I get into vicious cycles where I want to leave comments, so I don't clear out old art, so it piles up until I'm totally overwhelmed by the number of pieces to go through and I nuke it. I never mean to ignore any artists and I'm going to try to be better -- more present.

I'm also going to try to post more, I don't have a scanner but I feel like I'm not going to be motivated to work if I don't hold myself somewhat accountable for being consistent.

I'm thinking of making an alternate account that focuses more on the monsters and gore I used to draw. Kinda tried to clean that stuff up for a while, so I think the kosher bits will go here and any angst piles will go elsewhere.

As of now, it looks like I won't be attending much out of state. Those friends that I had tentative plans to travel with have canceled due to financing, and as I'm going back to school in April, I won't be able to fund something by myself in enough time. I'm pretty bummed to be missing AC.

That said, I will be able to go to CaliFur in May/June, if anyone out there is planning to head to Southern California. I can even offer crash space for then.

As for thisverymoment, I'm looking into getting new cables for my scanner and hooking them up to my boyfriend's computer. I'd really like to post some of the traditional art I've done.

Sorry I haven't been prompt in replying to comments/notes the past few days. I started a new job recently that keeps me for most "business" hours of the day, so between that and having some semblance of a social life [and other stuff], I haven't been around too much.
