So this actually started from a friend realising that a lot of old pics of Abby have her with the male Buizel pattern.

So in Pokemon, Some Pokemon have gender differences based on gender. Buizel Males have two circles on their back, females have one.

And Abby was sometimes drawn with two circles, and my friend said “Maybe she is trans?” And I thought that would be a fun if Abby was originally a male. Which… while also would be fun, would also make sense to her character.

Abby is a bit of a tomboy and also was born large, larger than her older brother.

But she wanted to transition post graduating from school and also dyed her hair blonde.

Though I should say, in the world they are in, they can magically transition with a complicated spell. But they forgot to change the back circles upon her back. She doesn’t notice for a while. But eventually she gets it changed. Which explains that some pics after before or after that.

Also yes, this also applies to her anthro form. Maybe explains that magic made her breasts so big.

But yes, this means Abby is canonically Trans Female. If anyone has any questions or observations about it, let me know :3

I am not sure about Abby’s sexuality though. I always saw her as bi but will think about it.

Okay so unfortunately I will be doing a gallery cleanup. I did think about doing a ticket to ask what exactly is not of the rules. But decided against it because of a few things:

1. My characters are not underage and unfortunately I don't want FA staff to dictate characters who are mine whether they are or not.. Cain is my age, due to being my sona so he is 27. I do not care what anybody else says, those are the cold hard truths. Abby is a only a year or two younger than Cain and you can tell by her Anthro Form that she is definitely not underage or looks it. She isn't anyways even if you want to use some kind of metric. Every single one of my characters are in their 20s or have lived for a very long time effectively. While they don't really have lore, that was always the intention.

2. I have a lot of art in my gallery and I don't really want half hearted judging. I'd rather it was a full clean sweep with each post checked and with *checks* 496 submissions. I can't really trust that. So I will take it in my own hands and do it myself. Though that does mean, any post that gets anything afterwards will be fought for. Or I am leaving. Simple as. Because I know my art and the characters used.

So finally. Do I agree with the update? No. I don't. It's way too vague and seems way too case by case basis. Basically hurts artists with a cute/chibi artstyle or a big following. Personally there are other problems FA should be tackling over alienating people who prefer a non anthro style. But that is just me.

That being said. I will be deleting some posts in a few weeks. If you want to save whatever, then you can do, I will give you time. I don't think I will be deleting too much? But I will be getting rid of any potentially risque infractions to protect myself. But like I said before, if they go for Cain, Abby, any of my characters, that's it, that is the breaking point and I will promise you that.

A few people probably don't know but I have moved out of my parents place recently and it is kinda cool.

Um... I dunno where I was going to go with this uh... I just thought I should make a journal so I did :0

After a while. I feel like I can finally write up my thoughts of what I think of Sword and Shield. I wanted to leave it for a bit and think about the game so I can have my definitive thoughts about the game in it's Pre-DLC state. It's not really a review as personally I just don't think it should be thought as a review. I won't be scoring anything, I'll just leave it up to what you think.

Alright so I will start with:

Story :0

Okay so they treat the Gym Challenge as kind of a sporting event in this game. Which I kind of like, I don't know if many people like this because most people don't like Sports who play these games. I think it makes sense, kinda giving me the anime vibe. So you are doing basically what you have been doing in Gens 1-6 and they don't really add much more. Team Yell don't add anything to the plot really and you will wonder why they were added in the first place. Macro Cosmos is only a last minute thing. So you can probably say this game kind of depends on the Gym angle a lot. While it adds a bit of a tournament at the end, it is still rather basic. I know people like basic Pokemon plots, I actually know someone who don't like BW's attempt at trying to make a more meaty plot. But considering the system jump, it's very obvious they didn't put much into it. Especially compared to Sun and Moon. Even if I bring in the finale with Chairman Rose... yeah it doesn't get much better. I think the stuff with Zacian/Zamazenta and Eternatus is cool, gives me Emerald vibes. But Rose just isn't developed enough to be a satisfying villain. The story just feels like it missed a third of it. The middle third. It just seems very tacked on because they know they have to have a villain. Which is why I said previously that Pokemon games don't need evil teams all the time. It just seems like a last minute addition now. The story isn't this game's strong suit. But it works if you want it simple. I would say this game's story had potential but I don't really know where they were going with it.

Characters :0

Okay so I think this game has pretty good characters. Shocking I know. This game gets a lot of flack for how 'annoying' Hop is, how out of nowhere Rose is or how the game is a bit too arrogant about Leon. But if you want my personal take? They aren't that bad... Though those criticisms are a little valid.

Hop is a weird one. If I had to describe him in one sentence I'd say "In your face". It's obvious that the game REALLY wants you to like Hop and Leon. Hop shows up every 2 minutes and battles you every 5 minutes and... Yes it is annoying but people pretend that previous rivals didn't do that. Barry, Cheren, Bianca and Hau in my opinion got a bit too many fights/screentime in their games. A lot of people compare him to Hau and I actually personally think Hop is done better than Hau. *GASP* Cain! You can't say that. I have my reasons, don't worry. Hop is given a satisfying conclusion. Hau doesn't. Even as the champion in USUM. Hau was even marketed in USUM as to have turned a new leaf, becoming serious and while he does develop to not be a carefree idiot all the time. I don't think he actually does??? Yes he gets serious at the final battle but he seems to be carefree as always after. Hau in my opinion is both Overhated and Overrated. I do understand why people like him more than Hop but he he just doesn't seem like a genuine character to me. Hop is someone that is living his dream, finally getting his chance to surpass his brother, of course he'd be overjoyed all the time. Hop grows on me the more then game progresses. Which is good. He even becomes a Pokemon Researcher. Which is neat. Honestly I kinda like him.

Leon... Like I said before it's obvious the game wants to think "WOW WHAT A BADASS. HE HAS A CHARIZARD WOOOOOW" and you just sigh and shake your head at how annoying the game is with it. They had a chance to make Leon have a bit more to his character near the end by making him have somewhat of a darker side, I think it would have been better if he knew about everything Rose had planned and he was fine with it because he'd always be the champion. But no... He is 100% a good guy and it's a bit annoying. It's also annoying that they showed him off in literally the first trailer of the game and HE IS THE CHAMPION and not have any twists with the character, it comes off as very marketed so you think "Oooo he'll be a villain because the media potrays him as a great guy!" GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE! YOU THINK CHARIZARD WOULD BE A BAD GUY!? SILLY AUDIENCE! NO TWISTS IN THIS STORY! I guess you could have argued it would have been too obvious but... Sometimes the obvious twist is the best one x3 So yeah he is the final boss. No Alder being beaten by N. Nothing. He is the final boss. That being said he still has more character than most of the champions, but like I said, being a flawless character isn't exactly good writing if you want to him to be likable. I know the game hints that he didn't like being champion that much in the post game but... I don't buy it. x3 You need to actually show that if you wanna go that angle.

Nobody really talks about Bede and Marnie that much. Like they know those two are pretty good but they only talk about Hop like he is the only rival and because he is so by the numbers most of the time. I can't exactly blame them since Marnie and Bede get hardly any screentime compared to Hop. Heck, Marnie and Bede are barely in the plot or finale. Which in Bede's case is a very big misstep and I'll explain why, basically Bede was a poor nobody until the Chairman Rose took him in and endorsed him into the Gym Challenge. Bede became loyal to Rose and saw that as him trusting Bede to take down the champion. Bede also was given the task to get more wishing stars but it ain't really that important. So because he was looked down his whole life, now he is in a position of power, he looks down on people like they looked down on him. But after you stop him breaking a wall, Opal develops his character by letting him show his true feelings, shown by him using Fairy Pokemon. It's pretty engaging honestly, admittedly they probably should have done a bit more with him (IE Finale with Rose). I do hope we get more in the DLC. Also Bede makes me like the Fairy Type more >.>

I don't really have much to say about Marnie but she is likable enough and I do think the whole having to win to appease the people who support you thing is compelling. As for the Gym leaders, they are likable. Though the exclusive ones seem to barely get any screen time (Wonder why :/), Opal and Piers are my favourites. Though the others aren't bad by any means.

Oh yeah the professors, Magnolia had no business being in the game, I actually forgot she was a professor. They should have made Sonia the professor the whole game really. She good, the whole thing with Leon is a little... Heartbreaking but yeah. Anyways I probably spent way too long on this. The characters are good, even ones I haven't mentioned. But like I said in the Story section, Rose had a missing link about him.

Gameplay :0

Okay so not much has changed here. They added Macro Trash. I mean the normies hate Dynamax because it's not Mega Evolution. Even though Megas had very underwhelming designs and destroyed the Pokemon canon (Thank you XY) and was horribly unbalanced until SM. (Thank you XY)

They added Max Raid battles. Pretty addicting to be fair though the AI is soooo stupid on your side. If you can team up with actual people, do so. It is recommended for sure. I do like the music and the camera movements. I don't have much to say other than well... Hope you like them because that's all you be doing once all the story stuff is done. But I digress. As a feature, I think it is more balanced than Z-Moves or Megas. Z-Moves while balanced kind of counted on you having high speed a lot. Megas... I think even people that love megas will admit were horribly unbalanced. The animations they give the trainers for each one are great. Very nice details. Probably the best part of this game honestly. I do think Max Raids at least should be a staple. BUT WE KNOW HOW THIS GOES I KNOW.

The Wild Area gets a lot of flack for being very... Uh... Unpolished. But I like it, All the music you get and everything. All the Pokemon walking around. Definitely gets an atmosphere. It ain't no Monster Hunter World of anything but it gets the job done albeit incredibly again... Unpolished.

They added things to make competitive easier to get into as well... Which is neat.

Music :0

Probably the best music since Gen 5. The towns, the wild area, the wild pokemon, the boss fights... All good. Battle Tower is perfection. THOUGH it does have the weakest Champion theme to date. Which is sad ;3;

*Sweating* Well um... You know uh... Yeah... Um... I THINK THE GRAPHIC ARE FINE. NOT AMAZING. NOT HORRIBLE. FINE. Do I wish Game Freak tried more and got rid of this shit engine? I would give a finger for them to just get rid of this crap engine and go back to sprites but here we are. I would say it is teetering to below average because I do... Do wish they didn't recycle everything in the game so much. You can get away with it with Sprites but not 3D. It's a problem I have had with all the 3D games, it's obvious they just haven't fully transitioned yet and don't really know how to make a 3D scape that well. The Pokemon animations are lifeless as ever, especially the Generation 1-6 Pokemon.

Dem Pokemons c:

A+ Pokemon honestly. Regional forms that aren't just Kanto. WAT. Gigantamax forms that actually include Pokemon the gen that mechanic came from. Ooo daring aren't we? I'm not going to pretend this shouldn't be the standard. I AM VERY glad that Game Freak has decided to give non Gen 1 gens some rep though... Though most Galarian forms are Kanto and a lot of the Gigantamax forms are Kanto... In fact only 2 of them are not either Gen 1 or 8 (Garbodor and Melmetal). Baby steps... Baby steps... The new Galarian evolutions are great. The Gigantamax forms are... good? Not great but good. The new Pokemon are SO GOOD. Other than a few ehs. I like em all really. Solid Pokemon this gen. Probably one of the better gens for it.

I liked it but I it probably the most flawed Pokemon game ever. Huh. The story is non existant, the characters can be annoying, the game is a bit unpolished and also the... Controversy thing. I am excited to see what the DLC brings and hopefully Buizel will be in. Maybe... Better be >:U

So that game was announced and people are livid. :0 As someone who tries every Pokemon game that comes out these days. I usually get excited over every prospect. The more that I look at these games, the more I get excited.

But I HOPE some things get added.

1. Post Game.

Pokemon Gen 1's Post Game is a absolute Failure. Sorry but it's true. You might as well delete your save and start again when you beat the champion after trading some of your Pokemon to Gen 7. Here is the list of things you can do when you beat Red/Blue/Yellow:

Catch Mewtwo
Complete Pokedex (You don't get a reward for it)
... Go against the Elite Four again... Uh...
...

Yeah. To be honest. Not a big fan of it. Fire Red and Leaf Green's after story content is pretty alright though. I just HOPE they aren't planning on being as true to the source material as possible (By making the game completely shallow).

2. Game Corner.

Listen. Don't blame Europe for taking away the Game Corner. Blame Game Freak for not thinking of a fun way to make use out of it without gambling... Okay you can blame us just a little. Basically I think they should find a way to make the Game Corner gamble free so they can actually do something with it this time around instead of just closing it down and removing it all together in the newer games.

Or you know. Just give us gambling. Sorry Game Freak but the Game Corner is part of Gen 1, you can't just outright remove it this time. You wanna please the genwunners... Don't you? :3c

3. Pikachu and Eevee Surfing mini game

If you didn't know. In Pokemon Yellow there is a surfing mini game that you needed to have a surfing Pikachu to do. You got this from doing a ridiculously hard challenge on Pokemon Stadium. In the 3DS Yellow though, you can do the minigame with just a normal Pikachu. Yay! :3 I would love to see this cute minigame back but in HD. If you wanna know where the Minigame is, it's south of Fuchsia City, on the beach.

4. Moar bawls.

I kinda hate that Pokemon GO had only the 3 standard balls. Give us more balls to use like... THE MASTER BA- Heal Ball c:

5. SPOOKY GHOSTS!

No Silph Scope ghosts please! They were super cool!

I do have other hopes but they are kinda small. I do have some fears though which are:

1. The game being short as hell.

You can literally skip Wild Pokemon all together. That could make the game extremely short (Especially with no post game)

2. No ORAS bullshit.

YES YES I KNOW I KEEP BRINGING THESE ABOMINATIONS UP BUT Don't make me have to beat Brawley to get to Slateport. Don't make me beat Winona to be able to go to Lillycove. Don't restrict the game which the originals didn't. If you restrict Gen 1 like that. Like you HAVE to beat Misty to leave Cerulean. Or you HAVE to do all this in a certain order. It ruins what Gen 1 is. An Adventure, not a straight line. It suffers more than Gen 3 if you do it.

3. Too easy.

To be honest... I think these games are going to be super easy and... It doesn't bother me that much with these kind of games but... Hopefully it will be a little hard sometimes? But if it's easy. Whatever.
