All day today I've been talking to people about what happened with Pewdiepie recently and everybody is following Markiplier's example by saying he deserves "Respect" for what he did.

Now all I think about is if that shit got revealed today, you all would have probably rushed to Psyguy's defense and claimed it was all one big joke. Hoohoo ha.ha.

"But Atma! That's a completely different thing altogether!" you might say! Maybe so, but that doesn't mean it or Pewdiepie, or Jontron with his recent shittery deserve respect. These people said and did dumb and hateful things. And while you all think you're being morally superior by defending Pewdiepie and Jontron or telling me "Ya gotta separate the performer from da person!" No. I'm doing what I was raised to do. I am reacting with disgust by these people's actions. Joke or no joke. I don't condone that any of you get mad and send them death and hate mail or anything, rather you should look at yourselves and ask "Should I continue following these people? Are they really still worthy of my respect for what they've said and done?" I've had to ask myself that everytime I found out an artist or spriter I admired turned out to be a smeghead. I understand a lot of you probably don't want to feel like you're being betrayed, or if you should feel like you're being a traitor to a person you look up to. But there's never a shortage of heroes. You can always find a wiser voice to derive wisdom from who probably deserves more respect than the people you think do.

You know the last time I made a journal post about the political landscape, I was in mourning, but remained optimistic that I am not alone in realizing just how America is going to shit. This optimism has not changed save for a bit of reality to sour it a bit. Said reality being that most of you don't really care about what happens from here on out. Whether it's because you've been tricked by the mainstream media into accepting their bullshit as a sort of stockholme syndrome effect, or that you'd rather focus on escapism than attempt to make reality just a little bit better than what it really is, or you just refused to vote because you're some crazy tinfoil hat wearing nutjob that thinks voting is a scam. Let me just say this to each and every one of those people out there who are shutting their ears, and proclaiming you're "Politically neutral"...

Don't give me the "But Hillary is worse! cuz private e-mail server!" bullshit. Because that tired argument right there just shoots yourselves in your stupid feet and contradicts your "Politically neutral" stance! Lastly, the man himself poo poo'd a massive petition signed that demanded he release his tax information. "If the president does it, it's not a crime" amirite?

Yeah. Kinda going through some stuff and re-planning some things. You'll also notice I've re-organized the archives a little. You see originally when I set out to make Outsiders I wasn't sure how long it was going to run or whatever. So I decided to go for six acts, paired up and split into three volumes. (Followed by gaiden stories and the finale movie, but we'll get into that later) As time went on, I realized how stupid that is and how much padding I would have to do to hold off on specific plot reveals. So now you're just going to get three acts.

Okay so last week, I typed out what I thought was an attempt at being hopeful and standing united as the country is likely going to go in the shitter. Embracing your fellow man regardless of color or creed, but tonight I'm in kind of a pissed off mood, because I want to talk about something related to that.

I'm going to make this very clear. I don't care who you voted for, or whether you're a democrat or a republican, conservative or liberal. I don't. What matters most to me is whether or not you're acting like an asshole. I don't want to name names, but I read back-to-back journal entries lately from an artist I recently started following. He outed himself as a "Fiscal Conservative" and then proceeded to explain why Trump in office is a good thing...and then it boiling down to "Because I get more money!" Nevermind the fact that in his previous journal, he pretty much wrote a whole diatribe on how "That's what you get for being offended HAR HAR SJWS AMIRITE?" I've chosen to un-follow this artist, and have removed his art from my favorites. Because I AM offended. I am offended because this artist believes that by saying whatever he wants, that it is likely he will get money out of me. He will not.


Now as I said before, I do not care what your political stance is. If you voted for Trump, then fine. Congratulations on your guy winning. However if you want to convince me that his term as president is for the best, I advise you do more than take cheap shots at people who are outraged at everything he has said, and everything he is promising to do that hurts people who are not in yours or his position. Much like how if you're an artist and you want to convince me to pay you for a commission, I advise having a pleasant and welcoming personality to back up your skills with a tablet.
