Not been in the fandom for a long while now due to lots of things I've needed to do, but that's okay!
I do art, I do write, I live. I'm just not really into the fandom as much as I used to be. There's various reasons, but the main one is, Life outside of it has been changing so so much.
The people that I'm still in contact with are important to me, and I'm focusing on what I need and how to flourish in life itself.
I'm still gunna pop on here from time to time and just thumb through art and answer notes/messages and the like.
I hope everyone is doing well, and I'll catch you all soon.

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away, there were a small group of people trying to get an artistic community built and set to do the following:
Build an environment for people to excel in their art.
Build an environment for people to participate in events related to art and different art sites they love and enjoy
Build an environment where the team of said community would effortlessly provide transparency and respectful communication
Build an environment for people to admire, and help out with the spark of creativity
These four base goals were inspired by another community that had long since dissolved due to varying factors. While no one could ever re-create what once was, there is always room for a community to be built. This is not something that can be done by one person. It takes a community to build a community.
Before I got my current job, I started to build a forum to put a sort of foundation for a community to form. I didn't take into account how much my life would change, nor did I imagine what would happen in that time span.
Now, with a move on the horizon and permanent settlement back in the states happening, I see a window where I can kick start this back up again.
I'd like to re-open this project, revise, invite people, invigorate....do all these things.
I am going to be, over time, adding some posts, ideas, etc etc. And I would really love some input.
I will be re-opening the original forum for those who want to have a nose, and once I do I'll pop the link on here.
This is essentially a placeholder for building this.
I appreciate the time everyone that reads this has taken, and I look forward to any questions or input. :)

So, of late, I've been trying to contact old friends since a massive change in my life...and it's occurred to me...that I may never speak to them again. I figured that I was paranoid, that perhaps I was just placing all the negativity down into my suspicions....but I'm slowly seeing more and more evidence that perhaps my suspicions are correct.
I'm saddened by this.
I'm hurt by this.
Despite that...I think I get it. I mean. I believe I understand it.
I hope that someday, they see my messages. They respond, and we can talk.
And if they don't, and they don't wish to respond, I don't blame them. I will, instead, wish them well. I'll miss them terribly, but I understand.
In the meantime, I hope that everyone finds a place in their lives where they feel content, and loved. Everyone deserves it.

Seriously though...
A lot. A lot a lot alotalotalotalot has come along my way. But I want to say that I am trying my best to be the best person I can be.
Happiness and stability are very hard things to keep once one has grasped onto them, and right now I'm trying to keep that stability going.
I've incorperated and have adapted to a few things I really didn't want to, but HAD to, NEEDED to. And so far, despite how hard it's been I've been going through it.
Right now my goals are as follows:
Find a therapist that specialises (or at least can refer me to someone) in my current state of mind. (this is something I will go into later).
Get my cleaning schedule for flat sorted. (I've hit a few slumps due to my brain).
That's...essentially it at the moment.
Right now I'm struggling with diet, booze intake, and smoking cigs. But it will get better as I continue to fight for what's best for me.
In the meantime, you may see some therapy pieces or writings that I've been doing in my off time.
Commissions and the like..right now...that's not something I can think about. It's not fair to keep opening them and keep people on their toes waiting for something that may not come.
This is, again, why i don't take money till after it's done.
At any rate. If there is any money related bits and art works, it will more than likely be premades/YCH/Adoptables. I think it's best if i just make something and sell the ware as is.
We'll see how it goes.

The radio silence is strong in this one when it comes to arting and what not. But, I'm back. Going to dust off the old tablet, do some art. Hopefully sweep in some of that sweet sweet papery cash (via electonics). And yes.
I'm just sorting out more bits (internet connection, tablet software...trying to find my damn tablet stylus XD)
In the meantime...I'm going to try to catch up with everyone.

Every once in a while I like to do a piece of art on the same day. Sometimes, it's a pose. Sometimes it's a forum avatar...sometimes is just something silly.
I want to challenge myself this time around and do a FULLY CUSTOM THREE PEICE POSE SET in ONE DAY. For someone.
The prices are normally as follows:

I wanna try something I've not tried before.
I call them "Brain Fart Sketches"
Essentially it is a 10-30 minute super quick sketch that can be humourous, serious, lewd, whatever. I'm going to try these for the first hour of my stream at 4pm UK time (8am Pacific).
The cost is pretty damn cheap, £5.00 per shot. It's a monocolored and white sketch that will fit within an 800x800 square.
I just ask this for those that wish to partake:
1. Please note me here, message me aurocard on telegram or poke me on skype Aurocard Hocken/aurocard @ fennec.org.uk
2. Give me a VERY simple description of what you'd like, with a reference to your character.
3. I will stream your commish and it will take between 10-30 minutes.
4. Do not pay me till you see the final product.
5. No refunds after product and money are exchanged.
6. If you want to request another, please wait till the following stream to do so.
