Hello!

Sorry for my unannounced hiatus. Been trying to figure out mental health stuff since June. I'm still not entirely sure what the deal is. I thought it was ADHD initially, and after talking to a psychiatrist, they directed me to a questionnaire to determine if that was the case. It wasn't. It was boiled down to depression, mainly seasonal, which makes sense since I do end up disappearing from art around the same time every year. I lose much of my desire to draw and even play games whenever it hits.

But wait, there's more! I've also been having sleep issues for the last like 8 years or so. I was taking several pills to resolve that, and none of them did a thing! So it's been assumed by me that I have sleep apnea! I'll sleep for about 4-5 hours before waking up feeling like garbage, and after that it's difficult for me to get back to sleep. I'm going to a specialist tomorrow to get a diagnosis and HOPEFULLY get this shit fixed finally. Apparently lack of sleep affects your desire to do anything? That's probably where the depression's coming from! WOO!

We'll see how things go starting tomorrow. I just wanna draw again, man.

I haven't done a YCH in a while, and I think I wanna get into doing some. I've got an animated one in the works that I think people will like. I'll get to sketching some ones for illustration soon.

I'll test out submission comments as a means of bidding and such, but if that doesn't prove efficient I'll upload to a website suitable for that kind of thing and redirect y'all there. I feel like YCHs can be fun, but I'll try not to make a habit of doing them too often.

Just taking precaution in case I'm suddenly gone at some point. Initial suspension was bullshit and was entirely up to a single mod's opinion on how a character looked. So, again, just in case.

I've been spending a bit tinkering with different perks and such, as well as coming up with a plan for what I wanna do going forward. I still think my art could use some improvement, but that all comes with time, and even now I'm more than capable of making some sexy awesome shit.

With all that being said, here's what you can expect:
First and foremost, all of my art will become available publicly. I will never hide my art behind a paywall, so if you can't give anything now, don't worry.
I'll upload my illustrations to Patreon first, then to the public a week later.
Animations are the same, only they'll be released TWO weeks later.
My art files and timelapses will be uploaded as an exclusive bonus (I may share an occasional timelapse or two).
And lastly, for now, to give supporters some involvement the creation of content, once the goal is met, you can vote on a character (two characters once the second goal is met) to draw for the month!

My main focus in the long run will be animation, as that's been my passion for a long while now. I hope that this will get me into the groove of making and progressing my skills in animation.

I knew for a while that art is something I wanted to be more than just a hobby. I had a lot of interest in animation when I was 11 and only dabbled with it for a little while. I would experiment with taking commissions some time later and see how fun it was drawing people's wacky and creative characters. I'm 26 now and think I'm getting a somewhat better grasp on it all.

I figured college wouldn't suit me, and having seen all the baggage that comes with going, that was probably the better decision for me. Besides, I can learn what I need from home. I just miss out on all the connections that comes with attending.

Having said all that, I still don't really know what direction I wanna go, but that's normal for me. Maybe Patreon/SubscribeStar is something I can think about. I do have several ideas I want to create, but so little time to actually work on them as much as I'd like to. It would make things a lot easier for sure, plus everyone would be getting something out of it. I'll look into it a bit more. I already have a page set up; I just need to make sure that is something I can be comfortable with.

I'm in the middle of working on commissions, but I thought I'd ask for some ideas for things to draw. Heya!

So I wanted to give a heads up since there have been people asking: yes, I plan on doing commissions. I've got a few things I want to get done before I actually open. There may be three options of quality available once I make the post. I'm actually pretty hype since it's been a while since I've done art for people, so I hope I can do your OCs and ideas justice. 😊

Another note, I want to do YCHs. This would be more so I can mess around with backgrounds, because I'm fucking awful at them, dear god am I just bad with them. So that may be a thing as well. I'll see if I can do that with every other YCH I post when I start uploading them.

It has been a HOT minute since I've posted anything, art-wise and in writing. So hello! I hope you all have been enjoying what I've been putting out. I've been on a bit of a hot streak with art lately, and for once it isn't letting up. I've got A LOT of sketches lined up that I'll be finishing up over the next few weeks, which is exciting as fuck.

I've been in a rut for so long that art was just unenjoyable because of the struggle of trying to make anything, but I've worked myself out of it after doing some studying of my own and putting it into practice. It's been working tremendously, as you can see through my recent posts. It makes me so fucking happy to be making good shit after so long. Hopefully from here I can further improve my skills, and make things that can really blow people away, at least as far as furry art goes.

I'll eventually learn animation, as was my goal since I was 11. I know a little on how to go about it, but it'll take a bit more motivation and studying from my end before I put anything in terms of that out to you all. Commissions will also be a possibility in the near future, once I get to a solid point where I feel like I can deliver. I used to do them in the past and always got praise from my commisioners, so if they were happy back then, I can only imagine how they'd feel with my current skill. I love making shit for people, after all, so it oughta be a pleasant experience once I get that ball rolling again.

Keep a look out for me. I'll be on the grind for a good while from here on out. Hold me to that. I'll maybe have a new piece perhaps tomorrow, depending on if I can decide what to do. See ya!
