Well howdy. It's been a while since I posted a journal here!

I've been having issues with my tablet, the other day after completely removing all traces of the drivers off of my computer and doing a clean install, it seemed to have fixed the issue. Toward the end of working on that icon I just uploaded, the pen started sticking in eraser mode, even when my program had the pen selected. Only a reboot of my system fixed it. Then it started to lag badly. Now, it's right back to the same issue of my computer not recognizing the tablet when it's connected, thus killing all pen pressure sensitivity.

This is the reason I am open for traditional art commissions. This tablet is some weird off-brand one that my husband picked up since my bamboo died on me, and he doesn't know the first thing about digital art. It had good reviews, but not for art, more for people who like digital note-taking.

Anyway, I think I'm rambling, my thoughts don't stay clear very well lately. Need to make some cash to get a new tablet, need to sell some traditional commissions for that extra cash for said tablet.

We just moved into a new house, and there are no longer 2 computer set-ups crammed into a single room along with a dinning table and full livingroom set-up. Now I have my own office/art space! I would love to start streaming art again, and as rusty as I am at drawing now, my first few streams will be for freebies only! I've even been getting Sundays off the last 3 weeks, so hopefully that means more free time!

So my tablet died a couple weeks ago, so I am open for traditional marker/colored pencil artwork. Maybe some acrylics? I don't have a price sheet worked out for these just yet, but a full body would be around $30 no background and $20 halfbody pieces that can also be a badge. I can do busts and headshots for badges too. Just comment here if you're interested!

My old computer was getting...well...old. Now I have a brand new beast of a gaming PC with hand picked parts, lovingly assembled by my manface.

So yes. All the problems I had been having with the old one with streaming, and with some of my art programs just lagging out and not wanting to work, those should be things of the past. I haven't installed any art programs yet, or tried to set up my tablet. That should happen soon though.

I'm going to have a four day weekend next week, Thursday is chock full of busy things. But Friday I will be free! Time is TBA but probably around 2pm EST. I will stream all day, staying up as late as I can. I will probably also stream over the weekend!

I'm not ready to relive the past of my german family....

So I caught a bad case of bronchitis and it kept getting worse and worse because all my immediate neighbors in the apartment complex are heavy smokers. Even with the windows closed the smoke still somehow finds it's way in. There are no air vents or anything that connect the units, so I have no clue how it's happening. It's frustrating. I'm now suffering through the first asthma flare up I've had in over 15 years. It sucks. So I spent most of my time in bed during this. I haven't touched the internet at all, other than Facebook on my work breaks. Which I really shouldn't have been at work, but money is already too tight and I did miss a few days. Ugh.

Just letting people know where I've been and what's been up. I have a lot to catch up on. My energy levels are still really low, but I'm getting better.

Yea...I'll be 29 on the 28th...and I have the day after my birthday off because my manface wants to take me out. But I HAVE NO IDEA what we are doing. I don't like not knowing. But he loves surprises and almost never gets to do anything like that. So I'll live. It's just the curiosity that kills me!
