I'm totally going to focus on finding a style I feel totally comfortable with. The style I draw now, I can pump out some things I'm super proud of, but I have to be in a certain mood to make it look right, and certain things just give me issues. I feel like it shouldn't be like that! Not that it shouldn't be a lot of hard work, but that the style itself shouldn't trip me up as much as it does. As hard as I've been trying to kill it, I still notice some anime influences in there. I really want it to just be toony and cute and amazing. To be able to do both chibi and serious pieces, but super stylized. MY style. I know I have it in me to do this. I just need to do a lot of doodling, and daily. I've really been neglecting my talent lately, and I can feel the staleness settling in.

THIS WILL NOT AFFECT ME GETTING THINGS I OWE DONE. I'm already slower than poo on that anyway. And for that I apologize. I think, from now on, other than charms, I will only do stream commissions, since I usually get those done then and there with no issues. And traditional stuff. I'm still trying to get used to paint again. It's a harder thing to do than I thought. I totally forgot everything I knew about it, other than mixing paint and shading. My technique is dead, and I have no guidance to get me back on track. ;3; I'm wasting so much paint, I had to buy cheap cruddy ones to practice with.

I guess I fail at setting mouse traps or something, because all the kill traps I have set...yes I know, cruel but necessary, have the peanut butter licked clean and little poops all over them, like HAHA WE WIN all over...so I had to resort to glue traps. Man..I don't even know. I've live here for three years, and there's been the beginning and end of winter little breakouts that the mousetraps always worked and the landlords exterminator people could take care of from the outside. I've NEVER had them in the summer. And this is getting ridiculous. They're ALL OVER MY KITCHEN. Instead of just under the sink and the bottom of the pantry. I've found poops all over my floor and counters and I'm getting all freaked out and paranoid and stuff. I even found poops under my couch, so they're sneaking into my living room. If I didn't have a kid and a small dog I'd probably not freak so bad, but man, hanta virus and other stuff you can get from them, though unlikely, still not something I'm willing to deal with. I've wanted to move for a while now because my landlord is a jerk...but I've never wanted to move worse than I do now. >:C

So, I sorted through my drawer, shoebox, and random tins full of cards, and wound up with three shoeboxes of energy and trainer cards, 594 rare-ultra rare cards, and 153 holographic common and uncommon, and too many other common and uncommon to count right now...but my Ancient Mew card...that I got from going to see the first movie...it has a crease right through the middle. It was in a protective sleeve inside a portfolio at the bottom of a box that I guess when my ex moved out and went through things, it got moved slightly so it wasn't entirely flat anymore, and there was a book standing upright on top of it, and it creased the top three pages in the bottom right corner spot. SOOOOO pissed. Oh well.

THINKING ABOUT SELLING SOME OF THESE SUCKERS OFF! I have a complete Lugia and Ho-oh Legend cards set things. The Ho-oh I even have three of the bottom piece. xD I've got a few pictures, going to take more. Some I'm kinda iffy on and may want to keep, but who knows. I don't play, I know of no one else who does either, and they're just sitting around collecting dust. I'd be devastated if a mouse got in there and chewed them, or if they got ruined from humidity if the electricity went out so the AC quit for a day or something.

ANd that last bit. Yep. Still alive, just barely ever home.

Sorry I've not been online much lately. I've not been home much, and also, after a month of staying sober I've gone back to drinking WAAAAY too much. So my productivity has ground to a halt. I was hoping to do some this weekend, but I'm kinda still drunk from my last binge as I type, so yea. I'll try to get something done. I owe way too many raffle prizes, two trades and Chocolate Vixen's commissions I need to start on. Blah. I...I can't get this one person out of my head, even though I've been friend zoned. And at the risk of sounding like a crazy psycho stalker...no. He's said things that get my hopes up, but I know what he said before...blah. I guess one of the chicks I'm friends with was hanging out with him, with the hopes of getting some action, even though I told her he wasn't the type of person for that...and all he did was rant on about how he missed having me around for our gaming group. He may just be missing that extra person, you know, the more the merrier that sort of thing, but the fact she was pissed at me, and won't tell me everything he said, and has been avoiding me, I wonder....maybe he's just afraid of getting hurt again? And then when I asked him about it, he was like, "Well duh, of course I miss you!" I'm just confused, and my emotions suck, and alcohol only makes it better for a little while, and it's so expensive. Blah. Ok. Going to go listen to music and do some vent art. Later folks.

My auction is still going on! I know it's mostly advertised as free domo plush, but it's also a traditional full color picture and a sculpey charm for first place, and a full color picture for second place, and something else for third I think. Plus every 50 people who enter adds on a new art related prize!

My installer disc is defective, I guess that's what I get for burned copies...the key is authentic, but I guess it just doesn't like the disc.

Soooo, no photoshop, and SAI and Gimp aren't supported on Mac, sooooo. I don't know, I might do something with Autodesk Sketchbook, it's a pretty good program, I'm still just not all the used to it's set up, lay out, what have you...meh.

I guess the CS6 free beta is done now? I tried to open photoshop but it said the license had expired, and I see they're selling the full version on Adobe.com now? Gonna go install windows so I can use sai again. The stream I had planned to start now will be delayed however long all that takes. *cries*
