As you might or might not have noticed, I've recently brought a YCH... But I was having trouble with deciding what idea I wanted to use for it. So, after some discussion, I came up with five ideas and posed them all to the writer, giving them the chance to pick one to strike out before voting started.

And then I did a poll on Discord to narrow it down a bit, which led to one of the remaining options being knocked out as well.

Speaking of, I do intend to try and get some more stuff done this year - hopefully including a much better Aurvetty Month come September - which may include some of my own work.

As for commissions... I'll take them on a case by case basis, given that I still have one which I should have worked on, but had some writer's block about.

Okay, I have some good news and some bad news. Good news is that the rear issues I had seem to be coming to an end, as my latest number 2 was more solid. The bad news is that it, along with the last few episodes I had, were black and tar-like, so I need to go to the hospital to have myself checked out. This means I won't be able to respond for at least a few hours at best, or longer if it's bad.

Update: Well, it seems like they think it's just a tummy bug sort of thing. Problem is, it seems like I spoke too soon about the rear issues ending - as soon as I got back, first time on the loo... They started again. At least I haven't needed to rush to the toilet every half hour or so, so at least there's that...

Over the past weekend and Monday, my health had been up and down - with a real downer on the Saturday which led to me making that journal about it. But since then, thanks to a few good calls, my health seems to be on an upwards trend, although I still have the Diarrhoea - today being the fourth day that I've had it. The docs suspect it's some kind of gastro-intestinal track infection or something like that (not that I fully remember what they said it was) and I'm on a course of pills to help deal with it, and so far, it feels like it's working out despite only using it for a day so far.

So unless this Diarrhoea keeps on for longer, and/or my health gets much worse, I hope to be back to max PHP by this weekend, if not before.

Just a heads up, but I've been having a poorly episode, which may require me to be offline of FA for a while while I'm being checked up. If that does happen, I'll still be on Discord when I can. It sucks when you have a case of Diarrhoea, and then suddenly you have two puking episodes within an hour of each other.

This hasn't been the best week for me. While some things are looking to be going my way, my finances are going south fast, thanks to two things.

First of all, earlier this week, I had a falling out with a certain artist who I will not name, not even in PMs. While it was partly my fault for being so vocally eager, the result meant that a piece of artwork I was getting from them will now remain forever unfinished, and as such, I no longer plan on posting it, the sketch which I got earlier from them which was used, or even any versions which I might have done. This means that for this fortnight, about 90 quid was wasted due to that.

And secondly, it was someone's birthday earlier this week, so I got them a game on Steam as a gift. They know who they are, but I won't mention them here either, but they then had issues with it, and they tried to get past them for nearly 20 hours before they finally asked me to try and get a refund. And you all possibly know that Steam wouldn't give refunds for games with over 2 hours of playtime, so that's another 50 quid which has been wasted.

There's just over a month left until my birthday, which means it's not too long before Aurvetty Month 2019 rolls around. Although this year, there's a slight twist, as some of the images I'm getting would originally have been for this month which would be Arceus-themed. However, due to a lack of images and other delays, I decided to not do it - and instead, with those which were still in the early stages, changed it into a hybrid of Yveltal and Arceus. Although I have no idea right now what to call this hybrid off hand.

Meanwhile, I am nearly finished on the first batch of the Latius YORS stuff, with only one story left to write before I will post all of the first batch here on my profile. After this, I will open up for normal story commissions.

On a side note, the Clan I have on the Switch version of Warframe is doing well, but we are getting close to the first member cap, which means it's time to upgrade the clan.

And, as I have mentioned, it's getting close to my birthday, and that means... Well, there's not a lot that I would want, other than maybe some more artwork. I have a few ideas in mind for what I might want to see, which would include a Serperior coiling around my body and milking my cock while hypnotizing me, more stuff involving Lati suits (which could include stuff with Icedrake's Latius (fem)suit, Zenith) and maybe a TF or two from my human self into a Pokémon.

Thanks to a friend of mine, I've started to get into Warframe, and now we have a clan for it. Technically, it's a Switch version clan, but in theory, anyone could potentially join in.

The clan is open to anyone, although Dalto and myself have our frames modified to look like Latis, which we would recommend, but not require, you to do as well.

To make a frame look like a Lati, you'd need to reach Mastery Rank 3 so that you can join the Perrin Sequence. Their triangle, rotated 180 degrees and shrunk to its smallest size, is the closest you'd get to the delta triangle symbol on a Lati's chest, which is what our clan is named after.
Also, you might want to invest about 135 Platinum or so - I can't remember the exact price - on the Naru Syandana, which is the closest to the Lati wings you can get

On a side note, my Grandad has returned, and I do plan to, in the future, open up a single story commission slot a week, up to a maximum of three open slots.

Update on the hospital situation - due to an incident, my Grandad won't be out until Monday. This means I will be spending a bit of time this weekend on the commissions, but it'll delay my planned opening of new commissions.

I finally found out that my Grandad should be coming back sometime tomorrow, so I will be spending the rest of today and tomorrow to get things ready for his return. Afterwards, I will work on the commissions currently in my queue, before sorting out my proper commission workload from now on.

I just recently saw that the Nintendo Switch is getting a Lite version, which is dedicated for handheld play. This I feel spells the beginning of the end of the 3DS's life, as I feel they'd be focusing more on the Switch than a single dedicated console for handheld and one for TV play.

While I already own a Switch myself, I must admit that the Lite edition will be good for some people, especially those who would worry about losing the JoyCons which come with the system, as those are not only integrated, but the button layout is slightly modified (with a d-pad instead of the buttons similar to a Pro Controller) to improve the feel, while elements like HD Vibration and the IR sensor are removed - the latter of which I haven't seen much use of in the first place, and the former isn't too big of a loss for most games.

I would hope that the Lite version would have a good battery life akin to that of a normal Switch and that you can get SD card storage to improve how much space you have, otherwise, there will be some games which wouldn't be able to be added onto the system.

As for the limited Sword/Shield promo one? Might be a good collector's item, but I feel like the games might not be as good as some people had hoped. Especially with the complaints I have heard regarding the inability to have every 'mon from prior gens - which I'm not too fussed about, although I do hope that the Latis may be obtainable in-game - and the loss of Megas and Z Moves which are replaced by the Dynamax system - which while I feel will help make more Pokémon be included as able to use this alternative to Mega Evolution, does make me feel like the individuality and changes of going Mega might be a bit too much of a loss.

Woo, tangent. Anyways, the RRP I've been hearing so far is $200 - which is about £160 - which I feel is a step up from the price of other handheld exclusive devices, but the compatibility with most, if not all of the Switch games already out and about to be released, is possibly something which justifies this price.

If you don't have a Switch, want to get one and don't mind not being able to play on the TV or in Tabletop Mode and having to use WiFi to connect to the internet, then the Switch Lite is for you. If those are deal-breakers, but you still want one, then save up for a normal Switch. Otherwise, stick to what you have.

I just want to let all of you know that it sounds like my Grandad may be leaving the hospital within the next week or so, once a care package (as in carers and such) is in place. This, combined with a commission which someone has gotten after asking about if they could have a Latius character of their own - which is going to be a collab with Ciel as they'll do the artwork, and I'd be doing the story - and some smart usage of my funds, means that I am safer money-wise, and as such, I have closed down the colouration slots due to lack of interest.

I still have two story slots open, and while one is reserved, it sounds unlikely that the person who originally reserved it will be able to get it before the reservation expires.


In other news, I have begun work on a new RPG Maker MV project - which, if it even gets finished enough to see a release, will be a freeware game. I will explain more about it later, just as long as it's still going by then. Of course, I also have a few other RPG Maker projects which I had been working on in the past, but due to working alone - which I am not doing this time - I had burnt out when making them.


Also, it's not long until the final Splatfest of Splatoon 2, which everyone knows may help guide the route Splatoon 3 (if it gets released) goes down. While I have chosen a side already, I must admit I love the details which went into the announcement of the final Splatfest, including the return of a song I never expected to hear again outside of the Octo Expansion, and also the return of that Splatfest rule which was used way back during the early days of Splatoon 2 - possibly even during the Testfire demo! The only thing I'll say is this - I'm with Agents 3 and 8 on this one.


Finally, today is the day when the first Crash Nitro-Fueled GP will begin, and while I will take some time off to do the Splatfest, I intend to get as far as I can through the Nitro gauge. Although I need to point something out - people had claimed that you get reduced Wumpa Coins from playing on Easy. Well, I've played on Easy on the Switch version, and when I won, I always got the max of 20/40/60/80 Coins depending on the tier of the track I was racing on. Still, I wish that if you choose to race 5 or 7 laps, that the coins you get are modified to account for the longer races. Like, say, a 1.5x mod for 5 laps, and a 2x mod for 7 laps - or even adjust the tier based on the new length of the track. I mean, I believe the intent is that 1-2minute races are the 20 Coins, 2-3 are 40 and so on: why don't they use that as a baseline and adjust it based on the new length of the track?

I didn't think I would need to do this, but since my grandad ended up in the hospital two weeks ago after a long fall, I have had to look after his place and, due to the fact that my uncle only can come down once a fortnight, and my parents are unable to drive from their place to the hospital in question, I have to head over there to help check up on my grandad, which costs me at least £10 each time I do so.

True, a few times I can do the shopping I need to get along with it, but thanks to this, my funds are getting tighter, and thus I need to open emergency commissions to try and keep my bank balance somewhat healthy.

I don't normally do journals like this, but I've been thinking of bits which I want to get. Of course, I need to get some stuff for Aurvetty Month this coming September, but there are other things I'd like to get, including some of the following:

* An image of a Kemo (or Gijinka) Latisune (a Lati/Kitsune hybrid)
* Some more Lati TFs of my human self
* An image inspired by Team Sonic Racing which features Auro Xcavier, Marie Xcavier, Sansar Xcavier and their respective cars.
* Possibly a ref sheet of Sansar Xcavier, AKA 'Shadow Auro'
* Potentially, as a long-term project, enough sprites to have Auro (and maybe Marie?) Xcavier in Mugen and/or RPG Maker MV
* An image of Ham-Duon, a red/blue furred Hamtaro hamster which is in a sense an OC of mine after some RPs I have done with a friend in that setting
* A few more binding images with possible TFs for my human self


To this end, I am thinking of maybe opening up story commissions. Prices can be negotiated, but I intend to ask for $5 for every 1000 words or so I write. I will possibly ask for half up front, and the other half on completion if I do indeed open up. Of course, I won't do anything gore related, but I mainly want to write some more transformation stuff - and hopefully, I can get back into the muse to work on YPS in time for this year's Aurvetty Month.

Now, I don't normally do these kinds of ranting journals, but I have something I really want to get off of my chest, and that's regarding some of the mobile adverts you see in the freemium games - at least, the ones on Android, as they are the ones I have seen most of.


If you ask me, there are four different types of mobile video adverts, although some are split up into different subsections.


The first kind, and the one I am most okay with, shows actual game footage of the game. Some Idle games, like Idle Cook, as well as the Candy Crush games, do this quite well. A subsection of this is the 'Noob/Pro' split which shows what someone new to the game would do, and compare it to someone who had the game for quite a while. While I'm not a complete fan of these, it does help to show off how things get better over time.


The second kind is where they show some CGI repersentation of part of the game, which may or may not actually take place in the game. While it might not be just a mobile game, Forge of Empires has a good example of this kind of advert.


The third kind is where they show something similar to what you would do in the game, but which actually doesn't happen. One example would be Words Story - some ads show two stick figures working together to try and break out, but in the actual game, it's all just you.


And finally, we get to the ones which are the reason I'm making this journal. The ones which blatently use assets from other games or even footage from trailers of said other games in the advert, even though the game itself doesn't use them.

The games in question which I have seen other mobile games use assets or footage from are the Pokémon games. And one such game which did this was Monster Quest - although my attempts to get footage of the ads, or even a screenshot, has been less than successful. Still, every time I see it, I feel both offended and angry that they are allowed to put out such adverts. Although when I finally managed to figure out how to get the screenshots, I didn't seem to get any more ads regarding that, so I don't know if Nintendo had been made aware of it.


But either way, if Nintendo wants to shut down projects like AM2R or Pokémon Essentials, then surely they should also crack down on games like this who use false advertising in an attempt to get the unaware Pokémon fans to play their games. Especially as games like Monster Quest can contain premium purchaces - and if such a game manages to get a Pokémon fan who was clueless about the game to both download it and make a premium purchase, then that's money which Nintendo would not be able to get from the very same player. Meanwhile, projects like AM2R and Pokémon Essentials don't cost anything for others to play or use - in fact, the fans who made them put their own time, money and effort into them.

Just a brief heads up, but I will be offline for the next few days due to appointments I have to get to. Although when I get back, I do plan on uploading a couple of stories I had comissioned others to do, and hopefully even one or two based on some RPs I had been doing.

So, 2018 is now over. It wasn't the best year for me, but it certainly wasn't the worst year either. Although I had a bit of a scare when one of my friends almost decided to leave online for good after another crappy November for them. Not gonna say who, but they should know that I hope this coming November would be better

Anyways, for this year, I have a few things somewhat planned.
Obviously, this coming September will be Aurvetty Month once again, and so I will need to build up art and stories for it, including some more progress on YPS.
Speaking of stories, I do hope to get in touch with Arianna Altomare and work on the bad ends and endings for PokéChanged sometime soon.

Thirdly, from about Spetember last year, I joined the r[E]volution group to help work on the RPG Maker MV game they had running. For those of you who don't know, r[E]volution is a project made by  Myshu inspired by the Rooster Teeth series (and the greatest ever machimina series to date) Red Vs Blue. A short while ago, the comic had finished it's ninth chapter, and the game project I had worked on has reached the end of the fifth chapter.
Anyways, the future of what Myshu does with r[E]volution is now up for debate, with a poll in her recent journal - http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/...../#cid:55604370 - and this will indirectly affect what I'd be doing regarding it. As of right now, the comic is in first place, but while I'd be unable to assist with said comic, I may be given the blessing to go on and work on one of the game ideas for it. And speaking of them, I'm leaning more towards the Visual Novel side of things, as I feel that would better complement the comic.

Finally, me and  RobtheMorpherBegins are working on bringing his Tringle Region to life using the Pokémon Essentials kit, although this is more of a private thing. However, we would need to get sprites made for the new species of Pokémon encountered in the region, as well as a few regional varients.

Of course, outside of real life, this won't have too much of an effect on my roleplaying on Discord, for those of you who have it. Although I will be slightly more selective as to who I roleplay with, but mainly in the regards that if ideas don't mesh well enough, I may say no thanks rather than giving it a try.
