This will be one sketch, one linework and one full colour and full shade piece. I'm going to do a quick discount on these pieces as I'm also using them as examples for my own work.

Ask for their commissions page, tell them what you want and pay them for it.
Don't ask for free art, specially if you don't actually know them in any way. That just upsets them and makes them feel like they're worth way less than they are. They charge based on what they think is fair for the amount of time and effort they put into a piece for you, and likely, they're doing their art for a living. Lollll.

They take different amounts as a charge each month (even though I only have about the same amount each month, so it's not like they're charging me based on use or whatever. And no credit card that they'd be charging either). I'm very careful about only spending within the amount that I know for a fact I can spend, yet this time, they've decided to charge me *over 100$* for no reason, so now I'm very in the red. Please, god, consider buying an adopt or commissioning me or getting a YCH or something /: BOGO sale active for 2020 designs (cheaper of the two designs being bought are 50% off) and YCHs (ALL my active ones) are just 10 bucks for now (10 bucks/flat colour/full piece (all the characters pictured). Cum is always free, extreme body changes may cost you extra. Bat wings are fine, feathered wings will cost extra. No horses.)

General | Posted 5 years agoFirst off - if I were to offer writing commissions, can anyone give me a decent price estimation for how much I should charge for that? I’m figuring a set price per paragraph, but I’ve got no idea for actual amounts.
Second off - I’m thinking I should increase the costs of my art commissions, as well as update my examples. Like that traditional piece I use, I think that’s over 10 years old at this point. I also, though, feel like I’m charging very little considering the amount of time and effort I put into my work. Do you think the quality of my work is work a slight price hike? I have a handful of bases on my wish list, but I’m hella strapped for cash. I want to create more adopts for you guys, of a higher quality, and though I do adore the bars I have, I feel as though they’re getting a bit played out.
So here’s the deal.
I will do you a custom adopt based on your specifications, just for the price of any of the bases below. If the price of the base is more than I would normally charge for a custom, I’ll include one or two free outfit designs for said custom, depending on costs.
