As much as I love the clean look of digitally made art, I've been thinking of how I used to make art fit for posting online and that method was good old pen and paper. Jeez, I think the last traditional art piece I made was on my old, old DA around, I dunno, 2011-ish? I think I'll give it another go, it could be interesting.

Sorry for not uploading anything new lately. I've lost all motivation for art and writing, and RL stuff not going as planned. My life is a fucking mess and feels like I'm going nowhere fast.

I'm not sure why, but I had gotten sick with a nasty cold just as the festivities were ending with my family. Thursday night I was already feeling off but unsure why. I chalked it up to too much turkey since I was feeling tired by the evening hours only to wake the next morning with the full force. I don't know how I picked it up, no one else around the two days before was sick with anything. Just my luck I guess.

Anyway, now that NaNoWriMo is nearly done I can polish up what I've written so far. It's a fantasy that crosses with modern day but I think people will like it. I'll post more about in the coming months. :)

Hoping I'll finally complete the challenge this year. So there's not going to me a lot of activity for a while longer. Just to let you know.

Something I hadn't done in several years it seems, and that was roleplay sessions. I want to try it again even though I may be a bit out of practice. Mostly as a way to break through this writing funk I'm in. I'm fine with either Pokemon or something not tied to fandoms at all. Anyone is free to note me to discuss details.

I heard this song while browsing through some new stations on Pandora and the lead singer's voice sounds pretty close to what I imagined Puck's voice to be, deep, warm and has a thick Galarian accent. Yeah I'm one of those Pokefans who also headcanons region dialects match their real world counterparts. (Even though most of Galar is the UK, Puck still has a Scottish/Crown Tundra accent.)

A follow up from two weeks ago. It looked like a sure victory for a while there but we got rushed the past 36 hours and ended up 4th overall. Ah well. Back to our (semi) regularly scheduled arts and fics.

A hiatus from my Pokemon fanfic that is, just until the end of September. I had recently taken on a second part time job to earn a little extra money toward some future procedures. I didn't expect to land this second job so soon, because I'm also taking part in a month long PvP style competition on one of the sites I visit daily (Torn, formerly Torn City). I'm actually wanting to give it my all this year so yeah, online activity is going to be infrequent until around the 25th. Or until my team gets wiped out of the competition early. We'll see.

It's been over a month since I last completed a new chapter to my Morgrem fanfic. It's not that I don't want to do it, but more like I can't form the words needed to move the plot along. My mind is like its stuck in a perpetual haze, I don't know what's wrong with me. Maybe I need a vacation from all this everyday life or something.

Maybe I should try a new hobby for a while to regain some inspiration for more art and stories. I did have a couple activities I want to try such as gardening or badminton, but I'm open for suggestions too.
