Well, the new year hasn't exactly started the way I wanted, but I've decided that I'll take things on the chin, and begin saving up for a new laptop to make making adopts easier, as well as a couple of planned commissions.

But to help with that, and because 2024 is the Year of the Dragon, I'm putting up a special offer - for the entire year, all dragon based adopts will have a 20% discount - that is to say, any custom adopts that's a dragon in some way would only cost $8 for the base image and $4 per extra, while any dragon adopts I make personally will be $6.40, with extras being $3.20 each.

I have decided to slash the price of most of my adopts to fit the regular cost I offer for them: that is to say, a base price of $8, with $4 added per addon. (Customs remain $10 with $5 per addon)

There are a few exceptions to this, such as ones which I give a feral/Chibi version included in the price, and custom hybrids made using multiple bases.

This journal is for the terms regarding any adopts which I make and will potentially sell off:

1) Unless otherwise stated, all adopts will be sold as is, due to the fact that some of them may be hard for me to edit after being made.

2) I will be offering both fixed price and auction adopts.
2.1) For fixed price adopts, I normally won't offer holds.
2.2) For auctions, unless you are unable to, you should reply to the last bidder. If you can't because they have blocked you, then (and only then) can you reply to the original bid post I make to explain things. Bidding will then resume from your bid. Also, there will be a grace period after the last bid before any auction closes to prevent last minute bid snipeing, ranging between an hour and a day.

3) Once an adopt is claimed or won, payment must be paid before any images are given. A 48 hour grace period would be given to allow the one who claimed or won the auction to pay.

4) For now, payments must be done through PayPal or KoFi, the links to which can be found on my N3N4-5LUT-1 account, but will also be given once an adopt is brought.

5) Adopts offered on or after today, the 11th of October 2023, can't be sold off again for more than they were brought, without first asking permission to resell them for more. This will be considered on a case by case basis, but if you had gotten more art with the adopt that you'd be handing over with them, they would be taken into account.

6) All sales are final. Once all the files have been passed on, NO REFUNDS will be allowed.

7) If the artist who made the base has any terms which would affect the adopts, they will apply to the usage to the adopt.

8) If you are contacted by either N3N4-5LUT-1 or ReshiromAndZekramFemsuits regarding an adopt you've just claimed or won, it's because I didn't change to this account in order to contact you.

9) Barring these and a few bits I may post here, this account remains as an archive for my old artwork.

With the recent posts I have made, I am basically more or less caught up with all the commissions I had gotten which doesn't involve my new self. Those commissions however will not be posted here, but instead on the new N3N4-5LUT-1 account on September 6th.

Well, today is a turning point for things, and I plan to do three things in total:

1) Starting tomorrow, I will be posting stuff for Aurvetty Month early
2) I will also be posting any bits involving my old human self between then and the 5th of September.
3) On the 6th of September, I will be updating my account to reflect my new self.
4) Finally, I am going to ask about a name change - if it's possible, I'll do that, but if not, then I may make a new account on the 6th and may make that my new main account. If I do so, this account will remain as an archive of prior work.

Update: Due to the name change not being possible, I have decided to start work on the new account. I will not be posting to the new account before the 6th though.

It may had been two weeks late from the deadline, but finally I had been told which images did go against the update. Those have been removed, but have also been backed up, and the ones I had to remove are the ref sheet of V31L-B0T (which I will move to other sites), the large plush Lativee suit (seems like the zipper may had been why) and the entirety of Auro's Shadowy Unbirth.

The last one means that it looks like they need to slightly correct things regarding what they said: in that only certain types of Vore (ones that are naturally considered SFW) are allowed.

As such, I am half reversing my leaving of the site - I will still sometimes post images here, but not as much as I may do on other sites once I figure out a way to multipost while on mobile.

Everything else however is fine, so some of the images and such I was worried may be removed actually won't be - but I'll take that answer with a pinch of salt.

I decided to make this journal as one of the last things I'll be giving to FA (although other sites will also hopefully get this) to explain the dos and don'ts of getting a commission from an artist from my own personal experiences.

1) DO make sure you have a decently solid idea in mind before you make a commission. What counts as reasonably solid depends on if the commission is intended to be a Wing It/Artistic Freedom piece or not.

2) DON'T bother artists too much. I learned this the hard way when I was getting a commission from someone who charged by the hour - as such, a piece was never finished.

3) DO respect the limits of the artist - both in what they can do, and in what they are willing to do.

4) DON'T forget to include references. If you have a ref sheet you can use, use that. If not, and it's a new character, try to explain as best as you can what they look like.
4.1) Speaking of, make sure you don't go on and on when describing things. Try to be short and to the point while giving more than enough detail for what you want to get.

5) DON'T assume that an artist knows everything about a specific fandom. Someone might had drawn Pokémon stuff before, but they may not know about Yveltal, for example.

6) DO be patient with artists - they have lives outside of doing art, and sometimes real life can get in the way.

7) DON'T overspend if you can help it - I recommend having a buffer that you could dip into if needed, but remember to return the money to the buffer once you can do so.

8) DO be prepared for mistakes, but make sure to be calm about them and help point them out nicely to the artist.

9) DO plan ahead - if you want something done for a specific date or timeframe, the earlier you order it, the more likely it'll be ready in time.

10) Finally, DON'T EVEN BOTHER TRYING TO SCAM AN ARTIST. Not that I've ever done it, but I've seen people who have, and with sites like Artist Beware, those who do scam may find themselves being rejected by artists even if they claim to turn over a new leaf.
