I dont usually make journals, but I am genuinely surprised at the level of whining from other Mass Effect 3 fans lately, Ive read countless journals (not mentioning any names of course) saying that they're getting screwed over because they think that multiplayer drastically effects the outcome of the single player. Im not talking about the actual endings of the game itself, Im talking about the complaints that say its impossible to get "the best ending" without playing the multi player.

A lot of people dont like the multiplayer for whatever reasons; maybe they dont like it, or they're not good at it, or they don't have internet access, or dont want to pay for the online fees, these are all reasonable objections, but what people dont seem to under stand is that the multiplayer aspect of Mass Effect 3 is COMPLETELY OPTIONAL. Yes, it does make fighting against the reapers much, much, MUCH easier, but its not a requirement. You can still get the best ending by only playing the single player aspect of the game. But please, dont take my word for it, take the time to read the easy to find FAQ on the ME3 website, and this forum post from the Senior Marketing Manager.

This part is less of a logical argument, and more of a rant.

I would like to talk to someone with the attitude of "Wow! A game where multiplayer affects the single player, but is not required? So even if i don't play it, i can still have the full single player experience? Cool! Thanks Bioware!" Or maybe "Wait, so the choices I make in previous games affect all the way up to the final game? That's amazing! So if i blast through the three games as fast as possible, ignoring all the side missions, I'll get a bad ending? Well that makes sense, it wouldnt be very fun if putting more time into the game and all its quests didn't effect the final result".

And if you couldn't guess what my list would be about then you must not know me very well. Anyway, i decided to make a list of my Fave Albums Of 2010, and from now on i might start doing individual album reviews, because it think it would be a lot of fun! And the reviews are more for me than anyone else, but if you like them, then woo hoo for yooooou.

Also, i didnt realize that 2010 was such a poor year for metal albums X_X during the formation of this list, i must have picked about 40 albums (no exaggeration) that i thought were from 2010, but were actually from 2009. So this list is basically any album from 2010 that i thought was mediocre, to pretty fucking good. Rating based on a scale from 1-10, 1 being i shoot myself in the head, 10 being i broke my neck from head banging and had to be taken to the hospital while listening to this album.

4. Witnessing The Fall - Svart Crown 8.5/10 (very impressive riffs, inspired by behemoth, morbid angel, and Swedish death metal in general)


5. Lawless Darkness - Watain 8.5/10 (finally, they're getting the recognition they deserve, truly skilled orthodox black metal)


6. Ominous Doctrines Of The Perpetual Mystical Macrocosm - Inquisition 8/10 (Long winded satanic song names, "frog vocals", but these are minor annoyance in the presence of riffs which are unique, enchanting, atmospheric, and mind expanding)

7. Monumentomb - Nominon 8/10 (Dirty, rugged, filthy Swedish Death metal....just the way i like it)


8. Fallen - Summon 8/10 (loud as hell! fast as fuck! US black metal that doesn't suck!)....sick rhymes right?


9. Polarity - Decrepit Birth 8/10 (This new fangled tech-death is pretty damn catchy, not to mention these new age death metal/hippies are fucking awesome)


10. Erebos - Hate 8/10 (A solid polish death metal release, although there's nothing more to say than that. Its very good, but doesn't do anything to try and achieve more.)


11. Insidious Dominion - Malevolent Creation 7.5/10 (a solid come back after a 3 year absence, but theirs no greatness here, its like they never left.)


12. Fi'mbulvintr - King Of Asgard 7.5/10 (Catchy, if almost a bit "pop like" viking metal, still enjoyable though.


13. Death Gods - Deathchain 7/10 (not their best album, but it was a good intro to the band, Deathchain is fucking sick!)


14. Demonicon - Besatt 6.5/10 (Enjoyable black metal performance, but there's room for improvement)


15. Road To The Octagon - Impaled Nazarene 6/10 ( i just started getting into this band, and their latest effort felt short and left me wanting more. Sure there's a few good songs here and there, but this album is nothing compared to their previous work, Manifest)

usually im not the type of person who gets a song stuck in their head, ive heard other people complain how annoying it was, but i couldnt really understand what they meant, because i dont think i had ever truly had a song stuck in my head....until now....its been about three weeks, and im still singing the tune.....

My friend showed me this song called, "The Duck Song".......and it is so catchy....sooo.....fucking....catchy.......its so childish, so simple, and so adorable, i cant get rid of that tune! ARRRRGGGHHHHH.....

Ever since i got a new anti-virus program thats better than Norton, ive just decided to let Norton until it expired (might as well have double the protection), but about 1 week after it expired, it started sending me the usual "Norton is no longer running, you system could be in danger!" i was like 'Yada yada yada' *Renew Later*.....but then i just got this message from my friendly anti-virus program....

Well the most exciting tour of the year (so far) has come and gone, and it was one of the fucking best shows ive ever been to! it was particularly long, meaning it started at 4pm, and finished at midnight. The Venue was pretty good actually, it was a bar called the Republic, it was small enough so that you could get right next to the stage, and even jump on it, but big enough to have a large and full crowd. And it was an 18+ show only, so there weren't any stupid little kids, which was a bonus!
