Yep! It's been a while since I've made a journal so let me get all the news out!

I've been working a lot more than what should be legal, but by regulations of FMCA, it's legal! I have been working on writing and stuff when I can and I'm not mentally exhausted to the point where I want to do is sleep. I do have extra short stuff written but it's much for me to want to post as it was just me using what free time I did have to get small ideas off my chest. Ideas have came and went and I ended up in an endless cycle of oh that's a good idea before it circles around to: "well, now I'm stuck". This has left me with entire folders of incomplete stories that I can't seem to further.

Outside of work, I've been working on some more concrete ideas that I'm hoping explains a lot of things in my universe because I don't want to cause any confusion towards how certain characters, certain species exist and others don't. The other linked story: 'The Eyes of Malachi", happens on the opposite side of the time line as "The Mind Field". This should give you an idea as to how the timeline is split. Thankfully, time travel is currently NOT possible in my universe so the event of the past cannot be altered. On top of that, I don't like paradoxes as they further complicate things.

There is a furry built and themed game out that has this subject matter and it's actually quite entertaining. It's called "Broken Dreams Correctional Center". To be honest I'd like try to get a spot in the game. Haha! Anyway, I don't want to feel like I'm stepping on feet with what the game has compare to what I did with "Grassplane Institute". Yes I have a skeleton idea of what I want to do with a second story but...see my previous statement.

Other stories are coming along and I've giving some new characters a story of their own/alternate timeline for one, who really REALLY need as one character has gain an interesting following. Ugh! I need more art of that character too.

And I know, I'm like super extra behind on posting art because... I forgot! I'll be doing that soon!

UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN!

To keep it simple: it’s been rough for me for a while. I haven’t had the motivation to do anything lately in terms of writing or even posting art that I’ve gotten from ages ago! Work and other things have been weighing heavy on me and oddly, I just didn’t think about posting anything here as I just didn’t have anything to post that I would be happy to show.

Yea I been on TikTok and posting videos there buuuut secret is: most of my videos are pre-recorded and I post them later! So yea you missed out on a lot.

I have a couple of new suits that I’m going to try to get pictures of.

I have a few new characters that their art will be coming soon.

I have an updated version of myself that I’m looking forward to sharing.

Xander as a suit has been off for repairs since 2018 and I haven’t gotten him back yet.

Ayn as a suit for the current coloration (version 2) has a builder and just needs to get made.

My female side, originally named Sayna is now Sanya (Sa-ni-a) and will have a suit made

Xander’s female side: Xandra will be made into a suit as well.

I have two new surprise characters coming that I hope you’ll like. Neither has been drawn yet but one is coming as a suit.

I’m remaking a Lucario character and I have a new idea for something I’ve been thinking about for a while.

There are several stories coming that I’m working the kinks out of and I will post them as soon as I can! And I think that does it for now and until next time!

Ok so I fell behind on EVERYTHING while dealing with work, getting fursuit commissions figured out and dealing with some other things that fell in between. I did post the second running of the Candy store orgy..story and I'm currently on a stage where I'm at a total blockage right now.

Now I do have a bit of art and some fursuit pics to post from MFF but I have REAAAAAAAAAALLY have to sort through them and get things figured out. I do have two outstanding fursuit commissions and one that's getting an update

First of the commissions is actually a double but the maker has been having some difficulties that I'm not at liberty to discuss and we we are working on moving them forward. Yes I know I've been waiting a while for these and other commissions but I'm doing my best get them sorted out. Once they are done, there will be a video made about them as the show up.

The second I fear has been abandoned as I have not heard from them in over and a half and that commission is fully paid for. Most of my attempts to get in contact with the person has fallen on a deaf tone. I'm not sure what's going on here but it did ruin plans for FWA 2017 and as of now, it's totally stopping me from carrying out a plan I have told a few people about. The thing that makes this commission worse is that for the second idea that was to go along with this commission is that I ended up having a friend who is very hand with lighting effects for video and photography who wanted to help me with it but without the suit, I'm unable to start production. Another friend wanted to help but because of the time frame needed for the project, it didn't work out.

Now for the suit that's getting and update. Did you notice that are no pictures of Xander's suit being posted anymore? Well because of an issue with the head, I had to send it and a dummy off the maker of the partial who's working on fixing it. Best of all.... SHE'S MAKING THE BODY TOO! YES! Now this is a first run of a body for her but I have full confidence that she will do a most excellent job! Like with double commission, Xander will get his own re-introduction video! I'm going to be working with the person who was going to help with the BIG project for the said lighting effects! So please, keep your eyes and mind open for this!

Also, I made, yet another, adoption and added a new character to the cast. Who is it you ask? Well... did you go to MFF 2018? Did you see the gray dragon walking around? That's him! I will be posting some pictures of him when I get the chance to sort through them!

What is currently happening is that I have been stupid busy since my last update with work and some other issues that have came up. As it stands I'm still going to MFF but I will down two suits! Now before you freak out it's not Savoy! She will be at MFF trust me! However I did have to send a head back for fixing as the eyebrows were not staying put and they had to be corrected, no deadline was given so said suit will be missing from MFF.

Second is the commisssoned Assembly for me, the Ayn! While I have a head that ready for fur, that is the last known update that I know of! I do know that I have fur and other materials but there is no further information. All I can say is that this particular maker does juggle with suits and a normal fulll time job but outside of that I'm currently up to one year for this project as no exact deadline was set but asked for dates have been suggested since.

Third: you are in for a surprise at MFF as someone is joining my cast of characters! Who do you ask? Well find me at MFF and I will show you!

Fourth: outside of two still in the works projects I'm looking someone who will be willing to take the task of building Kyocera ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/24465776/ ) I have doing some digging and I couple of fursuit makers I have looked up are currently closed for commissions with no PTA (projected time of availability). So the search continues!

Fifth: with all of the above going on, I'm slowly working on a huge project that I really hope kicks off! I will say that it's FNAF inspired and that's all I will say!

FWA 2018: Space Station Con

I meant to write my review of FWA a while ago but I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to describe it without dragging you into a heated about convention operations and how to best please your fans. It’s like FWA while being one of the first cons I’ve been to of considerable size, MoMo Con being the first well sized one, I can say that I enjoyed my visit to FWA even with a few issues that came up. I did arrive home one day late and the scramble to get all suits packed up and get the rental vehicle along with waiting for my friend Furry Mike to get on board with the game plan as well. Even while running late, we got most of the things worked out with the hotel and thankfully Marriot Guest Services are generous about rooms. Anywho, we didn’t arrive at the hotel until almost 2100 Thursday (9:00pm for you non-military timers) and by 2200 we were in line for registration. Like MFF the registration line was easily a mile long and the wait time was said to be about 4 hours. I kind of laughed this off thinking that they were just yanking legs about as my phone’s battery reached near flat-line levels, the time seemed to play itself out. However, the group of us that stuck together started to tag FWA as Sitting Con as the hours ticked away for registration. It got so boringly long at times, there were a handful of people who dozed off when the line didn’t move for 20 minutes or more. Thankfully for us Pokemon GO players, we could pass the time abusing Pokestops for Pokeballs, berries and what else they spat out for our amusement as long our batteries held up. It was strange that as we waited, my twitter feed basically exploded with people retweeting pics of the wrist bands being issued at registration and even more so with negative feedback about waiting so long just to get that and a luggage tag instead of a memorable con badge. Of course I left twitter at that just wanting to get the night over with and after heading how the wrist band works this is when I realized that the theme they gave us, didn’t make match the title. By the time me and Furry Mike got back to the room, it was 0230 and we just retired there not wanting to deal with rest of the day until the con started.

0900 came quickly and after getting cleaned up and breakfast fed, I decided to go check out what was going on and see how much more damage was done and of course the registration line was a mile long and the murmurs hung in the air like a thick fog. However, I kept my head high and wanting to hope for the best for the con and just as quickly as I hoped, it went downhill seeing the lines for wrist band scanning and more so because people were in suit trying to scan it and it was not working as said. Even more so with me getting in suit, we quickly realized that this wrist band idea was… BAD. Even more so, the overall theme setup reminded me more of Deep Space 9 than a Galactic Gunslingers but I had two more days to let FWA try to impress me and more so with it being wrestlemania weekend, I had something to look forward to after main con events were over. Of course the wrist band complaints continued on but I just chalked it up to the game and pressed on.
0900 Saturday and after a repeat breakfast, my con visit continued with Savoy making her third con appearance and just like MFF and Megaplex before, she grabbed more attention than what I barginned for. Even more so the fursuit menagerie seemed to be interesting but yet just more times to be stopped for photography even outside of the group photos but I will get to more on this later. Saturday went off without a hitch and more so, one of Lilah’s transformations, a delphox in this case seemed to be grab a few eyes but more or less people trying to get me to stop being grumpy. NEVER! Honestly I like where that character is going and I can’t wait to get it off the ground more. I am still getting used to the wide eye placement but holy-molly people like it.

Sunday came just as and time was winding down for Wrestlemania and honestly, I couldn’t wait any more for it than the end of the con. I did suit as normal lilah for the time but when it came time to pick up art and get the last few things I needed, I really REALLY didn’t get as many pics as I hoped for but it was good as the squeaky puppy make her own. I met up with my friend Wezen and skipped closing ceremonies to talk with her and honestly pray that our projects were not randomly ready and I didn’t have the final payment ready but it seems that we just needed to get talk and catch up on some things which was good and I was happy to see her again. After our encounter, it was time for wrestlemania and that was finished off the con experience unlike any other con I’ve been to before.
FWA 2018 was a different experience than even MFF but it just seems like the whole wrist band idea scared a lot of people away and twitter confirmed it…somewhat. I didn’t exactly have anything to say about it. FWA is big like a said before and it’s that size that hemorrhages out the sides and seems cause mixed feeling about the con. I can’t sympathize with the all con-suck-ups who always say it was a great con and the rest of the blah they spit out but I will say that if this trend continues, I don’t want to be around for the backlash to come.


Megaplex 2018: Islands of Heat and MORE HEAT

Unlike the elephant size of FWA, Megaplex is not size a hemorrhaging con but more of the relaxed, resort with friends kind of con if you ask me. I got the one a day early to technically explore Orlando but with the transit time, registration and the need to sleep, my happy trucker behind didn’t venture out like I said I was going to do but that’s all good because it allowed me to get things settled and more, wait on a package that seemed to be the only issue about getting to Megaplex. Not wanting to wait for the package and with an 8 hour drive ahead of me, I left home at 0400 and arrived in Orlando about 1300 after stopping for food and fuel. Me and Furry Mik again, decided to travel together and with two others unable to come down, it was going to be slightly different than last year since I wouldn’t have a person to be my designated photographer. With an express package coming in hot I couldn’t wait to get the con started.

Friday came and Xander make his rounds and of course, being the Pokemon that he is, he wasn’t quiet about making sure people knew who the strongest of the Eevees are. Honestly this got more laughs than what I thought and more so, it fit so perfectly with his character. This is when I really started to feel the effects of the heat, black fur, dark clothing..yea it got hot very quickly but it was not unbareable. Of course outside of suit antics, Pokemon GO dominated my off time which turned out to be a lot of fun still! The best part was that I did get to evolve my Eevee into an Umbreon! However during the off hours, I did eat at the on permisses restaurant and come to find out they had a custom menu just for Megaplex which was an eye opener! Not even FWA could swing that! After some very interesting Tacos and shot of Jameson Whiskey… I felt better and retiring to the room was the best idea.

Saturday came and with a smile, I know it was time for the best to shine and Savoy made her second Megaplex appearance and like last year, she was very popular in her own right. She was the only full sugar glider style suit present, even though she’s kept getting called a bat for some reason. Even more the fursuit parade went off without an issue of someone constantly running into the back of her head/ears. Once the night came, Lilah Delphox decided to show her grump self and of course people asking her to smile or even just be lighten up but like at FWA even she was getting more attention than what I thought she’d get! Of course I didn’t exactly have to take the head off but I didn’t walk as much as I did as Savoy! I will get to more on these two a bit later as I have some after thoughts about them.

Sunday was Lilah’s day to shine and the squeaky puppy did make some rounds but holy hell it was HOT! I did take some selfie pics for a friend and some pics with people who like the colors but after 2.5 hours, I had to get out of suit, it was just too hot to do anything else with and transiting from one building to the next was like moving from artic cold to blast furnace heat! Like with the delphox form, Lilah has wide set eyes and wow, I need to get used to it again after not suiting for so long. Unlike FWA I did go to closing ceremonies and I did like what Megaplex did and with the announcement of the new venue, I was basically on the edge of my seat waiting for what could happen next!
Megaplex 2018 was great! The theming was good, the overall atmosphere was good and best of all, I woudn’t change it for the world! The smaller con experience just seems to work out better than for the larger cons. Yea I didn’t participate in the dance competition like I had planned but without the suit I wanted to use for dancing, I just felt it was better that I sat off the side and just do what I do normally and it worked out for the best in the end. Yea, I did have a fursuit commission go sour with a total misfitting issue but I didn’t let it ruin my experience! Honestly, we live and we learn to roll with the punches and keep moving forward.

In conclusion, it seems like these two cons heavily contrast each other in terms of experiences, people met and more so fursuiting. If you’re wondering why both of these are shorter than before let me say this: FWA went by really fast like… Thurday Night into Sunday flew by like a F16. Time seemed to pass so quickly but yet for Megaplex it was much more mellow and I’m not sure why this happened. I guess it was the time frame of events or just something else altogether, who knows. Like with Megaplex last year, it seems that I do wonder where each character is going with their own section of popularity. Xander, Savoy, Lilah it just all seems so more different than I want I hoped. People like the bright colors of Savoy. The grumpy nature of Lilah-Delphox and of course Xander being the Umbreon that he is and it all just falls down on me like it was meant to happen. Maybe I’m over thinking the issue but I’m not going to let it deter me from being who I am and what I do. It’s all about making the impression that I’m good at what I do and from I see, I’m doing just so! Thank you and I can’t wait to see you fine furs at the next con: MFF!

Unlike my Megaplex journal I'm actually going to keep this one brief. Why? Because MFF was simply too awesome to describe. My experience there was absolutely amazing. Other than half-day drive up, I super excited to get there and boy was it worth it. Yea the journey up in a Chevy Express 3500 was different and a friend but having two awesome riding people made it well worth it. I brought all my suits and what was even better.. I wore all of them! Unlike at Megaplex where Xander didn't get any time, this time everyone got time out including a new transformation for Lilah that was.. WOW!

I must say that MFF has a lot of pros that work for it and only a few cons that would keep others on the fence. First and foremost is that all of the hotels are very friendly and helpful when it comes to checking in/out of them. I stayed at the Embassy for MFF which I loved. Even when me and my room mate went to the wrong hotel at first, the staff was nice to tell us that we needed to be across the street which was fine! The hotel room was HUGE even for a single King. With 7 suits in the room, we still had PLENTY of space to use when we didn't just strip out of suit and pass out on the bed.

There is a mall just a short walk/drive away if you needed anything but things can get VERY VERY expensive there if you're not careful. Same with food, it can be expensive and in large portions if you're not cautious. Of course there is fast food but that's not what you go to Chicago for! No i did get a chance to have a Chicago-Dog but next time I will.

MFF is also home to A LOT of furs and I do mine A LOT so except to find alot of furs with common interests when you go especially for a first time. I didn't get alot of time to meet up with people I wanted to meet up with like  itallonova and  nightclaw BUUUUUT it did have a lot of fun meeting new people as well! Even more so I didn't realize that once you found a group of people with common interests that it would be like a party. Just ask  furrymike at the fursuit menagerie.

Now if you're a fan of getting you're picture taken... YOU can literally spent countless amounts of time just posing for photos. Trust me on this as Xander during the long registration line and Savoy a little later all go to have a taste of that. I swear between the two of them.. I made more stops to pose for the camera than I did between FWA and Megaplex. Even more so, Lilah's transformation was very well liked as well even with the slow, menancing walk I was doing, think like WWE's Undertaker.

The nights where pretty quiet once the con events came to a stop and people where just mingling or milling about for last second pictures. Unlike FWA which kept having howls at night. MFF was very quiet with the exception of the airport noise. This is plus for me since after suiting most of the day and with a full belly, I'm ready for sleep and need only a little background noise to keep it that way. Megaplex was quiet for the most part too but MFF takes the cake.

Another thing MFF has going for it is you get to see people you haven't last con you went to and in this case.. I...well...Savoy actually, got to see Telephone again but no picture was taken as I had a plan that was going into effect. I also to to meet up with a friend I had seen since FWA and another who I seen before at Megaplex.


Like any event, there is always the bad but it wasn't as strong as other places I've been but they fall inline as follows:

1: Registration Line is horrificly long. Like you can watch an entire feature length/blockbuster movie while waiting in line to get registered. I was in suit as Xander and yes even Xander was getting pretty mad how long the line was. However I did get to pose for a few pics.

2: If you staying at or trying to leave the main hotel.. at the end of day/con it gets really really busy! So much so that at the end of the con when everyone was leaving, I was able to drop off two new friends at Chicago's Amtrak station, in DOWNTOWN and return just as he was getting down stairs to load the van. That's how busy it is there.

3: Food is expensive in the area and is served in large portions so be careful there before ordering unless you want fast food.

4: If you're not a fan of Dutch Angel dragons beware because MFF has LOADS of them, A lot of people complained about this but I'm not really complaining just saying that if you're not careful you could be rubbing ears/tails with one or accidentally stepping on the tail of one. I brushed a couple by accident but when you have ears a large as Savoy's... it happens. And remember I do have an angel dragon of my own but he's non-dutch so yea. Now if yo're not a fan of them, just keep walking. I will say during my Lilah-Grumpy phase, I did have one help me the ear heavy head to stay put.

5: I got touched... ALOT so if you're a not found of being touched... just watch out. Now since I'm mostly a silent suiter or squeaky... it does get hard to convey no touching but none of it was in foul.

That about wraps up MFF which was awesome and more so, I wish to return to it! I had fun meeting two new friends and more so they were awesome roommates too! If you have or know of any photos of me in suit, feel free to hit me up!

Megaplex: That’s What Friend Are For
The Storyteller Chronicle

This story starts just a few days before the trip to the con. As an operator of a large commercial truck, I’m subject to the Hours of Service rules and the extension of those when it comes to recap time. You might want to look this up if you want more information about since it would be a pain to explain here. Anyway, because of those rules and what my recap time looked like coming into days leading into the con, I ended up having to stop short and drop a day to wait for my recap time to give me more time to work with. Essentially I was a day behind schedule for when I wanted to arrive home and get prepared for the con. This included having to turn my truck in since I was taking more than six days off and some other company stuff that I don’t want to get into. Eventually I did get home and I did get packed (which was mainly getting my fursuits and getting a small bag of clothes and toiletries.
Now after dropping off the rental car my employer graciously got for me to get him but not to the con, it turns out that my debit card was TURNED OFF and after fighting with the bank for two hours, I was told that it was on and ready to use. Now after all this, it was too late to get a rental and my friend/roommate/dance partner had to tell our friend “Marcus” That we could not accommodate him for the ride to con because of the limited room we had in the car available to us. Thanks to this, we ended up with the even brighter idea of renting a car from where he lived and STILL go to the con! Thank fully this idea worked and with the blessing we got from that… we pow-wowed in the mini-van and slingshot our way to Orlando for what was Megaplex. Unlike the FWA story, I’m going keep this one short as there is something else I need to explain later.

The New Guy/New Con Name
After getting settled into the con hotel and getting  neos8 into his hotel. Me and  furry_mike went across town to pick up a first time con-goer  tobyg It was his first time going to a furcon and in a way you can small the butterflies in his stomach. The drive to his company’s terminal local in Orlando was fun as I got into a street race in a mini-van with a Prius and Avenger and for the most part… I WON! HA! Take that! Anywho, the trip back to the hotel was uneventful but here is where the con takes a turn for what I now call: PARKING-CON.
Parking Con is exactly what it sounds like. You’d spend just as much time trying to find a parking space at the main hotel as you would walking around the con and going to events. I hated having to drive away from the hotel to do anything as parking-con was in full swing. What I was trying to figure out is HOW IN THE HELL did some furry get a FULL SIZE SCHOOL BUS in the hotel lot! I mean seriously a BUS but yet Toby could not get a commercial truck ½ the size into the lot? WOW! Anywho, with the some parts of the hotel under construction I could understand why there was little parking but yet the overall experience was not bad. I’ve parked a truck and trailer in tighter spots.

The Con Itself/Weekend/NEW CHARACTER REVEAL!
Friday morning after me and Furry Mike’s registration was complete, I decided to suit up and walk with Toby down to registration. This is the only time I made a mistake during suiting as I had a harness on just for the laughs but in turn… not so laughable. Anywho after getting my kicks out of suiting which even then was a chore because of the triple digit heat index. I milled around the dealers den for a bit and picked up a few supplies and got right back in suit as Lilah with just a collar and metal tag with her name on it since her badge and another was not completed in time. This blew over better as a few liked Lilah and even a few picks came out of the deal in the process. But like most of the others, the extreme heat index flushed people into the headless longue to cool off as much as possible. I met up with a few friends during the Friday night hours and we talked for a while before parting ways and going to find dinner without having to drive. This was also the time I hooked up to be a caribou by the thoughtful and loving Wezen which… was different.
Honestly, wearing a suit or how I should say becoming a character that is already established was very inspiring. There was times to where I was lost in my own thoughts formulating a character of my own to fit was I had become even if was just for a con. I’m not sure what it was but something told me to do it and eventually I would but more or less even just being in partial, I wanted more, I wanted to push the boundaries of what I could and would do without stepping on any feet in the process and by word, I did. I had something to work with.
Saturday was a bit more intriguing as I wanted to explore a bit more out of suit before getting back into to suit again. This included suit inspections and even just getting art and such again. Furry Mike went out to take pictures and get prepped for the dance competition without me since the suit and music I picked were not ready in time for the con. (Such much negative things leading into the con BUT they all got washed out by more positive!) After having my fill of out suit fun it was time to get back in suit and have more fun. Saturday was the day I was going a reveal a suit that I’ve kept secret for so long. Barely anyone knew this suit was coming and even then I was a bit nervous about the whole thing since I was not sure how this character was going to be received with one character already bombing and the sister suit to the newest one just squeaking in…The newest suit was going to be more of a challenge than the other two. On top of that, there were rumors flying around that “Telephone” was at the con and this only intensified the feelings about this reveal but staying confident, I suit up and with Toby G as my handler, we set out into the con space.
Even being completely in character mode, I could make out what was going on. This new character…Savoy, Big sister to Lilah, was attracting attention more so that Lilah and the other character combined. This was…different, something I was not used to since Lilah went to Nerd-a-con back home. I will get more on this later. Saturday was amazing and dinner turned into a rather fast pizza order and wow… just wow.
Sunday was mostly out of suit business and more so, getting things I could NOT get into suit so yea it was something to behold! OF course I didn’t hold back on wanting to get back into Savoy and with a new sense of YES! Me and Furry Mike made our way do to the fursuit photo in the main events room where yes you can guess it… Telephone was there with her entourage. Now I am a new character Savoy and mostly being quiet unless a howl or awoo started and then I made protest Sugar Glider noises outside of the 80s dance party from the residual music. After the photo was done, me and my handler moved over to a quiet corner to relax and what do you know…Here comes the angel dragon that EVERYONE LOVES! After a wave and a little side stepping, I moved out of the way to let people take their pics while I just watched and in a way cooled off. After a few pics where taken… my handler wanted to get a pic of Savoy and Telephone and well.. yea.. it happened but more than just happened. Ever seen a brightly colored glider and angel dragon have a 10 second conversation? Well it happened. Once the next swarm of people flooded over to take a pic of Telephone, Savoy, Toby and eventually Tiger, slipped out the main events to the open area where…the inflatables took over and yes… Savoy being the silly glider that she is…well…. had some fun.
The rest of Sunday was good and fursuit parade came where I found out something that started to bother me but more on that later. However, during the parade this one suit kept running into the back of me and even damaged one of Savoy’s large ears. However that was fixed with a little Loctite and good as new. After it was all said and done, the night fell quiet as the con was over and three overheated furs slumbered in the room. My mind started to race.

After thoughts:
Megaplex was a great experience and something I’d love do again. I got hang out and meet new people and I’d do again in a heartbeat. I’m not going to let one argument that happened ruined the time I had there but more importantly was events that happened while I was Savoy. After the group fursuit picture and the picture with Telephone and some playing around on inflatables, it was brought to my attention that a certain person really liked Savoy. On top of that, it was always told to me that few people specifically wanted to get some pictures of Savoy just before the parade started. Now this where things took a turn to where once I was out of character and settled, I was told of other people who really liked the brightly colored glider. It seems as if just one con catapulted a new character into a new of popularity I’ve not seen since I was home with Lilah.
Because of that…my mind started to wander, a lot. Honestly, I was not sure about this new found fame and it scared me just as much. I kept asking myself, is this really the path I’m going down like a runaway train? Is there an emergency brake? What should I do? How do I manage it? It took even me getting back to work to realize that I’ve set out on a path and I still have control of the train. I didn’t need to apply the brakes as I was still slow moving and only just gaining speed. With a new sense of confidence, I finally got a chance to write this break down of my Megaplex experience and more where I’m going from there. More so I remember a song from a while back that gave me even more inspiration to keep doing what I do so with that, The Storyteller signs off from this con experience and hopes to be able to meet up and have fun with everyone at the next scheduled event: Midwest Fur Fest!

At lot of people have me private messaging me asking me about stories, fursuits and more. Yes I will say I am behind but I'm slowly but surely catching up to get things rolling again. So let me break down what's coming and what I'm still looking forward to. It's been a while since I said anything about, any that's not FWA or any con for that matter and it's a bout time I gave some updates on what's going on with a lot of things around. This includes have to reformat my computer due to WHATEVER reason it decided to not want to work any more.

Writing: As I stated above, yes I am behind but it's because of work or anything related, it's more of... I've had some immense sessions of writers block that has been plaguing me since about August or so. I've been working my tail off trying to get things rolling again and it seems that I'm coming along pretty strong with help from some friends like  neos8 and my back-up partner in crime  atanders93

Soon, a bunch of stories will be all coming out which including the following:

2: The Cab Driver
3: A.M Aftershock (based a rather popular game)
4: Blue Future
5: Spinning The Threads (Another Kona Roo story)
6: The Darkest Ice

That is current near completion works and then I will start some other things.


Fursuits:

1: As some of you know, yes I'm working on getting my fursonal suit made with is starting with the head that is being made by the talented:  itallonova I've order some specialty black fur that you can't get any more and once the end is complete, I will be seeking to have the rest of the suit made as well some extras coming that will main stage at FWA 2018! Also  itallonova I REEEEEAAAAAAAALY need to talk you so contact soon we I can get some details worked out.

2: Xander will be getting his body suit this summer so keep a look out for that as well.

3: I'm adopting a suit that is going to have a very important role in a few videos I have planned and I am going to try to get a few things to help with this so keep your eyes open for that.

4: I know some of you are wanting to know about R-T-J and his progress but rest assured because of the complexity behind him...he's coming soon.

5: I do have a project that's as far as I know...abandoned. I don't any more about it's progress and it's sad to say I'm chalking it up as a loss at this point and I'm not sure if I'd revive it at this point as other things have taken priority. Note: I'm only going to dicuss this privately for those who want to know what the in the world happened.

6: By the way, I will be posting a pic a suit I'm sure you've seen or heard about and I keep forgetting to post pics of it here.

7: I know what you're thinking, Hey Ayn, don't you have a lot of suits? - And to that I answer, since you really don't know what videos and such I'm planning, that answer is no. I'm currently looking at a few things to try and some of the videos require a second person so things will work out in the end. If you don't believe me just watch! COME ON!

Art:

1: I do have some badges coming for R-T-J and the suit I'm adopting as well as Lilah getting her fursuit REAL badge!

2: There is old art hanging around on my external HD and I'm going to filter through them and start post them!

FWA 2017 – Game On

The story actually begins a few months back when me and my friend  furrymike were talking about doing a dance together at some point. I had been getting some ideas together in hopes the two of us could work something out about it. Other than the two of us, we had asked for a bit help from a good friend about piecing it all together, music selection and a few other things. Now, I had been practicing more and more but I didn’t really seem to find a niche where I fit it in terms of dancing. Mike being the more expirenced dancer, gave me some pointers but all of that changed when we found out about the con’s theme, in this case, “Game On”. We quickly decided to try out things and see what we could come up with. We started looking for and clipping music but it seems our similar paths of thought brought us together when one of my ringtones went off. I swore I could see lightbulb turn on and the gears turning as he was figuring something out. We came up with the idea of dancing together and using that “ringtone” as a base.

After a bit of digging we would the song that was clipped to make the ringtone and we started to formulate ideas between is. Now, being of only novice dancing we started to formulate something that would be easy for me but yet still enough to get a good showing, however I had to go back on the road and 8.5 weeks, we pondered the idea and talked until we came up with something that flowed. This was the second hardest thing I’ve ever done and I prayed it would pay off.

Now, I had commissioned a special fursuit that was to highlight the dance competition and only that being of the nature it was. However, 2 weeks before the con, I got word that some pieces from the head had not came in and her assistant had took off for another con leaving the pieces to arrive over the weekend but not in enough time to complete the suit and ship it out to make FWA. I literally reached panic mode and I didn’t know what to do. As some of you may know, yes I did have partial ownership of a very well made Lucario suit BUT that suit was too bulky and the extra weight made it hard to complete three key parts of the dance. Hoping Lady Luck was on my side, I asked a friend if the worse came to, could I borrow on of his for the dance. Originally he didn’t like the idea but I will get more into that later.

Day 1 – Enterprising - Fursuits at 90 mph

After dropping of my load and driving the Freightliner home, I proceeded to go over to Enterprise to pick up my rental van. However, it seems that even my luck continued to run out as I was unable to pick up the rental without some extra documentation, which I could not provide given my occupation. After refusing to deal with Enterprise, I set out find my rental van, hell or highwater and thankfully, Avis picked up the deal and rented me a brand new Toyota Sienna. The only thing I didn’t like about this van was that middle seats didn’t fold down making bringing 6 fursuits a chore. (Lilah, Jaska, Lucario, Mike, Tiger and Porthos). However after some quick thinking, we got them all in there and took off for Atlanta! Now, I had already agreed to meet  laterios at a Pilot Travel Center so we could tag team and get conjoined rooms. So after some breakfast and stopping by the bank, me, Mike and one Toyota Sienna headed up towards the Pilot in Newnan Georgia.

It seemed like Red Fox was going to be me there but me being the quick thinking Black Fox that I am, I did some calculations and I figured we’d get there about the same time. Hammer down and breakfast in my hand, I took off from McDonalds. Just over an hour later, I pulled into Pilot and I called Red Fox to see where he was at and low and behold, he was just a few miles behind me. The two crews of furs met up and after some lunch, the mommy missle started the 45 minute trek to Atlanta.

Now originally I was only going about 77 mph but after a slew of trucks, and other cars 77 turned into 85 and at times 90 as I had to dodge idiot truckers and four-wheelers who got their license as Chuck E Cheese prize winner. The Sienna LOVED it, the 8-speed auto kept that Toyota v6 going and I’m sure if I didn’t let off, I would achieve warp speed. However, I felt for the older Town & Country that was following me, she kept up as best as she could but we made it to the hotel in one piece.

After getting checked in and piling up to the room, me and Mike unpacked and started to make some plans after we got registered. 37th floor, wow! The view was great and more so the floor was quiet for a change. After some milling around, I got word that another suit I’d been waiting almost 4 years for was partially finished. This was the highlight of the day and I was told that I could pick it up tomorrow after some last touches where done. I was totally ready for it but as it seems, I had live up to an agreement and the next thing was to meet with  atanders93 and Lucario it was.

The last hurrah as Lucario was interesting, Walked around a bit of downtown just showing off some but this almost caused a car accident in process. So far a few more pics, we turned around and walked back to the hotel, the long way, getting a few more pics and even running into my awesome friend  wezen That was the highlight pic of the night as Lucario and her character fortune posed in front of the character select set piece! Me and Riek parted ways for the night after some talk and the next day was to come.

Day 2 – Enter The Twilight

Day two started off a cool note, I was to pick up Xander, my dark side and well as pay the maker off for him. THIS WAS…AWESOME! (no Miz jokes please.) When I laid eyes on Xander, I just about fell over, the pictures did no justice on the work that was done for him. Even as a partially, I could fully get into character (something I could not do as Lucario). Twilight Umbreon was apon me and I had to comply! Originally I was going get a tote and take him away BUT that failed terribly and I just WORE HIM BACK DOWN TO THE ROOM! But it was no time to celebrate as I had practice for the dance competition until I could pay for Xander. (Just waiting for pay roll to hit)

After talking to Red Fox about using Delphi for the dance competiton, we agreed on the terms of use and we swapped suits for the time, I turned over Lucario and Delphi came to me, however, here is the part I’m going to get to now from earlier. The night before after trying to unzip Lucario, I broke three teeth on the zipper. In a panic, I asked my friend who just gave me Xander to help and in a few minutes Lucario was patched up and I gave Red Fox the news BUT he didn’t like this. I swear I could see the smoke coming out his ears. The volcano of anger billowing for an explosive output of rage and more so talked me down about using Delphi after damaging Lucario. Broken, I looked at Mike and practically gave up at this point.

Hanging my head in shame, I started to walk out before swearing up and down about how bad my luck has been before getting what had to be the most angry yes I ever received. Honestly, I was scared out my pants because I know what was going to be the biggest chance I ever took would either make my weekend or break it up. Pulling myself back together, me and Mike toted Delphi back up to the room and started to practice. After 2 hours of exhausting practice, we made our way down to the panel room or so we thought after getting some bad directions. Just to find out that they were doing singles dances still and we had to return at 1815 hours to get our try out: then the time came.

There was a bit of misqueing on the music but once everything was settled we started the audition everything went well until about 45 seconds into the song where my timing jumped forward! I freaked out and waiting for the next que and get back in line but Mike too lost his time and we had play through a double botch until a perfect ending! After playing my part, one exhausted Delphox lay motionless on the ground completely silent, was he dead? Nope just totally beat, literally, out of breath and technically captured. After the dance we walked to the fursuit longue so I could get something to drink and wait for the results… 2000 hours – We were shown the list and we didn’t make it… Down and a bit ashamed, I returned to my room, undressed, let Delphi’s head dry and toted her back to her owner.

Day 3 – Lilah’s Day

After some breakfast and some morning talking, shopping and more talk, I decided it was time for Lilah to make her first major con break in. Suiting up as Lilah, I grabbed the WWE World Tag Team Title belt and headed out. However, things went from good, to just OK, to not good at all. Even with the title belt, Lilah just…didn’t fit in after walking around the ENTIRE CON SPACE and even outside, the Queen of Cute was unable to find her place. She tailed back to the room after squeaking at a few angel dragons along the way. To this day, I’m not sure what happened but it what it was… really took it out on Lilah. After undressing and getting back into normal clothing, it was off to shop and get food with  neos8 I even high tailed it to Hobby Lobby and get zippers for Lucario for repair, but the best part of the day was getting to hang out with  wezen again as Xander and more so had a couple of drinks too many…what else happened?

Day 4 – Jaska and malfunction FROM HELL!

Day for was Jaska’s day to shine and along with the Tag Team title, she walked around a bit and get a few pictures until an impromptu dance competition with Mike as Tiger and the sound of RIP! That was a small one until we went to have some professional pics taken and the seam that started our as just a small one completely shredded itself during a pose! EMBARRASSING! It worked fine all day until just and wow. I never got back to my room so fast in all my life. Now, I knew that this one seam was always a bit sketchy so it was only a matter of time before it failed. So away Jaska went to await repair because I had the strangest feeling that short white fleece was not going to last much longer.

Now this doesn’t come all bad, I actually did something for dancing that I never did before which was low floor work and WOW! I can’t believe I did it and someone liked it! Woooo! After all the bad that happened, there was that one glimmer of light that kept me alive through the con. I swear sometimes I wish I could keep a light like that around all the time. Amidst all the other issues, I was hoping nothing else would go wrong but it seems I got one more hint of light when I met an artist I had been looking to meet in person for a while.

Instantly thought of an idea to get the thoughts of failing to make the dance competition off my mind and now I can’t wait to see how that’s going to come out! Also I spent a little more time around my friend  neos8 before going off to the room to get changed and go to the closing ceremonies, something I’ve NEVER done before. I must say that I was impressed with the video they made for it! However, being the fox I am, I could smell and hear the limited excitement about the end of the con. It became more apparent when they asked about the theming; get to this more in the end comments. Overall, the closing ceremonies almost added a bit of fuel to the fire that was already when they announced the theme for next year! HOWEVER, it seems my brain ran through all the anime I watched and suddenly landed on something I have not watched in while! SO YES I do have an idea for next year!

Day 5 - Closing Remarks

Just as quickly as the con started, it ended. Everyone was packing up and the hotel was busy with people getting ready to leave and return back to everyday life. The atmosphere was mixed, the foul smell of displeasure was floating around the hotel like a swimming pool amount of ass-gas was released. I was not clear on what it was but then it struck me like a lightning bolt and even more so, Facebook and twitter exploded with announcements they people left early and commenting on the theme or with Game Overs. Putting more pieces together after the lightning, it seems there was a lot, and I do mean A LOT, of discontent with how the theme of “Game On” was good in concept but so poorly executed. The set pieces were limited to a select few games, Tetris and PacMan being the main focus out so many other games that could have helped out in making the theme so much more… how I should say, truly game worthy.
Videos games and others games have so much history behind them and yes I know it’s impossible to cover everything about games in one convention BUT even the slightest shred of light from their history would have propelled the theme into what could have been the best theme since the Furry University bit. By limited what the audience sees for such a board theme that almost anyone can relate to, seems to have turned a lot of people around, weather excluded from this! The game room was the only light in the attic for this that is what I heard the most about, even then, there is more that could been done to seriously propel the con in a different league.

Overall, I had a blast and more at FWA this year. Even with all the negative things that happened around me, I didn’t let it ruin my experience at the event. This is no amount of negativity that could turn me away from all the hard work I put in just getting there, let alone putting my CDL and job on the line at times. I can’t express enough what it takes for me to be able go but the results at the end always speak for themselves. This came in the result of meeting someone I talked over Skype so much over the years to finally meet him in person. His joy went unparalleled to anything I could ever imagine in a life time.

The last day was sad for a lot of people but overall it was expected of such to occur but more so, thanks to social network and messaging services, we, the furries of the world can remain in contact. Finally, I was say that if you saw me or even just took a picture of me; feel free to tag/notify etc! To all you lovely furs out there, I love you and be safe, always!

What do you do when someone you trusted or thought you could trust, suddenly up and vanishes after agreeing to make a very important project after getting a divorce? The project was paid off and not long ago, this person divorced a friend and moved off across the country. She has deleted all contacts and social media but I'm not sure if she's active on here but what is apparent is that she has made no attempt to contact me since about getting the completed project to me and promised me by FWA this year would be done.

Normally I don't put anyone on the spot but this person has officially destroyed the patience I have for her and worse is my trust because when I moved and went back over the road, she was GIVEN FOR FREE a washer and dryer set!

NOW, I do understand if you work full time and do still try work on fursuits (like two people I do maintain my patience, because you have the extra responsibility of that and personal time, and use the extra income to go to cons and such but when you're a stay at home wife of an over the road trucker with no kids and no job and you completely abandon things without saying a word to me in any shape fashion or form...that is the worse.

All I need now is some advice about what can be done about this and who would be willing to take up the role of taking on a rather complex project is very important one at that.

Das Ayn

A bit over due for an update about my writings but here goes:

1: There are a handful of stories and one particular story that I'm in process of recreating and deleting from my gallery. It's the only time that I posted a story and then hated the way it came out, later. So that one story has been worked on and slowly recreated so give it some time and I will have that posted. If there are any concerns about it, I am taking PMs and emails to respond over it.

2: I do have three stories on the fritz of being completed just really stuck with one and working finishing the others. Work and such has been keping me busy but i am slowly working my way into some new to come content SO be on the look out for that.

Well that's all for stories and here comes some updates on fursuits and projects some of you are aware of:

1: As of this journal, I am going to paying off projects and adoptions to possibly clear the slate before the end of the year. I didn't have any new pics or videos to post yet as I'm looking to get to some projects that require a second suiter to be with me. This is includes a very special video I'm working based on an adoption pending with a a friend.

b: So if you're reading this AND you have a project that is still due with me, we may need to talk ASAP. For those who know me more personally, NO PHONE CALLS! Updates need to be dealt with through notes or e-mail and maybe text message.

2: This is no surprise BUT there is a secret project in the works that I'm slowly getting updates on and as far anything goes, I'm not revealing the source of project nor what the project is even when it's completed. There will be no FA pics or social media pics on this project and furthermore, MAYBE one or two con appearances. This is mostly because of the nature and species of the character in which only two people know what it is and who it's coming from and I swear if it leaks out, I'm going to start flipping cars. I state that once this project is completed, I may start another secret project to accompany it.

Yes! Greetings and hellos from the wonderful city of New Orleans. Just wanted to give everyone a HUGE update on what's been going on since the last journal or even submission post!

Over the months I have been slowly working my way to updating my Youtube with a tone of new ideas which include some dancing so I can't wait to get started on that. My youtube updates will including a new adoption that I am working with the help of  itallonova and some with  wezen with some work that both of them are doing for me! Hey, if you like Lilah and the soon to come character who's name I will release when the suit is complete, check them out and if there is something you'd like don't be afraid to ask questions!!!

Now for some of the ideas, I will need some help with camera and possibly special effects so if you know someone or can personally work with special effects send me a note and/e-mail with that you are capable of doing and we can talk it over.

Now as for suits, I am preferring to keep them secret unless someone really knows me and knows what I look for just might possibly new. Mostly what I'm looking for is characters to play in various different videos for Youtube and which MAY carry over to cons and such. I have had to think things over and I come to the consensus that a few characters of my that are in the process of the being adopted or turned into a suit will have the following changes made to them.

Lilah, will no longer dance in videos UNLESS it's specifically asked for.

"Savoy" as I'm coding the character until released will and must be seen as Lilah's big sister. She will also only dance when asked for

"The Stoned Jex" as the character is coded will be full-time dance orientated. Most of the videos from him will be for dancing. Cute and amusement videos like what Lilah and "Savoy" will be doing will kept to a minimum unless asked for.

"APANT" again a code name for a character but I'm completely unsure of the the status of this character because the maker has updated me on anything. This is the only suit I have gotten any updates on so if it keeps up I may reassign this project to some.

There is one other project that is in the works and I'm close to getting updates with it but this project is so secret, that I can't disclose any information or updates about this suit due to the character it is and who may be offended by the character because of what it is. YES there are people who have seen through the curtain I've hung up around the character. I even canceled what I was hoping would be a unique and cool character to make this one for multiple reasons including cons and videos with a friend who wants to make a complete and full wrestling entrance with this character. *EEEEE!* I'm going to be super ecstatic once this character is completed.

Also, writing are going to come MUCH faster than before with some extra free time I have so keep your eyes peel for new stories and possible new characters to show up.

Other than the RoseWood Brothers, Srys and others characters I'm sure you would seen abit for, I'm slowly developing and making stories for new characters that have been seen in art and even featured in other stories, so be on the look out for these to come in the near future.

It's been..several month since I posted a journal here but I wanted to tell all my watchers that there is a lot of stuff to come including art, stories and of course everyone's favorite lavender puppy Lilah. Also I wanted to update you on some kinds which includes character adoptions.

In the near future, I'm adopting two characters which you will see soon! If you'd like to see more of these to characters just let me know, also, because of this, I'm looking for someone who can work some photoshop magic on some picture ideas that I'd need have done considering I'm working solo with the pictures I'm taking. (Suit size and personnel availability).

Well it's that time again, Nerdacon, gathering of all things nerdy and of course the addition costumes and food. Ah, yes, how joyous a time for me and my not so well lined wallet but a time to get all dressed and show off my prestige acting skills and not get in trouble. Anywho, I need to go back to wear this story started and work my well-timed way into the more lovely details.

This story starts back in august from the last journal I made and boy did a lot of things change other than about the countless pounds of cargo. I figured that I'd get to go to nerdacon after railroading my way through training miles like I didn't have jake brakes and my truck was going to crash in a massive, fiery explosion upon my arrival. However, a certain unfortunate fender bender courtesy of my OTR trainer set the plan back but I figured it could still be done. So with a smile I made my merry way to home to finally achieve my prize that loomed in the distance like a carrot dangling off a rope that was just out reach until you figured out the secret. Things looked up and I continued my journey until the state of Georgia turned over a new tablet with a revelation that turned the once a secret on it's head and I had start from the second square.

Stepping off my trainer's truck, I tried again....and again...and again until I finished a second race to the prize and boarded the next bus OUT of the state called Indiana. Lots of sleep later, I made it, back to the half-shell of a city called Columbus. 24 hours later, I was licensed to drive commercial vehicles and found out that Nerdacon was the next day. Panicking some, I remember that my lovely adopted character Lilah has been patiently waiting for me to return. Snatching up  furrymike we trotted our way to Lilah, dark prison and freed her from the darkness. Oh joy, been 4 months since I seen my lovely puppy and immediately I remembered that I had to get two fixed thanks to me letting a little extra fox body stretch her out a bit too much.

Thankfully  tobyg 's girlfriend is a fursuit maker and she came to the rescue and fixed Lilah's...holes... to make "The Queen of Cute" a happy puppy again and Nerdacon was absolutely doable. With a big grin I rested for the day and I figured that the sky would darken and the thunder I know I was going to plunder was going to u-turn and come back to get me. It was well worth the way, I couldn't wait, Lilah could not wait. I missed the first day of the con but I know I could let it go and use the second day to achieve my goal of suiting the ENTIRE TIME!

Day of Con visit: After politely asking for and fueling a friend's car, I collected Lilah and invited  tobyg and his girlfriend (GerBear) to come with me. This was fun because I'd never been to a con with a known suit maker and more so someone who know as many people as she did. Honestly I was neverous but I kept my focus and drove to the convention site hoping the new site would be more interesting than the old one as there would be WAAAAAAY more space and more people to meet and interact with but my hopes were crushed when I found that parking was near impossible with out paying. With a sigh, I pulled out the $5 bill for parking and proceeded to the Columbus Convention and Trade Center parking garage. TO my surprise when I told the attendant that I was here for Nerdacon, it was like the gates opened my $5 felt like 3 cent. Parking was easy 10 spaces down, parking. Woohoo!

I decided to stay out of suit to see who was there before I get in character. It's not 1530 (3:30pm) and I figured by quarter after four I'd get in suit until close. This plan worked as I got to catch with my friend, a new to the trade blacksmith and an artist I'm working with on some new content. i was able to locate my brother and his two friends which worked OK but the time at the point was running low. Something about the Trade Center just didn't sync at this point. A gun should in the south hall, a HUGE birthday party in the north hall and Nerdacon eating up the entire second floor. This didn't seem to work as people were coming and looking for the gun show but came in the north side just to find us.

Anywho with grin it was time to get in suit. With in 15 minutes I was now Lilah and it was time to play. Lilah went back into the con and like she always does, it was time to get pictured more times that I could count. Every 2-5 minutes, I was stopped to take at least 2 pictures. This lasted for 127 minutes until I decided to go dance and even then there was even enough smart phones and digital cameras going to make for the great dance off. Anywho, I decided to try to stop the photos and just explore but my efforts were quickly shot away as people looking for once of the two other events decided to take a little extra time to take a picture with the lovely lavender puppy. It was like it was never going to the stop and got worse when I went into the dealer's room. Again...every few minutes or just a few steps I was taking pictures and at this point I was just tired....tired of standing!

After a couple more pictures, some surprise appearances in the TCG room and game room, I moved to the cooler and quieter area of the viewing room. It was at this time that things dawned on my like the sun rising into a cloudy morning.

1: Con space was there but the con seemed so much smaller than was it used to be. Maybe it was jjust the shear size of the ENTIRE SECOND FLOOR that spread the con thinner than pilot house coffee. This is OK as you not shoulder to shoulder to people but being spread so thin made it harder to find people.

2: The other events made it a little odd to suit with people who ventured too far and didn't know what was going on. Mixing costumes with suits and guns... mmm.. not a good idea with animals, ninjas and deadpool walking around.

3: Smaller Everything, yep there was no where as many games in the game room as it was before and I don't think the dance floor was too crowded either. Where did it all go? Game just don't vanish in thin air?

There is a lesson to be learned here and all you suck-ups and bench warmers can go lay an egg over this but honestly nerdacon at the Columbus Iron works was fun to suit at but yet this con just timing and issues with just organization. I seen that the costume contest took for what seem like forever and the raffle was a sham. Maybe this step in a new direction was at the least a good attempt but the attempt took 5 steps back. Overall a 75% positive expirence but one that I'm putting in the book as needed much more careful planning to avoid event conflicts.

Well I need to be careful about saying that as the event my end up at the Civic Center, crap, I said to much already.

Lastly, I want to end this not pleasing con report with thought that I do have bigger plans ready for the next nerdacon and other cons in the future. Just watch for updates as I do have some ideas in the works and more so already in motion. Until next time my fellow watchers and there some Lilah pictures coming!

I really owe you an update so hear I go:

1: I have been in Indianapolis Indiana for training to kick start my my career change for the passed month and I finally got passed the hardest part, the state CDL test. It has been the single hardest thing I've ever done and I passed it. It has consumed a lot of time but I finally got passed it. I have been writing and I will get to that soon.

2: For writings I am going to announce that one story series is being cut short because I don't like the route it is taking and it's completely auto piloted. So I writing but there are no computers here and every I do is on a smart phone. I will not say which story is cut at this time.

3: Fur suit Projects: as some of you know I am trying get these projects going and completed as soon as I can. Training has consumed all this time but I promise I will get to them as soon as I can. I have one more test to pass and I will be ready to start them up and get them rolling. This does include one very project for a friend.

Hey hey! The Ayn here!

I'm looking for a foam head base! If you are wondering why I need a foam head base it's because I was talking to the family member who has decided to take the task of making the long awaited "Ayn" fursuit and she refuses to make a head. It's because she's not wanting to crave the foam, so she agreed to work with a foam base and will fur it herself. I've looking around some and I'm having a hard time finding one.

Now I know what you're thinking...wait there a bunch one here... yea but if anyone whose worked with me knows one major thing: I can not use Paypal. I mainly use money gram transer/order or postal money orders.

So if you know someone or is willing to make a foam head for my dear family to work with let me! Either note or send me an e-mail and let me know what we can do.

A “Furry’s Dream Come True” or just the wishes of lonely boys?

There is something strange about movies that make me praise myself for not signing my soul away to production companies but remaining and freelance writers who just knows how to tell a good a story. It’s sad to see that see good stories go down the drain because Hollywood wants to make the next biggest movie but become shrouded in their own mist, blinding the path of a good movie and falling down in the eternal pit of “never going to watch that again”. So after having a rather odd night, I searched through a friend’s DVD collection searching for the ever so needed brain entertainment as I was satisfied by the trade story I finished and came across the movie Ted. Now I’ve seen the trailer and heard a few things here and there but I’ve never got around to watch it until recently so I fed my curiosity…at least I hoped.
Other than Seth McFarlane, this movie was strung with a cast of actors I had not previously heard of so I could not make a wrap on their possible performances and want to keep this as un-biased as possible. Not as bad as the cast from Metal Tornado but it was close shaving with this crew even if it means leaving a few hairs untouched.
“Ted” starts off at some point in the 80s with a rather standard American family with two parents with a single child. However some early violence here made the move lose 5 points for making a rather radical joke on those of the Jewish faith but didn’t get lost its twisted humor as the younger aged protagonist, in this case 8 years old, makes his first appearance. The lonely boy who was just never accepted by peers, oh how it sounds likes a good number of youth still to this day. Worse for this young guy is that it’s Christmas where joy and cheer are suppose to be that be the main emotions but sadness and loneliness are the choice here. Things cheer up some when the boy opens his Christmas gift and get the rather large stuffed bed he’s dreamed off.
With an unchanged expression, I watch this movie progress as the boy makes his wish that his ever so awesome teddy bear would actually talk and be his best friend forever. Like most movies, a shooting star streaks across the sky like a naked runner at the Super Bowl. Morning comes and the boy finds that his teddy his missing. Me, I start to think, oh ha ha movie good joke but it comes back with the new living teddy bear but with a voice that would want to make me punch it face but remembering that it was geared for an 8 year old, I had to hold my plush doll punching for later.
A couple of sequences showing the boy slowly maturing a long side his new furry friend for life but I think, wait how does this work? How did the material not degrade over time? How is it possible that he went through high school and college without a battle scar or even a good story? Where’s the conflict except for this guy’s apparent very obvious social oddity of not having friends but this living stuffed animal? Then he grows up and gets a job and Ted is there like a shadow never leaving his friend’s side. Smoking pot and drinking beer like it’s college all over again, oh joy!
I have to hand it Seth McFarlane as various voices from family guy make not so subtle appearance which was charming. To me, it seemed like the creator/screenplay writer wanted you focus on Ted and not the main character though it seems like Ted is more an accessory to the protagonist by causing him to do some outrageous things just to get out of work and come smoke with him.
Then the love interest makes her appearance and I thought: “oooh, here comes the conflict, man’s best friend is a talking plushie and here comes the trouble”. My hopes where crushed when it didn’t work that way. It’s getting stoned at a public to truly introduce conflict when a guy and his son decide they are interesting in taking a 27 year old teddy bear from our main guy even offered insane amounts of compensation for Ted but were promptly turned down.
Now this is where I got a little more interested, my dull expression changed as I was hoping to see some shady plotting, back alley dealing all trying to get their hands on Ted. However like “Metal Tornado” I was not treated to horror of trying to protect a treasured belonging from nasty plots of “How to steal a stuffed bear”.
The movie hangs on by flopping between the good/bad relationship conflict which worked for the most part but started to get old really quick. I basically started a timer and just took off points for every minute it continued. The two antagonists appear again and actually get their hands on Ted, which had me thinking: “That was just too easy”!
A couple of frantic driving scenes which were paying homage to the 80s where OK at best but could have worked a little better. Cars that magically repair themselves after being converted to one size down from what it was suppose to be. One scene of risky stunt climbing but the movie didn’t get me to change expression anymore. What was supposed to be a sad, tear making scene didn’t quite work to help lift the soon to be negative score that looming over it like a storm cloud.
Overall the movie was good, not as funny as it was cragged up to be but still general good. Could have done more to show more conflict but was a complete let down. As mentioned at top of this review would this be “Furry’s dream come true” or just “the wishes of lonely people”? I doubt it would be the first part of so the ladder portion would suffice. If it was geared for the desperately lonely showing it’s hard to let go of something didn’t make you feel so lonely then it did do a great job there. So in all fairness Ted gets 80 out of 100 as it’s score.

Words can not express the pain I feel right now. My closest uncle and mentor has passed. I'm finding really hard to let go as he taught me so much when I was younger even after his accident, I still learned so much from his experience. Time, age, and sickness may taken him away from be, his love and memories will never leave my heart and mind. Rest In Peace Uncle Erick... I will miss you so much!

No matter how many tears I shed. How much I get on my knees and beg. The stories I write nor the voice recordings I make, there is no force on this earth that can bring him back to me. So here I sit, crying my eyes out because I can't let go of someone who I loved so much more than I could ever express. To road to recovery is long but I will try, so please lend a shoulder, so I can cry.
