TL;DR: I'll be working to migrating to  ingtail in the very near future.

Long Version:

Posting this while in my car. So forgive the errors.

So, for the longest time, I've been migrating away from using 'AtomicCoon' as an online presence.

The more obvious reason being that I'm no longer a raccoon.

But the underlying and primary reason is being that after I learned that 'coon' was a racial slur against black people, I became real unease with having that being a part of my main name.

That's what lead me to becoming a liger. Well, that and it wasn't the species I chose. Raccoon as a fursona was kind of thrust onto me by my friend group, and I just rolled with it.

But I've been using the Ingtail moniker for a long while now. Any messenger app, Xbox, Steam, other art sites and stream sites. Ingtail works on my swipe keyboard for my phone. Hell, I don't even go by Atomic much anymore.

Straw that finally broke the camel's back was sitting in a stream of a commission i had in the works for a little while now. As i was leaving, the artist was wondering if i was the who actually ordered the piece.

So here i sit on the side of the road, between Instacart orders, creating my new home on FA and making this journal.

I'll likely spend tonight transferring the most recent ref sheets of my roster to  ingtail, along with some of my fave pieces of everyone, then setting up all the boring header stuff.

This account will basically server as an archive. Cause there's over a decade of stuff over here and I'm just gonna nuke it.

I'm curious of something.

So I can easily look at what the most favorites or the most viewed pieces in my gallery are. Well, less the most viewed. That could get slightly skewed by the number of times I've given out my ref sheets for commissions.

But which of my characters do you like the most? Like the least? What about them makes you go "I wanna see more of that?"

I try to keep a decent balance between who gets art. And I have ideas that I need to get fleshed out more. Including:

- Ivana's dom/sub relationship with Kamden and Carmen
- The budding relationship between Carmen, Sera and Grei.
- Chester and Kamden being more than roommates.
- Things that happen at both of the businesses created in universe.

But you know... so many ideas but money needs to be sent to important things first.

Well, time to bump my last journal. Geez, can't believe it has almost been a year since I became a liger.

Anywho, I wanted to let you folks know that I have a Tumblr for my characters. It serves three purposes:

1) It will give you an extra location to find my artwork postings outside of FurAffinity for whatever reason you deem relevant. Site down? Rather not be on FA anymore? Have at it.

2) The text posting format will allow me to toss random character interactions onto a visible surface. While this is slightly to give me a place to just store random potential commissions, it also helps me with world building in a way that FA doesn't support.

3) There's an ask tab active on page, so that you can pretty much ask my characters whatever, and they'll (within reason) answer it. This also doubles as giving me the chance to further develop the characters and the world they live in. Which is honestly America but less shitty.

So yeah, watches and asks would be real fucking neat-o. Please and thank you.

So.

I've been thinking about it for a while now. And I wanted to do a species change.

When I first was informed of the whole furry thing, the raccoon species was kinda thrust upon me. Something about having a funny reaction (at least amongst my friends) to a raccoon character lifting his skirt and showing off their erection. When I was exploring it at first, I know I picked up a tiger. Did the whole stolen art as an RP avatar thing. (It was 2005. DIfferent times.)

Clearly you've seen all of the characters that I've had made over the years. They've all have some aspect of me within them, be it some form of kink that I'm too scared to explore (Ivana) or them having been relevant for a good part of my life/hobbies (Greifer).

But a few years ago, I was reminded of the fact that my fursona's species and my race kind of have an awkward racial slur history to it. It didn't really bother me as much as it should have, but it was always kind of poking at the back of my mind every now and again. If you actually look at the handles I use outside of FA, just about all of them don't use the AtomicCoon moniker. It was a minor change to shift to the Ingtail persona. And of recent, I've felt that the physical representation of myself needed to change.

I'm not going to abandon this account. Mainly because I really don't want to go through the hassle of having to re-upload all of my art. At least not right now.

I'm also not getting rid of Atomic. I've had him for 14 years. He's almost old enough to buy cigarettes. Just need to figure out how to use him now. That'll be for another day, though.

So there are several pieces that I've gotten commissioned over the past little bit that were either group YCHs or were pieces for  ivanahewlett. So here I am to cross-post them via journal.

Summer Chatter is a piece of Ivana and her mother, Kamboja. I'm actually in the process of getting ref sheets done for both her mother and her father, Alexander. So expect to see more of them in the future ifyou go follow her page.

Sinister Girl is Ivana being Ivana, tbh.  morenor was kind enough to draw three poses: Casual wear, Nude, and Virgin Killer Sweater [link provided].

Untitled YCH (by  unicorntony) features Carmen in a ladies only waterfall setting. Oddly enough, she's the only non-mammal in the scene, which makes me wonder just what has she said or done to get into that club.

Green for Go is a written story, created by the ever talented  jeevestheroo (who is a bunny now). It details Greifer helping Sera fulfill a fantasy of hers, with the help of a couple of guys from their local gym. Themes include human/anthro, threesome, and roleplaying.

Early Bloomers is another YCH, this time by  morenor. Kamden got slotted into this one, as one of four cuties enjoying the mild spring weather and gathering flowers for jewelry. There is also a thick dick bird in there. Seriously, check it out.

And that's about everything for this update. We'll see if I make this a regular occurrence.

Seraphina 'Sera' Crenshaw Dating Greifer. Has a feeling that Ingtail wants to smash, but doesn't know how to approach it quite yet. Ivana is her body piercer. Doesn't know Kamden (yet).

Greifer 'Grei' Lang Dating Sera. Knows that Ingtail wants to smash his gf, but is keeping that detail secret because laughs. Knows of Ivana, quietly wishes to fuck her. Knows Kamden, as the Decidueye brings sweets by the club he bounces at.

Kamden Floyd Doesn't know Ingtail or Sera. Brings petit fours to the club Grei works to win their favor. Is Ivana's "pet."

Ivana Hewlett Is Ingtail's and Sera's piercer. Has a crush on Greifer. Takes her sexual frustrations out of Kamden.

Nothing has really changed, tbh. Still at the bakery, still getting commissions, not really writing.

So its pretty obvious what has been happening around here for the past week. I've done some of my own looking about and have my opinion on it and I'm keeping it to myself. But anyway...

So I'm in a public library as we speak, with FA running in SFW Mode.

My apartment is getting sprayed for pests. It was bad enough we only got a week's notice to move all the shit in our place to provide 3ft gaps between the baseboards and any object.

I had to move the bikes to the patio. along with the frame for our kitchenette table (as the top is all glass, so it just pulled off suction cups.)

My dresser in my closet (as we had to remove all items from closet floors) is currently on my patio. My bed is sitting in the living room. I decided to sleep on the futon last night, in couch mode, just so i didn't have to fight my mattress today. Also cause if i had slept in my bed, I would more than like still be asleep right now.

So I'm sitting in a cold library. Waiting for my card shop to open so that i can go hang out there until D&D tonight. Huzzah. :-[

-- Been playing Forza Horizon on the Xbox. Its fun. Straight forward, open world racer using all things Forza for the base. Got a racing club started up that's looking for recruits. So if you're playing it, hit me up.

-- Bouncing between the albums on my front page. Been listening a lot to Falling in Reverse. It has a lot of dark themes, but the music is catchy and I love the singer's voice. Easy to sing along with as it fits into my natural range. Here's the track that I'm liking the most, as I am a sucker for taking classical themes/timing and throwing it through the ringer.



Going to be house-sitting for the parent's over the start of the week. And also took some time away from work. I do need to think about getting a new job, but I'm just lazy. I know that's a bad trait to have, but hell, at least I can admit to it.

Once the weather warms up, I might go out and try and shoot some photos. I'm in a new area with new safe locations to explore.

Might also need to hook up with  seikoesquepayne next time he does some Urbex just so I can get out and shoot.

Also the fact that I haven't posted anything to this account for the better part of five months isn't helping either. Well, thus what happens when you move out and spend art money on things like food and rent. :3
