So, I’m thinking about holding a design contest. I have a character I know I want to make, but I feel like I keep going back to old faithfuls in terms of design. I want something really different for this one. I know of a few specific features I want to have incorporated...

Do you guys think this is a good idea? I’m thinking the prize can be a free custom and a bonus full body, full shade commission.

I've been working on a game with a friend of mine for ages now, but now I feel like sort of delving into the nitty gritty bits and need to develop enemies for it. Different kinds of demons/fallen, primarily.

If you're interested, the story follows a nephil (their character) and an archangel (my boy Michael!) as they attempt to get into heaven to stop the apocalypse, essentially. We have the entire first area mostly done (there's going to be some work still done on it, as well as additional art and stuff), but I need ideas for the following:

-Recovery items (currently, we have things like burgers, chamomile tea, soda and energy drinks)
-Enemies (currently only low-level demons with no real design and hellhounds, which also have no design)
-Battle mechanics for one of the final bosses (we have a boss rush towards the end, which features each of the royals of hell. Greed is the one I'm stuck for, as I can't figure out any details for the character themselves beyond their design??)
-Probably additional puzzles could be useful, too

Commissions:
-I will accept payment in CAD or USD
-You may use my work however you wish, but you absolutely must credit me wherever you repost it
-If the commission is done on a base, just credit me for colours and any linework edits I've done. You can check in the desciptions of my works where a base is from, please make sure you credit original artists
-For commissions over 50 dollars, I will allow you to pay half before and half after the piece is finished. I get 50 bucks is a lot, that's no issue to me!
-Complicated poses will require a pose reference. I've had difficulty in the past where I couldn't recreate a pose a person was picturing quite right, and had to redo the pose multiple times, and it was a frustration for all involved ):
-I can work from an incredibly detailed description of a character if they are humanoid (I will add an additional fee for this), but for anthro I will require a reference. Ref sheets are preferred in both cases, but I can also work from a picture that shows the character design as thoroughly as possible.

YCHs:
-You may repost the work I've done for you, but please credit me (and, if applicable, the person who did the linework)
-If bidding on an auction, ONLY bid if you have the money to. If something comes up and you can't pay when the time comes, I understand, just please send me a note. Don't hide your comment or ghost me, that will get you banned from auctions in the future.
-Please be prepared to supply a reference.
-I can generally change things in a YCH (ie; make a form more muscular, increase breast size, add a dick, etc) but I will not do extreme body types. I can't do macro muscles, dicks the size of the character's torso, or breasts that touch the floor when the character is standing normally. Gender can be fluid in most of my pieces, though sex might not be. (ie; a boobjob YCH will require a character with breasts and a character with a dick)

Customs:
-You may repost my work if you win or purchase a custom from me, but please credit me (and the base creator, if applicable)
-Be prepared to give me a very detailed description of what you want (unless you want just one specific feature/it's for a closed species, and you don't really know what you want besides a character in general)
-If you want the custom done on a base, please be prepared to show me which base it is you want. If you want one I don't have, which I will tell you, please be prepared to include the cost of the base in the cost of the custom
-NSFW references, back views, and expression will cost extra. Colour palettes are free, but need to be asked for.
-Off base customs can be done, but will cost extra.
-Ferals will cost extra and will likely take longer to create.
-I would love to see the first time you draw the character, or get them drawn! This isn't a requirement, but I'd just love to see the piece and how you develop the character.

Adopts:
-As with YCH auctions, please don't bid unless you have the cash to
-You may repost the adopt wherever you want, so long as you credit me (and, when applicable, the base artist)
-Off base adopts are going to cost extra. That's just how it is, as I put more effort into them and they likely took longer to make (ie; on-base adopts, where I did very little edits, take me around 15 minutes. Off base adopts can take me an hour or two.)
-I can do small changes to the adopt for you, if it's flat coloured (colour changes, small proportional changes). However, if the piece is shaded, I can't really change much.
-If you purchase an adopt from me, you can also make edits to your design on your own - however, I request you don't change them to be unrecognizable from what you originally bought. Because, I mean, what's the point of having purchased the design in the first place?
-Adopts which were once OCs of mine may come with a name, backstory, personality, etc. You will receive those with purchase, however it's not at all required that you use them. You can do whatever you choose with these characters, and change the story, etc. as much as you like!

I've been listening to the soundtrack to Heathers while I work on this current card commission and I was wondering if anyone would like YCHs based on each of the sounds from the soundtrack? Some of them would include sensitive content like implied suicide and murder, some would be sexual and blah blah blah. What do you guys think? (Also I heckin love Heathers, that's why I'm thinking about it)

Soooo...I’m real frustrated. The person I’m trying to buy an outfit adopt off for my new boy, Castor, isn’t answering me. On further inspection, it seems they’ve been MIA since June. I’m struggling to decide on the kind of costume design I want to do myself, too, which doesn’t help.

Here’s how I’m gonna solve this conundrum though, I think. If someone is willing to help design his costume (please show me examples of your work), I’ll allow them to have any one of my adopts for free. Yes, even the expensive ones. ✌️✨ three way trades are fine with me, too, or regifting an outfit design in return for the adopt, I’m just. Gah. You feel me?

How do you keep Fur Affinity from rotating pieces. Seriously. It keeps turning my drawing I just finished on its side from mobile and it’s, not sideways in my photos. Or when I send it on discord. T: it’s really frustrating.
