Well I couldn't make Furfright and people had a ton of fun at Midwest Furfest last weekend, but I get to spend a whole month with  cronokun :D

It's Christmas and since I have the free time, I am offering a sketch to the first 5 people who ask for one in this journal. You can ask for whatever you want with the following restrictions:

2. Nothing too complex. I don't want to draw a character with a billion accessories riding a motorcycle from an overview angle.
3. If it's a fursona other than your own, I will need permission from the owner to draw it.

It's been raining a lot recently, and that's made the temperature cooler. Could it be my part of the country is finally experiencing fall weather? And a month early too. Of course we usually transition with a period of sudden hot and cold days before the weather sticks to cold.

Also, pumpkin pie. Yum.

Many people don't often bring up the people who are actually born or have a birthday on 9/11. Maybe because you only have a 1/365 chance of getting it. My dad seems to have won that unfortunate jackpot.

Ten years ago, I woke up to go to school. I was 13 and in middle school. I remember it was a Tuesday because we had pizza the night before. Back then my dad had Sundays and Mondays off, so we always got pizza on Monday night. I got up like usual and got dressed. I would always put on my socks and shoes in the family room instead of my room because it gave me the excuse of watching TV while I did it. So I went to the family room and saw my dad there watching TV. I went up to him and gave him a hug, wishing him a happy birthday. I then sat down and watched TV. I remember what went through my mind. "Why is dad watching some cheesy movie? Why isn't he watching the news like he always does?" And then I realized it wasn't a movie, it was the news. I couldn't believe it. Seeing one of the World Trade Center towers in smoke and the other gone was something you'd see in a movie, not real life. I didn't want to leave for school because I wanted to keep watching. Right before we left, the second tower came down. I watched it live on television along with the rest of the country. We arrived late at school but the staff didn't care. Usually they would do tardy lockouts but they just told everyone to get to class as quickly as possible. My first class was Geography and the teacher was trying to get the TV working. Some students didn't know what was going on. Every since that day, my dad's birthday has had the dark cloud of a national tragedy over it. I can relate to families who had children born on that actual day, having to walk the thin like between celebration and solemn remembrance. My dad got lots of happy birthdays before then, so it's not that big a problem. So my heart goes out to all the families 9/11, and to anyone with a birthday on this day.

Okay, so I'm going to try and not be as lazy. So I'm going to schedule my time better and try to get my fansub stuff done on time and also have time to actually draw stuff or work on fanfiction. I hope this works out and I don't just fall back into my laziness.

Less than 2 weeks now. I've got everything ready. I get more excited with every passing day :D
I'll be leaving on Wednesday night by plane and arriving in Pittsburgh on Thursday morning. After that, it's just a bus ride from the airport to about a block from the Westin. I hope the weather is nice. I'm used to high heat, but not high humidity.

Found someone to room with so I'm going. I hope to have a great time there. Anyone else going? :D

Does anyone have a spot for one more fur in their room? I'd still like to go to AC and am willing to pay for my share of the room.

The friends I was going to stay with kicked me out today. I had already paid them $270 for my share of the room and today they told me it was being refunded and that I had to look for someone else to stay with. I don't know anyone else and now I have nowhere to stay. I'm going to have to cancel my ticket and just stay home. I was so looking forward to it too

Yep, going to my first furry con. It's kind of a long trip to take too. Found a cheap flight but I'm going to spend 7 hours traveling from Las Vegas to Pittsburgh. I've never been further east than Chicago and that was when I was a baby. It will be worth it though. Going to be staying with friends at the Westin (Helping pay for the room of course). I'm both excited and nervous. Anyone have any advice for when I'm there?

I haven't really submitted much this past year. I gotta stop being distracted by all the awesome stuff on the internet. Anyway, the Spring Semester started about two weeks ago and I'm already very busy. All this work and I'm a procrastinator. -_-

I haven't been keeping track of submissions or comments on FA or DA. I only watch a couple people but man the stuff adds up after awhile O_O So if I'm a little late replying to stuff you'll know why.

Well that's all for now. Hopefully it doesn't take me another six moths to write a new journal.

Well if you read  acrufox's journal, you'll know that he doesn't want to work on Zorori anymore because he's overworked. Please contact me if you can help out in any way. Acru is willing to still do the timing and encoding, but I need people to look over the script for spelling, grammar, and timing mistakes. A second translator would also help. We also need people to seed the torrent files or to offer up hosting the files for direct download and someone to upload the episodes to Youtube. Please contact me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.

Acru has picked  arcc to do the script check.

Somehow the guy got me into helping translate the show. It's his sex appeal I tell you. It has to be since his jokes are so corny.

And I like working on the show. The first season is almost done and we're starting work on season 2 soon. Another 52 episode for me,  acrufox and  rimskiy to work on.

We're also thinking about re-releasing the first series in a higher definition and fixing the mistakes made. If you've spotted any, feel free to leave me a comment so I can fix it.

Well if you've read  acrufox journal, you'll know Zenryoku Usagi got a translator. Now I have two series to work on and less time to do schoolwork. Oh well, I'll have more time come summer. But I'll have to get a summer job, so no rest for me ;_;

So  acrufox keeps me busy timing and working on Zorori, but I enjoy every second of it. Of course this wouldn't be possible without the help of our amazing translator  rimskiy and his friends :D We can't thank you enough!

Of course, there's another series we'd like to sub, Zenryoku Usagi (全力ウサギ). Translators are hard to find. (hint hint)

Now off I go to do more work~

2007 is at an end and a new year is about to begin. I always wonder what the new year brings. Excitement, adventure, drama, despair? Whatever it is, one things for certain, my new year's resolutions won't make it past February.
