Pin-up and Soft vore were neck-and-neck, so ideally, I'd like to do both. As for the characters, it looks like it'll be Pokémon; bovine and iguana-like Pokémon will be my priority. Perhaps I'll have a soft vore pic with a Grovyle or Scraggy, and then a pin-up with a Miltank. You're welcome to post some comments here and let me know what you'd like. I need to learn some better time management skills. I spent most of yesterday and a good chunk of Friday playing Blood Dragon (hilarious game, by the way). Instead, I probably should've been working OT or going to the gym or something.

I'd also love to learn to flirt better. I can't seem to pull it off without being either impenetrably subtle or blatant. I imagine it's something I'd pick up with experience, but, being married and all, I don't have many chances to practice.

What sorts of things would you like to learn? Maybe, if we're lucky, we can find someone to help out.

I hope I can finish it this weekend, but it's still got a long way to go, and it takes far too long to do this with a mouse.

I also learned how to make leather handcuffs today. Lots of work, but it's all pretty simple stuff. Wish I had the tools on hand to make more.

I'm throwing a little contest for my loyal watchers! The prize is nothing major - $20 USD wired to the Paypal account of your choice - but it's a cinch to enter. All you have to do is send me a note with a number between 0 and 100. Doesn't even have to be a whole number.

After one week has elapsed, I will post the numbers everyone sent, and whoever chose the number that's closest to 2/3 of the average wins the cash. Speaking of good things, Bioshock:Infinite's a blast. And, if you'd like to play Torchlight II with my wife and me, let me know.

I did the whole body, arms, and legs. It only took two weeks of free-time work. I'm not perfect at it, but I think it turned out pretty well, considering it's a first attempt.

It's a bit baggy to allow movement, and the ultra-fine-pile doesn't hide seams very well, but it's also super comfortable and incredibly soft. Colors were chosen more or less at random based on what fabric I had on hand.

I've been working on mine, and let me tell ya, aside from not having a sewing machine, these things are pretty simple. Once I finish with this one (which isn't meant to look like anything in particular) I'm going to build one for FurFright this year.

I was wondering if I should hold a contest. Ask for designs (simple or complex as you like), and then give some cash to the one I end up choosing. What do you think about that? It's not worth doing unless I could get at least 10 ideas to go on. Otherwise, my default plan is just to make a suit comprising scraps of a dozen different types of fur, in different colors and textures.

A brief glance at the calendar tells me that I turn 28 this week. That's way too old, huh? I can't believe my life's raced by so quickly. Don't suppose I have too much left in me, but I guess only time will tell.

So, here's the announcement part. [redacted]

Well, there's a meter of snow outside, and I can't even open the door. We've got a bit of food stored up, but definitely not enough for any long-term stuff. I've got a full tank of gas in the car, at least, so when the roads finally get plowed, I can see how picked-over the grocery stores are.

There's a sense of adventure about the whole ordeal, and I'm sure I'll learn to enjoy it once my stomach stops growling!

I grew up in what can best be described as a hoarder's hovel, and it was rare to see the carpet in any room. Piles of clothes, soaked in cat urine, old papers, toys, and food wrappers covered every surface in the house. Cleaning was basically impossible; even if I spent an hour trying to sort out a corner of the house, there was nowhere to put the stuff. Any canyon cut down to the carpet was quickly filled back in with piles of trash.

Digging through the house would be depressing to anyone. Baby photos torn underfoot, broken glass worked into the shag carpet, flooding from an unseen radiator pipe and the resulting mold, boxes filled with packaged cabinets and dressers... bought with the hope that they could organize the mess, but only becoming part of it.

It's probably not surprising that I grew up thinking this was normal. What did I have to compare to? Every other house I visited was probably just cleaned up for the occasion, and of course the houses in TV shows were supposed to be idealistic. It wasn't until college that I started to understand that my childhood wasn't normal. Going back to my home was crushing; even the worst dorm rooms looked tidy in comparison.

Even now, it's incredibly hard to bring myself to clean, though the sight of disorder is tough to bear. I'm resolute not to end up like my mother did, and when I do clean, I'm hardcore about it. Can't repeat the mistakes of the past.

Maybe a third of you, I've met through roleplay. It's a pretty important part of my life: it's how I meet most of my close friends, how I interact best, how I develop my emotions and learn to see things from a new perspective.

Way too often, though, I can't tell when someone's in-character or out-of-character. I understand that every one of our characters shares part of our personality. Heck, depending on the person, it could even be an exact duplicate. But I'm finding that, more and more lately, the line is blurring, and I'm getting people mixed up with their characters.

Last weekend, it even ended up REALLY pissing someone off (sorry, Hellgan!). I need to gain some powers of perception before I end up alienating more people.

Anyway, status update, blah blah. Nearly done with this glove commission, then I've got at least three art pieces to do.
