a tornado hit my town not even 4 blocks away from my house please keep my town in your prayers it destroyed my favorite antique mall from being hit head on along with a hotel with people inside right next to it. i'm still shaking from it my nerves are shot right now so if i don't fav stuff was much as normal for me it's because of me helping folks in town through these tough times

wanted to make a post just updating yall on my work and overall life
chapter 1 might be delayed to late September or early October due to me trying to focus on other stuff in my life
first of which is top surgery I've been talking to other people in my state who have had the surgery covered by insurance which means I'm going to try that route, I won't be able to get the consultation till late December or early January due to me needing to be on hrt for 1 year from what I've learned the surgery is usually 2 months after the consultation which means 2023 might not have a lot of updates on my webcomic sadly but I hope you will understand that I'll need time to recover from major surgery. I've decided to drop monthly scripts when that time comes
the scripts are what they sound like the script for the comic don't worry the actual comic will eventually come out for those chapters. I'm still trying to figure out a way to make the scripts enjoyable without the actual imagery without having to write a whole ass book lol.
second I'm moving to colorado in late 2024 or early 2025 I've finally made the decision so I can better my life. I'm aiming for Denver (I know the cost of living is high but the cost of living in Oklahoma for a trans person is even higher) I might live with family for a month or two before moving out once I get a job and find a person looking for a roommate. as you know Oklahoma isn't the best place for a trans person this state feels like hell irl it doesn't feel like a home. I personally find the idea of leaving the state and leaving all worries of people from my past behind and starting a new life where I can finally be free therapeutic.
I haven't decided on college or what I want to do I have so many options and interests that it is hard I could go to art school but am I going to get a job that pays well in Denver I've thought about being a vet tech or dental hygienist since I enjoy both of those things I love animals and I love teeth (you probably guessed that from my work lol) I'm going to try to see if I can get a scholarship for schooling since I did get mostly all As in middle and high school or any financial aid from the Cherokee nation since they give assistance to people in need if they meet the requirements which I do
sorry for not posting as you can tell I'm trying to plan a lot of stuff moving surgery college the list goes on and on so be patient with me on the art side of things
but as far as chapter 1 goes I'm on the lineart stage I'm finishing it slowly but surely like I said before it should be done late September early October. but since you all have been waiting a few months I thought I should give you a summary of sorts for it. chapter 1 6 monsterians and 1 human follow up where the prologue leaves off that night. where Ricky is introduced to the remaining six members Jack, Von, Kol, Manty, and Jed. ricky learns very quickly of the chaotic nature of the six members and how they aren't what he pictured them to be by what Bradon told him in the prologue.
I hope yall will understand that I'm not posting as much art. I still do commissions if you want one (plus all the money from commissions is either going to surgery or moving out so anything helps even the smaller 5 dollar ones)

I wanted to pop in and give you all some life updates involving my work and what's in the works or is planned for 2022. I should say this first since it's probably one of the most important is that there's a possibly that the prologue will be delayed a little and might not be finished posted till mid to late March. The main reason is due to a lot of factors. I've had a lot of health stuff come up, some more serious than others, and I've had to put time into fixing and focusing on that otherwise I won't be able to make content for you guys. I put a more relaxed deadline due to me making myself so stressed I get sick, and doing this for a prolonged period like I have for the past year can and has cause many problems for my overall health. Not only that, but I'm trying to get my physical and mental health in check while I have time to work on it. I'm still working on a content schedule for 2022, and I'm working on my first speedpaint for the year right now as we speak. I might start doing speed paints every other week, so I can make quality speed paints. Furthermore, I've been trying to make time for myself more the past couple of months and allowing myself to take breaks. If you've been around a while, you know I'm a workaholic that tries to work every second of my day till I pass out only to wake up 4 hours later to do it all again, so me taking breaks is very well needed.
But on the bright side, I currently have 15+ chapters written out for the webcomic. For the webcomic, I currently have planned to release for sure the prologue and chapter 1. Chapter 2 is a little up in the air since I don't have a rough estimate on a page number yet but trust me for you jack fans chapter 2 is going to be a special treat for you. I've considered releasing the chapter scripts early for everyone since it takes 4 whole months to pop out a chapter and I don't want you guys to wait till 2025 to see Ricky and Bradon going on a date lol. I don't know how exactly I would release the script early for you guys since it's formatted weird to fit my weird needs for it to make sense to me, but it's just a thought. Streaming is also a possibility I've thought about, but it'll be a few months till I can feel comfortable saying whether I feel up to it. I'm super excited overall to see the story I've had cooking up in my head for the past 6 years playing out finally after all these years. The current plan for the release of the prologue is to post it normally like I do on here, FA, and toy house but to also try posting it on tapas to help possibly find an audience of people who are looking for webcomics in particular.

Wanted to make a small little journal saying there is going to be no speedpaints till January I decided to take a partial break for the holidays. Don't worry I'm still working on the comic I'm officially starting the line art stage of the webcomic. Really excited to pass this major milestone in the process of working on the prologue can't wait to release it in early March for yall

gonna be honest no speedpaint this week after what happened yesterday at my doctor's appointment I need time to mentally recover from it or I might lose it please be understanding
i can't say much since i might be taking a legal route due to what happened but i'm working on getting that sorted out and that has taken up all my time the last couple of weeks so i might start doing speedpaints every other week due dealing with all this
it might delay the webcomic a bit but i'm still aiming to finish in the first quarter of 2022
mentally speaking i've been in such a bad place with it i almost have zero drive to get up and do anything even the things that make me the most happy like streaming,drawing, playing video games etc so i'm trying to put getting my mental health in a better place over daily progress on the comic cause if i work now it'll look like shit basically.
but on the bright side i have a trans resource fair i'm going to this weekend and i'll be getting doctor names so i can look into starting t again and get a name of a good surgeon for my future top surgery and possibly joining a support group to get through these tough times so at least thats something good
i hope yall can be understanding of me having a lack of content right now and can be patient when i can finally come back to streaming and doing weekly speedpaints happy again :)

wanted to come on and make a post talking about some updates on the comic and a ton of other stuff
so far if things go as planned the comic will be released roughly around 10 am-12 pm on the 20th of September. Keep in mind that it's gonna take me a bit of time to post each individual page title it caption and tag it and on FA it has an anti-spam so it takes 30 seconds in between the already complicated uploading situation at least it is to me lol. So please be patient I've worked on most of this comic on my streams and off-stream and I'm excited to release it if you can please share it or share my other work since I've put a ton of time into these comics
I'm also trying to plan what big project I'm gonna work on next I don't wanna spoil anything or get your hopes up with future concepts of work I plan on doing. If you're a long-time follower or have seen my toyhouse you'll notice I mention route this route that and that's because I hope to make my story people collide into a visual novel dating sim game. however, over the years I've considered taking this story other places or exploring it in different means like short stories or a long-running webcomic, or even animated shorts. there's already so much I want to say and write for this story and these characters since they've been my life and have helped me get through tough times.
if I continue with the origin comics von's will be next and considering von is a fan favorite I hope the comic I have planned will be a different one and something more serious. I'm not gonna lie I've loved making these comics more than I thought I would so I've truly thought about making this story and these characters into a webcomic rather than a game. I know this is a bunch of rambling but it needs to be said.
another thing is in the future when I get a job outside of art (since I get no commissions and I need a way to pay for meds ) streams and my schedule will change involving my art and work in general. if you want to see me work full time on art and stuff like that consider supporting me. another thing I know this might be a few years before this comes up but when I eventually get top surgery I won't be doing much art in order to recover along with surgery some of my family members will be getting surgery in the next year or so and when that comes I'll take a month off stream to care for them and that kind of stuff
if I decide to work on the von comic it'll be released in spring of 2022 or if I start the webcomic I'll try to release monthly pages (I'm still planning it out lol)
