Posted 12 years agoWell I couldn't resist the urge to watch SAO online anymore and watched episodes 4-10. I have to say I haven't been so pleasantly surpassed with an anime sine I first watched Eureka 7. Its just a damn near perfect anime (though like anything else its not for everyone). It has found the balance between action, drama, and love with a pinch of comic relief/ pervyness thrown in for good measure.
Episodes 4 and on start to get into the real meat of the first arc's story, and I couldn't have enjoyed watching them more. There are several new characters (most females) who show off more professions and Kirito begins to mature. Asuna also returns and her character is fleshed out, showing how real and believeable she is. If you would like to watch I found eps 1-17 on DAISUKI (along with all of Zeta Gundam, ZZ Gundam, and Gundam SEED remastered). The videoes are in jp, but subbed expertly. Sword Art Online
Posted 12 years agoAfter watching the first three episodes on Toonami, I have to say its very close to my favorite anime ever (Hard for me a fan boy to put anything above Gundam lol). It just has the perfect mix of action, physiology, and plot. I can't wait to see more, its so very hard to resist watching online or reading the wiki a head of the weekly showing.

Looking for hard to find Xbox DLC for WWII plane game
Posted 13 years agoHey guys, kinda in a wanting mood right now. I have always been a huge fan of the old Lucas Arts game Secret Weapons over Normandy. I have it for PS2 and had it for Xbox (Sadly broke in a move).
Well I am searching for another Xbox copy right now, and I remembered the Xbox version had a fair amount of DLC I was never able to get. So I am asking, does anyone have it and is the data able to be copied to one of the old xbox memory cards? If so I would really like to get a copy of the game data, willing to offer $20-$25 bucks in the form of any gift card you would like, such as PSN card or I-tunes cards. (No bank account, I normally just pay cash for stuff).
If you have the data please reply to this journal or note me, thanks ^^

Posted 13 years agoI got quite the shock last night around Midnight. Cartoon Newtwork's Adult Swim block switched to an old Toonami format, brought back Tom and everything. Most of the Toonami footage was old, but they have a few new bumbs that Tom narrated (Mostly telling you to buy the DVDs of the classic shows they were running, a review of Mass Effect 3, and a Toonami bump for the next episode of Bleach). They had a wonderful 6 hour block with shows ranging from DBZ and Trigun, to Outlaw Star and Gundam Wing.
I have to say, it was one of the best things Cartoon Network has done in ages. I stayed up till 6 am just so I could watch the entire thing. It really reminded me how much better they were a few years ago, and its doubtful they will be that good again. But I was very grateful that, even for one night, I could take in the nostalgia.

Well, this is new.
Posted 14 years agoSo...some kinda crazy stuff has been happening at my local schools. On Tuesday Jan 10th there was a bomb threat against the middle school. Nothing was found, but it was a big shock because nothing like that happens around here. Well Today, Jan 13th, The High school and an Elementary School on the same grounds are on lock down because someone called in saying someone was going to assault one of the schools with an AK-47 Assault Riffle. So far, according to the local fox affiliate, nothing has been found.
This is just kinda surreal for me because I graduated from the High School not too long ago, and nothing close to this happened. 1 years after I left, a drug search found a student with a lot of controlled substances in his locker, and now all of this. Seems stuff is really starting to go down hill. Its a real shame.

Posted 14 years agoDan Weldon, Indy car champion and two time Indianapolis 500 winner, passed away today from injuries he suffered on a lap 12 incident at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He had passed 10 cars before the incident...and I like to think he was having the time of his life...He will be remembered like all winners of the 500, immortalized on the Borg Warner Trophy...and held in the hearts of his fans. It is indeed a sad day in the racing world...

Posted 14 years agoWell, I was looking through Gran Turismo car lists on the web. I was looking for a list of Racing Modified cars when I found a list of Stealth Mode cars. I saw the four SM cars I am familiar with when I saw that Europe had SM versions of the Mazda 787B and The Audi R10 TDi. I would kill to get my hands on a Audi R10 SM. Curse you Polyphony Digital marketing department!
