That's about all I have to say, this year has so far been a very productive and progressive one for me, to be quite honest dropping out of collage has been one of the biggest, and best decisions I have ever made for myself. I'm living on my own now with two incredibly room mates whom I can play games with, have amazing conversations with about the things that I love and the biggest thing yet.
I have finally started getting my foot into the door of my career path, when I hear artists and so forth just say when it comes to getting into that career path of just "Doing it" I didn't realize that even though it is yes very difficult to do so, it is at the same time very easy. I have met some incredibly personalities in the animation field and now I have contacts and some ways to meet my peers in VA, I have also met and now have contacts with 2 professional VA artists and they say I just have raw talent, this is amazing and overall very flattering. I will not squander the help they gave me and I will continue to move on and improve.

Xmas Haul
General | Posted 12 years agoSo I didn't get much for Xmas at all, I pretty much got the only thing I really wanted period, for both Xmas and my B-day, my dad was a super sweetie and got me a WiiU! Yush. So my lovlies expect me to stream many a WiiU games hopefully soon, Namly WOnderful 101 cause that game has little to NO love towards it for being one of the best Vid games to come out in a long long time.

Anyone you love and care for make sure to take the time to wish them the best, tell them to be happy and merry, tell them that they mean the world to you and so forth. We shouldn't denounce that feeling to just one day of the flipping year. So I say to you, make this your stand, make this the first day of the rest of your life to make someone else's day the best flipping day ever.

Pokken Fighters and my overall feelings.
General | Posted 12 years agoSo, as anyone could've guessed knowing me for years I love fighting games, it's overall one of my favorite genre's in video games. I love how they play, I love how character driven they are, and how PLAYER driven they are. It's the perfect mesh of artistic liberty with characters to make them play differently and fun and challenging the player to really sit down with the game and learn how to play it well. So when I heard about Pokken awhile back I really am down with the idea of a Pokemon based fighting game, it's just overall really radical, though there's a few things that need to be addressed with the game that I really hope Gamefreak and whoever else is helping develop it needs to do to make it a nice fun fighter for both Pokemon fans and the FGC to enjoy it.
1. Don't flipping bother with Type match ups guys, please...if your going to stick to primarily fighting types and mixes that's fine but please don't have type weaknesses and advantages just bog down your system, that just won't make the game fun. Example if I were to say pick up Lucario and main the hell out of his(I wouldn't but yeah) and if I were put up against a Blaziken whom is advantageous against Lucario cause Fire>Steel then thats like a 8/2 matchup on the get go, it's like trying to fighting a body builder and your 2 years old, it just isn't good/fun game design for a fighting game.
2. Roster Issues, oh yes the amazing roster of a fighting game it can make/break your fighting game so much for a lot of people. My only real plea for this Gamefreak is do NOT have 2 of the same evolution line in your game; I don't need Blaziken and Combusken at the same time in my roster. Thank you.
3. Overall game feel; I could care less if this is a super mashy fighting game, I really don't either go off of Tekken/Soul Calibur's way if it's a 3d fighter or maybe try Persona 4 arena's way and have it so you can do a full combo if you just mash one button that's fine. If you do go that route with Persona 4 still keep it open enough for players like myself to learn the overall mechanics and be able to really break into the game with some high level stuff, I know it's the hardest thing in the world to make a fighting game that's accessible to both..but I really feel they need to make a effort to make it playable and fun for both Pokemon fans, and the FGC.
4. How to handle any sort of stats or anything like this; Ok so yes I feel that it'd be fun to have the game have SOME sort of RPG quality to it, but for the sake of Competitive play I hope you can turn this off, overall give each character a base stat in their vitality and thats about the only one you should worry bout. Not many know but games like Street Fighter, Blazblue and the like characters have different HP values, it's a way of balancing the game. Grapplers overall have more HP then say Zoning characters cause they have to get in, in order to do any sort of damage while Zoner's are basically glass cannons.
Now onto my dream roster for the game, I am going to list 12 of the pokemon I'd like to see the most in this game and I'm going with 12 because thats the absolute bare bones usually for a High Budget fighter.
Mienshao: Simply enough I think you could do a lot with Mien in fun and interesting ways in a fighter, it's so specifically designed to be a Parrying character, so give it like a good number of parry's and really good tool set for just keeping your opponent guessing.
Lucario: He's confirmed pretty much anyhow, and like in Type wild he'd basically just be your basic Shoto character, Fireballs, Dragon Punchs and the like.
Blaziken: Same with Lucario he's basically confirmed, same deal with Lucario but I feel they should focus more on a kick move set with him.
Hitmontop: Cause honestly I feel he's the most fun when it comes to the Tyrogue line, you can do some really fun things with him, basically he'd be like Eddie Goro with really fun animations and so forth, good pokes, really confusing and deep mechanics with stance changing.
Machamp: Cause seriously we need a Grappler and Machamp is like the best freaking representation for a grappler ever for a game like this.
Chesnaught: Because I think he'd be a reallly fun beefy rush down character that'd have some really fun defensive options, plus you need to have at least one of the new generations to represent.
Monferno/Infernape: Either or, I like both but seriously he'd probably be one of hte best rush down characters in the game, I see him being stupid crazy in mobility and so forth, probably would have rekkas.
Toxicroak: Cause I just think he's radical...also he'd have some weird fun status ailment stuff going on.
Gallade: Cause Psychic/Fighting is the coolest f'ing mix ever and he'd be the sweetest f'ing Rush Down character ever with a teleport and everything UNGAGH(May or may not be who i'd main)

General | Posted 12 years agoSo, as many have noticed but with the latest game being out I've been on a MAJOR Jojo's kick as of late, and why shouldn't I be Jojo's is fucking RADICAL. Seriously if any of y'all are into Shonen anime at all or Anime in general it's one of those series you should really REALLY check out. There's a reason why it's been around since the mid 80's and still going strong today, it's one of the most influential anime/manga's to come out during that era and man is it just a fun fun series.
Anyways; so All Star Battle came out and eh, it's a alright game it's rather busted as hell but man does it look fun but holy gods is the soundtrack AMAZING.

Well currently my room is torn apart and being repainted And remodled so can't do anything. Like the worst, I hate fucking doing this cause this is such an atypical "Furry" thing to do is to write a whole journal bitching about things, but hey I have the right to ramble and rant about something that has pissed me off so much to the point were I almost decked someone in the face.
SO...Wal-Mart hate...it's deserved, it really is I worked for that company for almost 5 years, got fired for bullshit reasons and I overall hated working there after several changes were made to my job location.
Well fuck that noise, that place is freaking GREAT to work for compared to Target. Jesus christ Target is so god awful, so unbelievably horrendous with it's treatment of it's employees that I can't seem to understand why anyone stays there and works there. I live a pretty independent life, I pay my father rent, I pay my own bills and buy my own food, I don't get any sort of allowance or anything whatsoever, so it's kind of hard to live when your place of employment feels the need to only work you for 12 hours spread across 3 days...not to mention that I am available for 5 of those days of the week mostly cause of school. Now your thinking, "But Aza, you've only worked there for so long surely you'll get more as time goes on." Which I won't I have talked to several people who have worked for target for YEARS, and it's the same case and it the biggest reason why their turn over rate is so bloody high.
Not only that, but I swear to god that company's standards are so fucking high that it feels like I'm working for a high class restaurant in the form of a retail store. I was hired and payed to work pretty much full time in electronics, but apparently I am not expected to give my full devoted attention to that, oh nonono I have to take my time to make sure I get all of that taken care of and then completly throw it out the window and pay attention to fucking Baby Supples and clean that area for the rest of the night. I understand helping out other area's to get them cleaned before hand but...clearly Target has hired a SHIT ton of people to clearly cover every area of the store with one person per area right? Thats why I don't get any hours? Nope. Not at all.
Also I'm going to keep this light, every single person I work with I have no way of relating to one way or another, all of them are super clean, super preppy, and I can't seem to find one quality in them that I can relate to, to even start a conversation and get to know them and like them. All the managers are jackasses and bitchs.
So...I'm going to stop here before I pop a vein. I'm just going to say this...I fucking miss my job at Wal-Mart...yes it was a shitty work enviroment, yes the overall surplus of customers there were anal jackasses but you know, at least I could make a living there, at least they WORKED me instead of having me come in at the dead of the night to spend 4 hours of my day that I could spending to do ANYTHING else, I don't even feel like I work, I feel like I'm just there to waste time for the day and get "Paid" and by paid I mean not at all cause I'm LOOSING money every day I come in to work there. I miss all the managers I did get along with, I miss all my co-workers whom I had a great time with most of which I still talk to on a regular basis, I miss so much from a place that seems to get so much hate, when in reality Target is so much worse. That is all.

I want to personally thank MikeZ and the SG community and any bronies that chipped in to make this happen. Now if you don't mind I need to go and breath a little.

Ok, I'll be honest yes it's cheesiest most stereotypical thing quite possible for me to be into musicals, but Wicked is just so god damn good. Like there is no explanation for how impactful this stage play has been for me and pop culture in general. So the thought of a ANIMATED feature length film based off the musical I think would be such a perfect combination of love and devotion. Ok, I'll be honest yes it's cheesiest most stereotypical thing quite possible for me to be into musicals, but Wicked is just so god damn good. Like there is no explanation for how impactful this stage play has been for me and pop culture in general. So the thought of a ANIMATED feature length film based off the musical I think would be such a perfect combination of love and devotion. So yes...I think this deserves as much attention as it does cause now that I have seen this I really don't want a live action adaptation like...at all.

We got ourselves some Squigly and dat Leviathan whom btw are going to be voiced by Lauren Landa(Voice of LItchi from Blazblue) and fucking LIAM O' BRIEN(voice of War from Darksiders) Just...all my love, and now we get BIG MOTHER FUCKIN BAND? My heart is all a flutter.
Quite possibly one of the most stylized, inspirational, and characterized fighting games to come out in a long time is getting so much love, from the fans, the artists and animators, the Designers and the Voice talents. TO me this game represents where the game industry needs to go, were it's a perfect blend of good game design with Artists leading the foreground. Hell the voice actors themselves are willing to record extra comical DLC packs(Which will be free) at certain amounts as well, we're already getting Republican Double(SHE GONNA TAKE YOUR JOBS), Robo Ms.Fortune(BEEPBOOP MEOW), and Cristina Vee is going to be doing a Female announcer pack, with Salty Parasoul and Derkwheel as packs to come up if they make more.
Seriously guys...I know I rant abotu this shit all the fucking time, like a broken record, it gets tiring and I know it, but a game like this just touches me in all the special right places, it's such a dedication to not only people like myself who play fighting games but it also is such a great contribution to Artists and animators. So please if you even just have $1 to spare give it up to these guys.

General | Posted 13 years agoSo, as many of you know, I love fighting games; ALLOT. I live, eat and breath them, I'm not a GOOD player perse but I love the genre, I love what they do for the game industry, I love how that they have such a depth to them and such. Espeacially for the characters.
Skullgirls to me is one of the best fighters to come out in a long time if for anything the art alone, and the team making it needs YOUR help, they are having a crowd funded raise to help make the next set of DLC characters. So please show your support. I'll love you forever.
