Just giving a quick update on my status and comissions.

About my comissions, I took a couple of weeks of having issues with my artdrive but i finally shook them off.

About the bust charts... i currently got Claire sketched and ready to ink, i am still working on Jeanette since nothing i have done of her i have liked.

About my comission status,,,

1- Jeff (i got the whole thing in my head but i haven't started sketching) - Fully Colored - Planning
2- Reppy (i got an idea but i still need to try it) - Fully Colored - Planning
3- Insidexml (i ended up having a lot of trouble getting an idea, sent a mail asking for more info about the characrter) - Pencil Sketch - Waiting
4- Kallenwindchaser (I am 70% done with the inking) - Fully Colored - Inking
5- EricSwordswinger (Still trying to come up for a design for the character) - Pencil Sketch - Designing

About my online status.... I have been having a lot of trouble to keep up with the online galleries, free time and work time.

I just ended up nuking my whole message center in both DA and FA. I feel bad about it since i could have very likely missed a lot of awesome artwork from you guys... but seriously... i had 8122 submissions in DA and 9645 in FA... i just couldn't keep track.

Also, i want to apologize to everyone that added me in the past weeks. I usually go thank every one of you personally but i just had to nuke the whole thing to start fresh. So to everyone that added me recently, i just want to thank you for doing so and to show my gratitude.

Good evening everyone!

I got a bit of an inquiry here.

You see, some friends of mine are kind of convincing me to visit a convention in the US sometime in the future, along with other friends who (like me) are from outside the US. Now while the whole idea of the trip is to meet some friends in real life at last and hang out... i was kind of thinking that if i am going to go in a trip to another country (never been further than San Antonio in my whole life) me and my foreign friends could make the best of the situation and get an artist's table for each or for all of us.

Now, as i said i have never done so before outside of the local conventions and neither have my friends. So i am looking for information about what a foreigner needs to do for that kind of thing in the US.

A friend of mine has another friend that has gotten tables at the artist's alley in the past. She said (the person in question is canadian) that if you want to sell artwork and do comissions as a foreginer that you need to get a temporal working visa and/or a temporal green card.

I just wish to be informed about this for the future and to start planning.

Any information is more than appreciated.

For the moment i only accept on paypal. And the payment is done this way: you pay for half the comission at the start, and when i deliver the final part i get the other half. This way it is easier for me to pay back if the client changes his mind or decides to cancel the comission.

Anyways, it is my birthday today and i just going to spend it on a normal working day like each monday. I already celebrated with some close friends at my place with a BBQ and the whole thing ended up with a bang. I am talking literaly by the way since there was an explosion some blocks away (i am not sure if it was the Battery Master or the Renault place) and it was all in fire with black smoke and all until the firefighters arrived. XD

First of all, i want to thank you all for keeping reading these journals, visiting my galleries and/or reading the webcomics. It really means a lot to me. As you guys know, 2009 took a punch on my gut as a whole and 2010 while not bad... still wasn't very much of an improvement for me. I have had a rather steady income with comissions (barely) and i went everywhere for job interviews with little to no luck... plus my city is becoming a rather crude warzone which also kills the whole thing a bit too. So anyways i just want to make some announcements while i keep the job hunt going.

First of all, after some chats with some friends and one particular person i look up to i have decided to raise the price of my comissions. This past year i held those prices because i thought that high ones would scare out the costumers... but i ended up working more than it was worth. So after some considerations i adjusted the comission prices to what i think is worth my time and effort for now. Take note that this only applies to the comissions i will take starting now and this is not retroactive.

Which brings me to my current comission list:

Soulkat - 2 inked pieces (Not sketched yet)
Curran - 1 inked piece (Not sketched yet)
Gado - 1 abstract color piece as a gift (Partly sketched)
ArskaTheMan - 1 abstract color piece (Not sketched yet)
Mattewbrandon - 1 full color piece (Sketch under corrections)

This brings me to another issue. I realized that having such a strict and narrow deadline for my monthly payments that i had little to no time to dedicate to one of my webcomics (The Eye of Ramalach). I did leave this one to the side because i generates me no income (i rather put a comic on hold than loose my home) and to be honest it makes me sad. What i want to look for is for some help putting the base colors on pages, art, inks, letterring and shading would still be done by me, but saving the time to put base colors could greatly help me have the pages on schedule again. If anyone feels like contributing to this send me a PM about the subject and i will be answering when i get the chance.

As for now, i think this is all of it for today. I apologize for not briging better news, i promise the next journal will be more upbeat.

So i saw this thing on the journals i check and it peaked my curiosity. I am aware that at times i am inconsistant with comissions with some done very quickly and others end up taking a bit too long... way too long. I am really unsure of what impression i give to others so i would really appreciate opinions.

As i you may know already i am now officially been unnemployed for a year now. And while i haven't got a paid job so far, i am currently taking an internship at a studio that makes nature documentaries. I may not be getting salary but i am learning a lot, plus being busy has kept my sanity intact.

Anyways, this whole year i have survived thanks to comission and i am currently done with all the ones i owed to my clients. So i am open for comission spots at the moment. Don't be shy if you are interested in one, just send a PM so we can have negotiations.

Introducing Stickers

Hello everyone! Just making a new announcement. I made stickers of several characters and i am going to offer them for sale online!

* The Stickers are 4 inches in size.
* They are printed in non plastified sticker paper (good quality though).
* The will cost 50 cents each.
* As far as i know, the shipping costs for a registered mail from Mexico to the US are between 3 to 4 dollars.
* I will be taking orders in a secondary thread. But all personal mail information is not to be posted there, but on a PM due to privacy issues.
* I will be adding characters on the long run.
