Literally one of my favorite holidays is Thanksgiving. Few things beat good food, family and good company. I am thankful for coming as far as I have art wise and having the support of such wonderful followers as yourselves :3 Thank you soooo much. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. Patchwork Lurakits are strange creatures, so called for there "patchwork-like" markings, it almost seems as though they are sewn on. Almost otter-like, their fur is thick and waterproof. They have whiskers and ears like that of a cat, as well as exceptional hearing and eyesight. When not water-logged, the lurakits tail is large and fluffy, a recent development due to the more domesticated nature of the creatures lifestyle, spending more and more time on land.

Dwelling near freshwater streams, waterfalls and rivers, lurakits love water. They are excellent swimmers. If inspected closely, the lurakit's back paws have webbing to assist it in maneuvering underwater.

More recently, Lurakits have been found to create a kind of attachment to their favorite foods. In the wild this was less likely noticed because of the smaller range of food available to them. For this fact though many Lurakits grow up to be culinary geniuses.

Lurakits mating habits are often polyamorous. They spend time with many, accepting each other fully. When they are capable of reproducing, (only about three times a year) they may choose to spend most of their time with just one mate.

Like birds, amphibians and other oviparous animals, the Patchwork Lurakit lays eggs. At the most 3 at a time.

Really getting a little frustrated and discouraged about trying to commission people. I have paid for 2 badges from 2 separate people and one was over a month ago. I messaged the first person after 2 weeks and then again after ANOTHER 2 weeks and they didn't respond to me a second time. I don't want to seem pushy but I think some artists take on more than they can handle or care to do simply because they know they can get the free money.... -.- .. I guess I just need to quit wasting money on badges ^.^ ...*sigh*
