Better to start working on room space now than wait.

So my friend Milt won't be attending Anthrocon this year. Something about a nerdcore convention going on during pretty much the same week. So... this means I need to work on a new way up there and a place to stay when i get there.

Getting up there isn't an issue anymore. I'll be riding up on an Amtrak w/  toonces and one of his roomies. The room is still in the air, as he doesn't have room in his hotel room.

So... I'll be diggin through the forums for a while, hoping to get lucky. But i want to see if anyone on my watch list might be able to help me out. Redeeming qualities include:

-- I love showering. So much so that I do it daily.
-- I tend to go to parties in other peoples rooms.
-- Believe it or not, i don't take much space. I'll just have a clothing bag, my card playing stuff and possibly a sleeping bag (if I don't get a bed).
-- I don't mind sleeping on the floor. Just a heads-up of such would be greatly appreciated (so I can plan for a sleeping bag.)
-- I promise I won't hit on you. Unless you're cute and don't have a significant other of any degree. Then I still might not hit on you. :D

Worth a shot on here. Gonna keep working on the forums in the next couple days.

Yep. No computer again.

Reinstalled Windows on it. In less than three days with nothing installed on it, let alone deleting...

Matter of fact, I did a Windows Update. Rebooted afterwards, and the primary file for booting up was missing.

So i either have a hard drive, RAM or some other issue. Might just go about getting a new unit. Getting tired of the headaches. besides, 7 doesn't seem that bad. Using it on this laptop Dad got for Christmas. Don't see anything iffy about it so far.

Got Windows installed. had to do a full HD Reformat for it to take.

probably tomorrow, I'll hop back on Dad's Laptop. Kinda like how I am now. Use the space in either my BigAss JumpDrive (6GB plug-in external HD) or my flash drive to gather all the drivers and programs I can install without having to connect to the web. I want to have a spyware and an anti-virus running before I install my wireless adapter driver.

And need to get off this laptop. I can't stand how I can hit the Shift key and it not work half the time. This keyboard is too shallow for my liking.

Also: Working on SoulSilver right now. My current traveling members are Alignak (Chikorita), Talon (Pidgey), BiteYoFace (Rattata), Rocky (Onix) and Wooper. I haven't named him yet, cause I tought I woiuldn't get a use out of him. Then he saved my ass getting the Hive badge (oh Ground and your resistance to Poison.)

I also have a ringer in the works. I took Prometheus (Lvl. 100 Arcanine on Diamond) and bred him with my Ditto. Ended up getting a Hardy, Female Growlithe with Flare Blitz, Crunch and Iron Tail. All I would need to do is Heart Scale on Thunder Fang when she evoles and she'll be set,

I named her Bayonetta. :3

For those of you who chat with me on the messengers, don't expect me about for an unknown time.

My computer has yet again taken a dive. I'm in the process of formatting the OS Hard drive and reinstalling XP. I hope.

At the moment, I'm typing this on my Dad's laptop. if it can't take Windows again, then I'm gonna need to work on getting a new computer. or hoping  seikoesquepayne can be around one of these days so he could try and salvage something out of what I got now. Which isn't much. My tower is ancient in computer terms.

Really should just save a few hundred bucks and just buy a new tower. But that takes a level of patience that, frankly, I don't have. Do really need to consider something. Might get a laptop, cause I'm getting tired of dealing with a tower.

Somehow, my D:/ drive has been nuked.

This is the drive that has all my furry art, porn material, music, story files and DnD related stuff.

I have next to no back ups for this stuff. Not counting whats left on the HD, I have the following left:

-- 125 pictures in general (furry or otherwise) stored on my Zune.
-- 24 GB of music, stored on my Zune.
-- All my DnD related stuff, stored on an 8GB flash drive.

And it didn't disappear until after I tried to install a driver for my web cam. Then uninstalled it, since it was the wrong one.

The. Fuck.

I'm so fucking pissed right now, you have no idea. ~grumbles and sighs~ Guess its time to rebuild.....

So I got a bottle of Delirium Nocturnum, at a co-worker's suggestion. I couldn't go wrong, as he liked the last batch of home brew I made.

I'm only 1/2 way through the bottle. And I can already feel it. Seeing as its 8.5% by volume (17 proof), and I'm a little bit of a lightweight, I might be paying for it later.

It makes me sadface, actually. Arcanine gives me plenty of options. But Zapdos, not so much. The Legendary Birds need more love, dammit!

So some time last week, I broke the back off my office chair. Not too worried about it. i got the damn chair for free from an old friend (see 'Dude I was boning for the better part of a year') and didn't mind working a bit on my posture.

So just a few seconds ago I get frustrated with a Sharpie, get up to grab a new one, and figure I'd check FA in the process. So I flop onto my chair and lean back.

And fall straight off the back of it, landing in a crumpled heap on the floor against my bed. On top of my closed utility knife. Go me!

Also: D&D stuff. Working on the next few bits of campaign for my group. It will include:

-- Making a player go through the motions in order to do Feat Retraining.

-- Making a player have some fun learning about counter spell mechanics, along with how to make certain spells pass through small gaps.

-- Seeing about all four going on minor shopping sprees (They came across about 20,000 worth of gold and items not long ago. Along with one NPC scoring another 1,000 through gambling. And seeing as I haven't given them a huge payday since the beginning of the story, they ate it up quick.)

-- Mingling in aspects of one character's back story in order to set up a future adventure.

-- Future fight: A young adult Green dragon.

-- Future fight (after massive dungeon): A Lvl. 16 Sorcerer/Cleric that the group has seen before. Minor vendetta cause he summoned an Erinyes and fled. A Lvl. 14 Cleric/Fighter. Who used to be a Lvl 8 Cleric. That one of my players has a MAJOR vendetta against. Like.... to the point that he would make her his personal plaything instead of killing her.

I have weird players in my campaign. Should be fun.

Ugh. I hate being snowed in. Cause I don't have much to do around here.

Don't feel like going on Tapestries. Don't have any interest of playing one of the four video games I own for my 360. And the Live 1 vs. 100 game is moved to Sunday.

Nothing really on TV. Only thing of real interest is sports. And I don't feel like watching sports.

So I'm just here. Might go for a walk later, assuming it doesn't start to dump the white stuff.

Also: Anyone know where I can find great prices on ear jewelry? I'm trying to find a blue, a pink and a purple seamless/continuous/segment ring for my left ear. Problem is, a lot of the online stores either have no colored segment rings, or don't have pink. My piercing shop has the colors I want, but they want $35/each (galvanized titanium, autoclaving and install included).

The Good: My tickets for the March 3rd Muse show finally came in the mail today. They have that new ticket smell. Going to stick them in the safest place I know of: My pencil holder.

The As Good: Checked my bank account today. My minimal ($57) State Tax Return showed in my bank account. That gives me some money to pull out the ATM and stcik into my pocket,

The Annoying As Frak: My Federal is still pending. But I should have it by tomorrow. So at this point, I gotta just shrug it off and deal. o.o

So I'm looking at my bank account. At the moment I have like... $14 in it.

I see I have 3 pending transactions. Two of which are food stuff I brought throughout the day, so they were expected.

The third is a deposit. Of my Federal Tax Return. Which won't be cleared until Tuesday at the latest.

So I have a huuuuuge sum of what is officially my money that I can't have.

So I finally went to a Friday Night Magic event tonight. Was a bit of a bust.

I ended up going 1-5 with only one round won and my win coming from a bye. And it didn't help that I had to play both of the over-cocky high school jackasses. Both were probably under 16, and pretty much everyone hated them. It made me feel good that the guy who beat me in Round 1 had the chance to annihilate the ass I had to deal with in Round 2.

Plus side? Door prizes. This weekend is the 10th anniversary of the shop I played at. So I ended up getting a 9 promo cards, a commemorative 10-sided die, and a free playmat. So all in all, I got back the $10 I payed to get in.

I plan to go back next week. I just overhauled my Felidar deck, so I'll give it a shot tomorrow at the mall. Here's hoping.

Tax Season.

Well, mine are done. Federal Tax Return done for $15 through TurboTax (to transfer information over from last year.) MD State Return done for free through the Comptroller site.

My return is going to be a solid amount.

Solid enough for me to not only replace the three rings in my left ear, but also to get a 4-rung Jacob's Ladder. And also get a new reference sheet to reflect all of this on my character (as aside from my weight, he's stride for stride appearance-wise). And after all that, I'll be able to set aside money towards my Anthrocon '10 Fund.

Also: Need to get on Ticketmaster's case about the tickets to Muse in March. mainly as I've had the order placed for a month. I was even called not too long ago saying my information wasn't a 100% match. So I know for a fact they have my proper address.

Anyway, let me get some sleep. Tomorrow I have a paycheck to cash, two bills to pay, a haircut to obtain, and $100 worth of fun times for my 360 to acquire.

-- Stopped by Smokey Bones. 1/3 Brown Sugar St. Louis style ribs, 1/4 chicken (dark meat), fries and cinnamon apples. Yum.

-- Took down the inflatable Mickey Mouse in our front lawn, putting him back in his box.

-- Sanitized, prepped and bottle my Cherry Wheat beer. 10 bottles at 12 oz for Dad, carbonation tests and non-regular drinking friends. 22 bottles at 22 oz. for drinking co-workers and myself.

-- Got boxes out the attic for Mom to work on disassembling Christmas.

-- Cooked dinner for the family.

-- Went back over to / place. Jenn was still out of town, and Manda was more awake.

-- Played some Rummy, then watched Wanted.

-- Got gas, as it started snowing and didn't want my tank to freeze. Then drove on a back road to get home.

-- Tried to drift a parking lot. Spun out rather fast. Right in front of a cop. He didn't follow me out when I skittered with tail between legs.

-- Spun the car trying to get home. Twice.

-- Made this post.

* = I only had a $20. He didn't have change. And I wasn't gonna put a $.75 charge on my card. Gonna give him one of my beers tomorrow for being awesome.

** = My new days off are Wed/Fri. Yes, I lose the ability to have two days off in a row. But on the other hand, I fucking have Fridays off starting next week. I can attempt to have a social life again!

So my boss wants me to possibly change my schedule. From having Wed/Thurs off to Wed/Fri off. While this would give me a minor tinkling of having a life, it screws up my patter for doing my laundry and house work and the such.

The problem with this is that it wasn't my boss that asked me if I could change. one of my co-workers sent me a text message asking me for my boss. Which I find highly unprofessional. She has my number for both home and my cell phone, so there shouldn't be a reason why she didn't just call me.

On a different note, tomorrow I should be getting ready to bottle up my home brewed beer. This batch being a delicious smelling wheat beer, to which I'll be adding some cherry flavoring to convert into a Cherry Wheat. But alas, I just now noticed that I have no bottling sugar, which is a much needed item in order for carbonation to form inside the bottles. And the only place that I know I can easily get such an item is from my homebrew supply shop.

Which is literally down the block from my job. Its in the same business complex/strip mall like thing.

So guess I'll be talking to my boss tomorrow. ~sighs~
