Sadly my dad is no longer with me but thinking of him is the right thing to do and to send him wishes to the afterlife.

I'm really sorry for lack of activity over the months, things have been hectic but hopefully that's all behind me now.

I can't believe that we're nearly half of the year already and the last time I made something new was April.... whoops! ^^;

Next month I will really make my new sona to serve as my main avatar and since Rico stepped down, I shall be known by the name "Avi" as it's easier, hope you like it! ^^


Just so you know as I'm coming out of my shell, I'm gonna be focusing more on making content for myself as well as for you guys to see and when I'm fully back, I will start on taking commissions in the coming months, hope you will be looking forward to it, I'm gonna make sure with me in the past few months will not get me down and focus on what's now, I have also quit energy drinks and other bad habits for good!


I like to apologize for the mood I been having in the past few months, with now I remembered who I really am, an artist who loves to create for a relief from stress, the truth is I been creating cartoon art to help relieve my anxiety a long time ago and just stuck with it, with the pandemic going on I fell into the life.... with also two of my loved ones passing away a couple years ago I felt lost, depressed and went into bad habits, as time went on my true self starts to slowly return and I feel I want to create art again and this time, I'm gonna be doing it differently as it would now eventually be my future career and it's doing something in my life too but.... my own signature style will always be the same!


So enough about me babbling, remember to keep creating art if you love it and there will be many more future ideas and character designs to behold from others, I might discuss another story about this later! Take care everyone! :)

I just like to mention that I'm actually feeling signs of improvement with my wellbeing, I been at practice drawing and skill never disappears, hope to have something new for you the following next week as my motivation is slowly returning, it's been ages!


I want to thank you for sticking with me during my time of an artist hiatus, it really hasn't been an easy time but if you're on addictions, it takes a lot out of you to withdraw from them completely, I just want to apologize to everyone for my mentality in the past two years, the pandemic really broke me but now that it's over (while the virus isn't) I can hopefully get my energy back and do what I love once again, then there will be more content for you to enjoy! :) At the moment I'm chilling out on games.


Since I'm out of a job and it's hard to find a good one because of a condition I have, I'll find a way to make my hobbies a living, it will be some time but life can be a puzzle leading to greatness, remember if you have friends who love and support you, that's all that matters and you already found greatness!

I want to let you know that I'm feeling better, taking some time off was the right thing to do as the negativity fades away from me and getting back what I really love, I still may need more time but the worst of it has swayed past me. :)

Hey guys, I need to let you all know that I'll be taking a break from being online for a few days at least and that is including Discord, I may pop around with close friends for some time but I really need some personal time to get myself straight, I haven't been sketching for at least a week and I also need some time for me to de rust on that when I feel I want to draw again, I also haven't been feeling well mentally in the past month and I'm afraid it will effect what I got planned for this year, while I will not mention what I got planned anymore I still wanna make sure you guys get to see some great content of the right quality and to make that happen, there has to be some time off, while I am not phasing out on cute stuff like charming dragons and such, I will also want to aim for a more mythical kind of style while still retaining my trademark toon style.


I will see that all you great supporters of me will still be here when I return, remember to keep on creating and do what you love doing, I shall see you when you return, love you all! <3

For those who don't know, Barry Humphries was a beloved Australian entertainer and well known for being his persona Dame Edna, he sadly has passed away aged 89. :(


He's really a part of my childhood in my young years and been on TV often during the 90's going into the 2000s, he's one who kept me entertained in my early years especially as Dame Edna, he was an icon for my country and will be sadly missed.


May he rest in peace!

I thought to share a little announcement with what's gonna happen with this account, Rico has been my sona since 2016 and the mascot of this account since 2020, he has served me really well and made all you guys happy since he first came online since 2011.


Now I had my 3rd anniversary of being AviZergen, as you may know me from past times that I said I'm known by this name permanently and all this time since I moved to this name and still being Rico, I am without an official avatar for AviZergen and I have made the decision to step down Rico as my sona and making him my main character for the account, I am gonna be similar to what Ferroth is doing but will not be the same species as him however.


I will not explain details of what my new sona will be as of yet but I can say that you might love it and be used to it (will still NOT be human), I will explain why I am making this change:


First of all I am being known as being named "Avi" a lot instead of Rico then I thought to make this fix, why don't I be something more suitable? The purpose of having Avi in the name means Aviator and as I have interest in aviator characters such as Zoom-Zoom from Pocket Dragon adventures as well as Aero from ZookieDragon, they are what made my inspiration.


Second of all, for the duration of the pandemic and the loss of my grandma and my dad in a year, I fell into depression as well as being on bad habits and having health problems which resulted me not having any motivation to draw anything leaving me to submit one new art once every 2 weeks to a month which is not good enough in my point of view, I know you can't rush art but doing something little doesn't really help with my anxiety, I like to return to my draws on certain times of the day to help combat with negative thoughts, staying productive is really helpful with my love for fantasy.


But now I know all my defects and make a plan to fix them, I'm also gonna make the plan to go back to my old roots and draw because I love it and will always have a place of my heart, as you may know I have already started to take it to the next level, my art has evolved a lot over time and I have all you supporters to thank for my motivation to keep me online! :)


Now I'm moving on for better days ahead without even rushing it, my new avatar will show my true meaning of representing myself for love for art, creatures as well for outdoor activities and what my real goals and interests are, I'm gonna have to tell you not to worry as Rico will still be here but he will now be considered as my main OC, but it won't change anything with him as the adventures of Rico and Skye will be my main focus, they will still be drawn often, Rico will hope that you will respect my new sona as you respect him.


So yeah, that is all I want to say as best words as I could specifically think of, I hope you understand this change and here is to my future of art and to my life as well as our friendship and support for many more years to come! Hope to still see you here! ^^

While right now I haven't been online very much due to personal bad habits after suffering from pandemic blues but I'm slowly recovering to getting back at my best!

Hey guys! I'm here once again! ^^


I'm not going into detail what I been doing during March other than my nephew's and brother's birthday so I'll make this quick.


My rehabilitation has just begun, I'll slowly be getting back to being active here now that we're into the new month, I have been sketching in my book yesterday and my skills aren't affected in anyway, I apologize for not fulfilling my promise for art during the March, which is why I'm not gonna make any promises from this day forth, I can't promise for more art but I will have a way for wanting to do it more than ever, I'll explain down below:


Yesterday I had an appointment with Centrelink and because I have mild autism I'm under contract to be in services with them until I'm 35, I'm 31 now so I'm not far away from finishing, they said that I don't have to have a job but funny thing, it's compulsory to do something and I know what something can be.... ART!


So yeah things haven't always been this easy for me but I'm slowly improving, thanks for bearing with me! :)


Off related topic: Pokemon movies have been airing on one of the channels in Australia every Saturday, they must really love Pokemon too. >w<

Hey guys, in the past few weeks I been in a depressive state as well as me feeling unwell in the past few days, I just want to say thank you all for your patience and bearing with me and as well for your great support :) when it comes to me drawing again, I thought I let you know that I do want to overhaul my drawing style but nothing with the characters will change, I try not to rush things as I had a bad habit of doing so, try to expect some good things on the way when I feel I want to work on my own art personally, it's just that these times for me had been rough and trying to come out of my bad habits ~

Hey guys, sorry for not being on much lately as I been dealing with a massive headache, I can feel the pressure inside my head which makes my sleeping feel uncomfortable....

I know Valentines Day is not just about the couples, it's also giving appreciation to friends too but for me though it's a bit too much so I don't celebrate it.


I'm always unsure of the day in February it's in so I'll spread the message now, Happy Valentines day!

Lately throughout Janurary I been gaming for retroachivements as well as watching the Australian Open and if you know me I do love my Tennis so I been taking a much needed break offline for a bit.

Now that I'm back on I hope to come up with some drawings soon, at my own pace of course and I'm not gonna mention what I'm gonna make or when I'm gonna do it, I will surprise you all when I have something new to upload.
