hadn’t died long ago, finally kicked it for good last Thursday, when Funai Corporation of Japan, the last known VCR manufacturer on the face of the Earth, announced it would cease production by the end of July. According to the New York Times, a company spokesperson said Funai will keep on selling VCRs “though its subsidiary until inventory runs out and will provide maintenance services as long as it can.”

The VCR is survived by the technologies that fueled its demise, which rule for now (the DVD), the foreseeable future (the DVR, streaming video) and probably forever (piracy). It was 60 years old

I had not talk about this on any of my Journal but some one said I should ask anyone here for some help in putting my collection together. Hers the back back story,

Many of you know Im a huge gamer in classic and retro gaming from the old Atari to the new Xbox but Im more an old school gamer but things had happen to me in the pass years. some of you know that back in 2014 my old roommate Keanu passed away and I had to move out to a cheaper rent place and doing so many of my old stuff had to be left behind and many got lost or worst stolin and alot are my old gaming stuff.

At first I didnt mind losing my old stuff seeing I had just lost my best friend and was not in the mood on older games stuff but now years passed and its so hard to fine any older gaming stuff that I lost and at worst having this sick feeling of may never see them again. Many things are holding me back in trying to buy them again but you already know I just moved and need to pay back all the commission art to already payed folks here and else where also living on SSI dont help out as well.

Some try to send me stuff but I never gave a full list oif what Im missing and now I thing I should post a WISH LIST of missing games and systems if anyone here has any of them would like send any to me I would be grateful.

Okay it's been more then a week but here's the stat on my progress on my moving and the payed commissions so far.

On the moving part I made it to Midlothian, Virginiaand moved in with  pyrohawk . And so far its seem to okay with some small hiccups like that I lost my Food Stamp account and need to fill in a new one ASAP and Im super low on food, Also not having a bed to sleep I been sleeping on the floor from May 23rd and dont know if this will hurt me in the long run but Ill try to hang on wish come to my second thing I need to talk about and that is the payed commissions see with some help from last month payed art from not just here but also at DA where I had 6 payed are and I need to get them out of the way in order for me to do more commissions and fast. Early today my old roommate's Aunt came to see me and she gave me a new Bluray of Star Wars The Force Awaken as a gift. This is my very first Bluray movie I ever own and do you know why cause I DON'T Own a Bluray player, EVER and now Im stuck with this and I really wanted to see it oh I know it also has the DVD copy disc but WAIT the DVD is just a bare bone movie but all the BONUS Extras are on the Bluray and none on the DVD. WTF MAN! I saw the movie like 5 times already and I really wanted to see Secrets of The Force Awakens Documentary and all the other others like the Deleted Scenes and the Making of BB-8 Oh and no I dont have a Playstation 3 or PS4 to play it as well. Oh well. Just wanted to tell you what I got today:P

Tell me is all Bluray/DVD box set has this one sided Extras only on the Bluray disc? How mean is that if you only have DVD and only get the movie but no other dvd disc to put on the Bonus stuff for anyone who dont own a Bluray player, thats sucks.

I set up this fundraiser for myself in order to collect funds for moving from Utah to Virginia since I'm needing a new place to live in, and leave the house I used to live with my friend. It would mean the world to me if you can help a humble artist like myself.

Believe it or not there are games Ive never played at all even if I'm a retro gamer and got a lot of gaming systems and been playing form 76 till today that dont mean I played EVERY video games out there and YES there are many to this day have never played or even know about.

There are way to many to list so Ill try to list the ones that I many of you may know of.

Ico -Playstation 2.
Never got to play the game and at first it looks very dull but now i regret my decisions.

Banjo-Kazooie - Nintendo 64.
Yeah never got the time to play it and by the time I wanted to get a copy of it it's too expensive to get one or for that matter trying to fine a copy.

Angry Birds - ISO.
Dont have a mobile Iphone to play it and yes I know there are other ways to play it now but again I just never got into the hype.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - PC.
Im a huge Star Wars fan but I never got a copy of the game on the PC and now Im using Linux I dont think Ill ever get to play it.

Shenmue - Deamcast.
At this time line bad things been happening to me and never got around to play it but once I did get the time I never found a copy of the game to this day.

Final Fantasy 7 - Playstation.
I once had it and left it unplayed till my ex-roommate came and moved in with me and ask if he wanted to play it and that was the last time I ever saw it and to this day I never played any of the Final Fantasy games from FF8 and beyond for Im still have not played 7 and man this game is now super hard to get a copy.

Minecraft - Any
Its Virtual Lego but why so many like this game? And oh don't have a Window to play it anyway.

Undertale's - Windows.
Okay I have NO idea what this game is or what's about BUT GOD DAMN there sooooo many fanart out there but its a window game so Ill never going to play it on Linux and even if I can I dont have the money to buy one on STEAM and for me I DONT even wanted to use STEAM, hate the idea of download games only I wanted a real copy of the game its like why should I play full price that for all it is are AIR. IHey gang I payed $60 for a cup-head full of air just look at the box art oh wait its air.

Also there are gaming systems that I dont even have so you KNOW there games I never got to play like

For month now Im using Castawesome on my Laptop Linux as Im live streaming I play some old videos in the backgound but many that see my streaming notes that all of my videos audios are off Sync and I know for a fact I seen other live streamers and there videos had there audio sync up right so I need tech support help on how to live up my audios with my videos. Ill be on my picarto page all day but wont stream untill I can get some help on how to lineup my audios.

I've read up on a couple of forums and found a couple of apparent solutions regarding the ffmpeg script:

Changing -ar 44100 to -a 44100
Setting FPS on output rather than input

Can't confirm these are fixes, but there's certainly an issue.

I don't alway ask for any help in fining games and or system for fearing of being a shame of any hand outs but after my roommate passing and being left alone at this house for xmas (the whole people at this house is going out for days) this year some told me that I should go out and just say it at worst Ill me not get any help but he said who knows. So why not and ask.

For years me and my friend where and still am are very low in any income and not up to date on gaming systems the only newest gaming console I have on Nintendo is the first WHITE Wii and a used Xbox 360 from day one I got them only have PS2 (First model).

But on to the NEW Nintendo I been seeing alot of new Nintendo Wii-U games that I still have never played Like Super Mario Bros U, Super Smash Bros, Super Mario Maker. And other Wii-U games I never even herd of like what the HELL is Splatoon? I mean god I seen a lot of fanart images online here at FA but I just done get it, what is it? 3rd person Shooter with paint like GOTCHA?

The last Mario Kart I played is N64, I still have not played any Mario Cart on Wii or Wii-U and man it looks fun to play. Also on handhelds thats also way behind the times the last one I got is Nintendo DS Lite with two games, Atari Greatest Hits and Crash Of The Titans. THAT IT! I dont have any of the newest DS line up from 3DS and so on.

I dont know how I evert going to get or fine a better cheap used Wii-U but if any could help me on getting a Wii-U and yes I know about the new NX coming soon but still.

And now on to the OLD Nintendo Im also looking for older Nintendo stuff more so on Japanese ones like Famicom games and or systems I have a Famicom one but its all yellowed and not working all that great but I have a bunch of Famicom carts to play like Super Mario and Metal Gear but Im still looking for ones I still dont have and if there any one here from Japan that could help me in getting some that would be helpful I made some list here on what type Im looking for.
