So I started smoking pot earlier this month. I still function, as I barely do it. More used as an alt to drinking, but whatever. Moving on with the story.

Cooking some food after smoking a bowl. One of the plates for the Foreman Grill, causing it to break. This awoke my Dad (light sleeper,) who then used the bathroom. His bathroom is in the process of being remodeled, meaning he has to use the guest bathroom. Which is right next to my room.

So I've been given my on reprieve. If I'm busted again, my ass is on the streets. His words exactly.

I do it to myself all the time. But lately, I just stopped caring. Having to deal with what I've had to deal with these past couples weeks at work is just tiring. Three people (including me) had to deal with deaths on some portion of their family. And I had to cover for one guys to allow him to go to his funeral. On the same day (as I found last minute) that I had to do mine

Same above mentioned guy is also a total ass-hat. He seems unable to figure this job, no one likes him, and one of them is probably going to blow the whistle to the point that he (finally) gets his ass fired. But that would put me in the 'Head Nighttime Sous chef' role that i don't want.

Fuck, even the Assistant Nighttime Sous Chef' position I'm at now is fucking hell. Especially since I have to deal witth horrible communication between my self and the higher-ups (the day-night liaison and our boss respectively) and the fact that drama building major. Our dishwasher is leaving, and our boss is working on getting a cleaning crew to take over. Yet we have only one dishwasher now, who's stressed from working an effective three jobs, and she expects us to help her.

Please note that she put in her two weeks notice before-hand, knew for a fact that she would be working by herself (and has done so in the past) and her last day is Thursday. She's just turned into a stuck up little brat over the past few days, causing a fuss until she gets her way.

Then there's just..... everything.

Fuck. Think my buzz is starting to work against me now. I think I'm gonna go to bed before i turn into in crying blob. That might happen anyway.

I did one load of laundry. mainly because I really need some clean towels for when I get out the shower.

I was awake and asleep a lot. This between bouts of listening to music on the laptop. Most workout I've put this unit through since I've gotten it. Also played a few flash games.

Now I'm gonna find something to much on, as I've eaten one thing all day today (and I had to cook for the family.) Then I'm gonna beat up some dudes on Blur.

Today i did practically nothing. Its nice to be able to do it and not get belittled for it.

I always get it when i have nothing going on. Unfortunately it also gives me time to think.

And I'm thinking that I'm not good enough for anything nowadays.

What few friends I do have I'm starting to become distant from. Mainly cause one is a bit of an ass and the other is a womanizer. I'm not only much anymore. I haven't loaded a MUCk client to my new laptop and I'm debating if I really want to anymore. I don't play as myself and Ivana's gotten a little stale with the clicke nature that Taps tends to garner.

I don't know. Maybe its just that I'm paranoid or something. Insomnia tends to make me have these feelings the most. But I can't really get any sleep nowadays. I'm working an almost guaranteed 40 hrs/week at my job. I got sent home early two days in a row and still clocked overtime, that's how ridiculous my hours situation is.

And I can't simply get a day to myself anymore. I either spend it doing chores or being belittled by my mother to do this or that. Or why I'm not working on getting out of the house or something along those lines.

Maybe i should clean my room. Being able to see my floor, sleeping on clean sheets and getting the rust stains out my shower may help my self esteem. Or something like that,

So my sleep schedule is in ruins.

Been going to bed for the past five days no earlier than 4AM. I've been stressing out from work, as I've been covering the slack of the dude that broke his finger earlier this month.

I had to pick up a day this week to cover for him taking his GF to a funeral she needs to attend. And now, I learn that I have a funeral to attend today as well.

I found out about it maybe an hour ago. I'm running on only 2.5 hours of sleep and my first cup of coffee.

And to top it all off, my pay check hasn't been deposited into my account yet. So I need to bite the bullet and play 'Clearance Roulette' with which happens first: Pay check that's in limbo going into account or gas purchase asking for money and over-drafting my account.

Least my check is fucking massive. too bad most of its gone already. <.<

So I was reminded that one of my relatives has been living with cancer for the past four years. I had completely forgotten for two reasons:

A) It was four years ago. While this is something that's kinda hard to forget about, I have a pretty shit memory. and it likes directly to reason B;

B) I don't see a lot of my extended family due to my work schedule. Hell, I don't see a lot of the family I live with due to my schedule. If I could of been able to see folks on a more regular basis, I'd feel more in the loop about stuff like this.

Well i just learned that she went back and forth between home and the hospital at the beginning of the week. And right now, she's still there. Waiting to be transported to a hospice.

~sighs~ I know of several people right now who are having worse days than, but this is bad for me. Its another relative that I liked. One that I probably don't wanna see in her condition, which apparently is pretty bad....

this is why I hate being out of the loop. And why I'm kinda glad not to be in it at the same time.

Just finished creating the System Restore discs. Now for the fun part: Getting every single program I normally install installed on it.

The trick is that Office 2003 doesn't work w/ Windows 7. Gotta find a torrent for it, since I'd rather not pay $150 for a copy. :D

I had one day off this week. Tonight was the last night I had to fly solo. Both nights were... manageable. One was huge, the night tonight was more realistic.

I ended up finishing the week with 51 hours and change.

That's right. I made over 11 hours of overtime. I have 11 hours on my next paycheck rated at $16.50/hr.

Holy shit.

I already decided I'm spending it on a laptop. Wal*Mart has the same model that my Dad got for Christmas at a real good price. Assuming they still have it, that's the one I'm getting.

Fuck.

So our head sous chef is in Florida for the week. Taking his vacation now, since it'll be heel to do his vacation come later in the year. This leaves the Weekend (#2) Sous Chef as the No. 1, and bumps me from the #3 to the #2 guy.

On Wednesday, my boss gets a phone call. The said Sous Chef was trying to catch the harness for his parent's rather large dog. Only one finger caught the harness, dislocating both knuckles and breaking the middle bone.

So I have become the #1 guy when it comes to just about everything. I will be for about a week. I'll only get one day off this week.

~sighs~ Even the pay jump I'm getting might not be worth it.....

Need to go to bed. I need to work on yard work over the next couple days.

After getting my Zune to co-operate, I got the majority of my music back onto my computer.

The final percent guess would be about 98%. A handful of tracks were corrupted.

But when I finished that, I noticed that most of the stuff didn't agree with the Zune tagging system. And it left a lot of ghosts (unknown album details for known/labeled tracks) on the software.

So after about 4 hours of re-downloading, re-tagging with Mp3tag, downloading proper/preferred albums and just plan sorting, the music that's on my MP3 player now matches itself proper. And I deleted/reloaded the stuff that would cause my Zune to free due to corrupted data.

I still have a couple albums to redo. But its now 6AM, and I have to be into work in about 8 hours for extended duty training. Glee.

Things that I'm working on right now.

-- Not spending money. Which isn't hard to do when you only $2 in the bank account. No, I am not asking for donations. I only work one more day this week, have enough gas to get me to Saturday, and get paid this week. I think I can manage a couple days without fast food.

-- Reloading my computer with music. Step One in this equation involves getting all my music off of my Zune and onto my HD. And with the open sharing concept that Zune has, I can actually download all the music from my Zune and implant it to my hard drive. Some of it I need to re-download/re-rip due to corrupted data, but its not biggie. Just need to get the bulk that I listen to back in a place where its considered copied.

-- Dungeons and Dragons. My campaign is about to start another road trip. My half-dragon is about to go nutty with the multi-classing, so I put a freeze on him. A return trip to the 'base town' of Arundél (pronounced air-un-dell) will get him set right.

Also in the process of updating my generics using laws possible within DnD. Meaning my Warforged Fighter just got a nice enhancement bonus to his AC (since his body is considered armor), my Human Fighter and Half-Elf Sorcerer are getting rerolled stats, and all units getting Masterwork and/or low-level magic weapons/armor/wondrous items. And if you're about to get on me about giving NPC's stuff like that, I should note that my campaign rarely hands out large amount of coin. And when I do, its more than they can logically care.

They're gonna have fun trying to figure out how they're gonna get about 5 tons worth of gold back to Arundél. :D

-- Alcohol and Things. Need to work on making a new batch of home brew. I'll worry about that later.

All I want to do is figure out what kind of Graphics card can just drop right into my ACER Veriton 7500G, so I can consider getting Second Life or not.

Looks like my computer is deciding to let me run Windows again. Got an anti-virus back on it, need to get a spyware now.

Also need to keep working on updates and overall rebuilding. Still need to get:

Gonna revert to list format here. Its how I think at times, and works best for just saying shit.

-- Considering getting my computer back up and running. got Windows reinstalled on it. again. Need to find the driver disk for my wireless reciever again. Hopefully this time, the install will last longer than 4 days.

-- Getting close to wrapping up another segment of my D&D campaign. My group is in the midst of the final fight. The rogue is dead, leaving them with only three members and a couple of summons/skeletons.

-- Also taking a couple weeks off from said D&D related stuff. One of the weeks is gonna be used for getting out. Which probably means hitting a bar w/  toonces again. It was major fun last time, and I could stand to treat someone, since he treated me.

-- Week after that is the gaming meet at Milt's place. Gonna see if  toonces wants to come. I know for a fact that I'm picking up  loth and dragging him off for fun again.

-- I need to get back to work on Pokemon. Two of my friends have already beaten the Elite 4 post Kanto, and I still haven't cleared the Johto region yet. But least I already have the new PokeWalker route. I know for a fact that neither of them can access Nintendo WiFi.

-- I love how my DS (the original one) can access the Nintendo WiFi Connection from my home network.

-- Dad mentioned that Mom has been waiting for an answer from me about my education since Feb. I'm getting tired of being pestered left and right about moving on with my life in some way or form. I know they want me to be able to succeed in life... But I already wasted a lot of time/money chasing a career that I didn't want anymore.

-- For the record, yes. I know that life won't be handed to me on a silver platter or with the luck of a lotto ticket. but I figure that if I'm gonna dedicate time/effort towards a better life for myself, least have it do something that I'd enjoy.

-- I might actually try and get a new story written up. Mainly cause there's a commission idea floating in my head involving  ivanahewlett, an alleyway and lots of blood.

-- Also: New commissions have been recently posted to Ivana's page. use the link above or below to access it.

-- I really need to work on getting porn of my guys. but money needs to go elsewhere first/ Bills are serious business, you know.

-- I've decided. I'm going to FurFright this year over Anthrocon. As much as I know many a people there, and love the big social aspect, I just wanna try something new this year. Besides, I only take a vacation once a year anyway. Why not have it be some place not during the summer. XD

Alright, I'm getting distracted now. Gonna watch NCIS on the On Demand and ponder sleep. Night, folks.

So I downloaded the demo for Blur last night.

Its kind of like a combination of Need For Speed and mario kart.

And it is awesome. there are a couple things that could be better from the racing aspect (like the drifting mechanics), but its a really fun game at the moment.

It does have that Modern Warfare element to it. As in that the strong suit of the game is the online multiplayer. Shouldn't hurt the sales of this game too badly, though. Plan on reserving it this pay day.

I have enough to put gas in my car, put $10 on my Smartrip card, and potentially get something to munch on while in the District.

Trying to decide on what convention to go to.

I kinda want to go to Anthrocon. Its a local (least to me) convention that I'm familiar with. plenty of folks know me there, a lot of the artists that I like attend it, and all that jazz. Problems being that I have no way of getting there yet, have to find a hotel room on my own, and its about three months down the road.

Though I've also been looking into Furfright. One of the folks I hung at a room party nat AC two years ago suggested I go to it. Its a smaller con compared to AC, it would be great to have something to do on Halloween this year, I'd have 6 months to prepare for it, and I like new experiences. The other side of the coin includes it being in Connecticut (holyshitfar!), and I'd be going into a situation where possibly would no no body, let alone the area.

Also: There's a rumor at my job that our boss won't let multiple people have the same days off anymore. And Milt has already put in his request off for a nerdcore convention in Florida. That's the exact same weekend as AC.

At the moment I'm leaning towards Furfright. Kind of 60/40.
