Happy new year, ladies and gents!
So... some of you may be wondering why I never followed up on that journal from forever ago. Well, I simply didn't get enough responses; months went by with no notes about it so I just sort of stopped looking. I have gotten a few since then, but, no offense to the submitters, all they really did was insult religion, and I don't really want to just be insulting.

Anyways, I've been getting the occasional comment on my personal account about how the group needs to be updated or needs submissions to be counted as a group. While I found no evidence of the latter in the TOS (if you know of a journal or something from the Admins saying this is the case, then please point me in the proper direction), and I'm not especially worried since the group has gone unbanned for awhile now and it's unlikely the admins don't know of its existence, I felt that it would at least make a few people feel relieved if something did get submitted. I have no real idea what to submit beyond random junk, though, so if anyone has any suggestions I'd be happy to take them, so long as it would be fully legal to do so.

If you want something of yours submitted, that's fine, but I'm going to have to lay down some rules that weren't in the last journal, since it was rushed and kinda poorly thought out.
1. It needs to pertain to atheism. I know I said that wasn't necessary in the last journal, but that was only on suggestion and was a bad idea in retrospect.
2. Don't just make something going "hurr hurr look at this dumb religious guy who is dumb for being religious." Be civil and intelligent! Write a story that presents atheism in a positive light while not belittling the more benevolent religious people, or just make a piece of artwork that you think represents furry atheism well. Have some standards, y'know what I mean?
3. Please, please proofread. I am something of a grammar, punctuation, and spelling Nazi, and while I could edit something small I wouldn't really have the patience for, say, a 100 page story.

Please send any suggestions to my personal account ( ericthemoogle), otherwise I might forget. Thank you for reading, and sorry for making it appear as though I've abandoned the group.

But it really just sort of slipped my mind.

Anyway, this journal's purpose is twofold. Firstly, I'm getting the past one off our page since it is woefully out of date.
Secondly, and more importantly,  gato909 suggested to me that I start submitting art and stories and things to the page, and I personally think that this is a pretty good idea, so here's how this is gonna work. If you have a piece of artwork or a story (both fictional and from the real world) you would like to see featured on the group's page, send a PM to the group (and my own account if you want to, but make sure the actual group gets it) about it and every Thursday (barring real life problems on my part) I will submit... well, pretty much anything that doesn't suck.

First off, thank you to all the (admittedly few) furs who have joined this group. Do what you can to spread the word about this place, and if you have any ideas to promote awareness of the group, please, let me know.
